Overall: highly recommended United Waterproofing. Only issues were related to scheduling.I recently hired Matt and United Waterproofing to address flooding in my garage and boiler room. Matt was able to come very quickly after I called to evaluate the issue and give me an estimate for the work. I had gotten estimates from a few other companies and UW came in at the most reasonable price while also addressing the issues more completely than the other estimates I received.The only issues with the project were related to scheduling. Due to a miscommunication with the office, the start date was delayed by about a month. On top of that, the start date was pushed back at the last minute, which was a bit inconvenient as I had to have my boiled disconnected for the work to be done and I could not reschedule the plumber, so I was without hot water for much longer than I needed to be to complete the work. The crew also arrived about 3 hours later than what I was told on the first day. However, once the crew arrived, they worked very quickly and were able to complete the entire project within the timeline I was told, so I can't complain too much. They also beautifully repaired the concrete that had to be torn up, as well as repairing my concrete path and brick wall, leaving them both much more attractive than they were before.I highly recommend hiring them, just be aware that things might get shuffled around at the last second.

Matt knew exactly how to address the issue we were having, delivered a reasonable and detailed estimate on time, was able to start quickly, and his team was done exactly on time. Matt and his team did a fantastic job installing footing and french drain systems at our house. They started the job on the agreed-upon day, and finished it quicker than expected, without any apparent sacrifice of quality and no "up-charges". The most impressive part of the whole experience was how responsive and communicative Matt was; he almost always answered his phone, responded to calls and texts immediately, and took the time to explain the process and answer all my questions. In my experience working with a wide variety of contractors/home improvement specialists, this is a true rarity and a breath of fresh air. 5 stars!

With our foundation sitting on a high water table, hydrostatic pressure did what it does the best …got us couple of inches of water in basement thru joints every time it rained ! Few YouTube videos and google searches later we knew we have to get us an “interior French drain system with sump pump “ ….found United waterproofing, they had 5-star ratings all the way already. So we hired them and they just backed up everything the reviews said….did an OUTSTANDING job for us - transparent no-nonsense approach, reasonable price, came in on schedule, were very thoughtful during entire process (which was a lot!) and knocked the “quality” ball out of the park ! Matt Needle, Willy & crew are what professionals with knowledge & commitment look like. Angela was super helpful . This firm is worth your time & money if French drain is what you are looking do in basement. Now to be honest, as I write this review I do wait for proof of the pudding:-) next rain is going to be our moment of truth…so fingers crossed. On the overall contract- Well done United Waterproofing team!

They were able to get my project done earlier and for cheaper than other companies I got quotes from. Friendly and helpful staff. They cleaned up the basement and removed everything after they were done. Had another rainstorm the day they finished and there was no flooding or leaking.

Had heavy rains just after the work was completed and we did not see any water in the previously troubled area in our basement. Hopefully it stays like this in future. We had water damage in our basement after a storm and called United Waterproofing to waterproof our basement so that we wouldn't have water damage again. They upgraded our old waterproofing system in the basement. The quality of the materials and system was a significant improvement. I had a sewer backup flood so my insurance recommended Jason and United Waterproofing for the water mitigation cleanup. Jason personally came over my house prior to the cleanup to walk me through everything that’s was going to take place. These guys are awesome. They were on site by 8am every day, very clean and very respectful. Jason checked in at the end of every day to ensure we are still happy and that work is being done at a high standard. I cannot speak to the effectiveness of the system since it was recently installed. However, this review pertains to my dealings with the company as well as the install process itself. Matt is a pleasure to work with and made clear through his actions and communications that customer happiness is his number 1 priority. He was really a pleasure to deal with and never gave me a hard time. He was responsive and anything that i asked of him and his crew was done. The guys who installed the system were very nice and for all appearances did a good job. After the job was done there was one small thing that wasnt done the way i wanted it so matt came and fixed it himself. If i were to critique anything it was just hard to communicate with the workers since they only spoke spanish, but it was easily overcome with google translate. Thanks to matt and his team.
