Excellent experience with Brown Roofing. Mat, the sales rep, was extremely thorough in explaining their process and how their methods/materials are superior to their competitors. Mat was not your average “sales guy”. It was truly a pleasure to work with him as he is a down to earth guy who sympathized with my many roofing issues. I had a new roof put on my old stone house in 2017 by a different company. I had many issues in the last two years with water damage and leaking. Brown stepped in and took care of me in a very timely fashion. I won’t bore you with all the details of the issues I had, but the team at Brown identified all the problems and clearly explained their plan. Big shout out to Bill, the project manager, who was on top of the job and constantly kept me up to date with the project. He had great drone shots of particular items he wanted to show me. The whole process with Brown (beginning to end) made me comfortable and confident they did the best job. Also, they back up their work with a 50 year warranty which is transferable to the next owner. Take it from a guy who learned the hard way and got burned, go with a trusted company like Brown.

This is the best roofing company period. Extremely knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. They get the job done fast and use the best materials. Everything was super streamlined. When the Sale Representative, Chase came out for the appointment, he treated me like a client, not just another job. But what really sold me, was when he broke out a ladder and climbed up onto my roof to inspect and evaluate the job. His professionalism won me over and I didn't hesitate to go with Brown Roofing. Then Connor, the Project Manager greeted my wife and I on installation day, and again, very professional and courteous. Connor kept me apprised of any issues throughout the day and sent aerial photos of the progress to my phone. I felt very confident that the job would get done in a professional manner and I wasn't disappointed when I arrived home from work that evening. Connor and his team had our roof 99 percent complete on day one and didn't want to rush the finishing touches and came back the following day. Throughout the whole process, Brown Roofing made sure that they left my property the same way as the day they arrived. Placing plywood sheets to protect our windows and even went so far as to protect our flowerbeds. With the job complete, it doesn't even look like anyone was here, except of course for the professionally installed roof! I wasn't looking for the cheapest roofing option, I was looking for a quality product, professionally installed and Brown Roofing delivered! The whole team from Chase, Connor and Customer Service Representative, Jennie were top notch and I feel very confident that my wife and I will have this roof for many years to come. I highly recommend Brown Roofing!

Definitely an extremely good experience and highly recommended. The roof crew arrived early in the morning. After the old shingles got removed, the plywood boards under them were found in very bad condition: most of them could not be reused, a situation nobody had though of prior. We got several options from the project manager on site and in real-time and had good conversation as to pros and cons of each of the solution. Due to this 'unexpected', the crew continued doing their job on the roof with what plywood boards available at the time while the manager was away shopping for more plywood boards and loading them into his truck, with no delay at all of ongoing work progress, which, as homeowner, is the most satisfactory experience ever. After the project was done, they cleaned up the the work site completely and I didn't find a single nails left behind. I even saw one of the crew carefully hand picked debris from inside of and around the bushes before the house. As a whole, they finished their work in time as promised in a single day even extra amount of work had been added given the unexpected plywood board and other issues found on site with my old, many-year roof. Details tell all and speak louder. The organization and process of replacing my roof was superior! Hats off to Carlos, the project manager that was assigned to my roof replacement, and also to K. C. They both managed the process to perfection. Timing expectations were met, the crew who worked on the roof was extremely professional and worked very efficiently. I was very impressed with the level of care that they provided to my property overall to ensure that nothing was damaged. And the drone footage was amazing. The result is beautiful! Outstanding customer service and workmanship! First, let me say that Chase, the sales representative, Bill, the project manager, and Diego, the team leader on the ground, were consummate professionals. They kept me in the loop with dates, approach to their work and making sure they were meeting expectations. I am a very picky person and paying attention to detail is part of my own work so seeing the Brown team have they same attention to detail I do, was extremely reassuring. They cleaned up as they worked and the grounds, which have significant gardens, were left as they found them, spotless. Their pride in their work shows and for that, I am grateful. The installation of gutters looks great. Workers were professional, cleaned up all of their debris and very satisfied with the job. I do have to comment on another matter of Brown Roofing not returning my 3 telephone calls I made to them looking for an estimate on another small job at the same site. Within the 2 weeks of contacting Brown Roofing in trying to get an estimate, nobody ever returned my calls.

I have been interested in a full roof replacement for quite some time. I was always hesitant until I met with Darwin from Brown Roofing. I have only great things to say about my experience with Brown Roofing. The sales rep, Darwin, walked me through the process and explained what was going to happen every step of the way. He listened to me and answered every question I had. This company does an amazing job & they care about your property! I had a great feeling about this company after Abdul came to the house to give me an estimate. He definitely gave me piece of mind & he is extremely knowledgeable (as did/is Carlos-Job Coordinator). The crew at my house (Carlos's crew) were very professional & quick! I had a roof that was badly leaking and I mean buckets. Happened all at once on a Saturday night. Monday morning 8AM I called my local mom and pop roofer, commonly used in my area. Mailbox full, no answer on cell phone. So I called Brown before opening time and Kim (from Accounting no less) was kind enough to pick up the phone and arrange on the spot to get an estimator to my house that day. Next day my house was tarped to keep us dry. New roof done about 2 weeks later. Thanks Kim, you went above and beyond.Great experience all around. Kim and Jenn were awesome, sales process very thorough and transparent. Install team was impressive. KC and his crew were great to work with. It was a complicated, damaged, and large roof (34 square, replaced 30 sheets of plywood). They were very tolerant of my endless questions. They made it look easy. We are very pleased with the outcome.If you need a new roof, get ready for sticker shock. You probably could save a few dollars going with a mom and pop shop (if you can get them to take your call) but if you want the service, you need to be willing to pay a little more, then you can sit back and leave the rest to KC and team.Many thanks to the Brown team, it’s nice to find a company that puts the customer first.

This is the second (I guess third, really) time we've hired Brown Roofing to work on our home. The first time was when we needed our roof replaced- it's gorgeous! At the same time, we had them replace our gutters with their Gutter Shutter system, and so far, we love it. No more scary ladder climbs,or roof shuffles, to clear the pine needles from the gutters anymore.... And this time around, we had them replace the gutter at the front of the house. We have crown moulding here and initially they didn't have the means to install the gutters without removing the moulding. Now however, they have the means! They were able to install a build-out and attach the gutter to that. While that gutter had been down, the basement flooded in heavy rains so we are super excited to not have to deal with that headache anymore.Our Salesman Mat is great! He's courteous, understanding, knowledgeable, patient, funny, nice, and accommodating. I know that whenever I need to, I can call him, send him a text or email him- he always gets back to me in a timely manner, and in most cases, almost immediately. The team in the office is great also. Everyone at Brown Roofing is extremely attentive.All of the installers and project manners that we've dealt with thus far have been wonderful. The integrity of the work, the appearance of the final project and the cleanliness of our property is always their priority which is just amazing! How many times do you end up with a beautiful looking project AND a clean home?? For me, almost never, but with Brown Roofing, it's never even a consideration. It's like a package deal.And let's not forget about their warranties! Top notch, as far as I'm concerned. I will admit that we considered 2 other roofing companies at the start of all of this, and Mat and their warranties are really what sold us, and we couldn't be happier. I found Brown roofing when I saw their bus advertisement. It was the best decision I made when I gave them a call. From Jenny in the office to Mat the sales manager. Mat came to the home and was friendly, honest and knowledgeable. My issue was water coming in through my chimney. We made a plan to remove the flashing and have that replaced. Also took off the shingles on both slopes to inspect the plywood. Was going to go for copper flashing but was suggested by the project manager Bill to switch to lead . The lead would be more pliable around the stone. That saved me a few hundred dollars. The day of the repair Bill was their overlooking the project. He too was informative and showed me how their work is different from others. Simply put this is a great roofing company that know what they are talking about. I recently hired Brown Roofing to replace my rear roof as water was coming in to my house during rainstorms. Working with them was a pleasant experience, from Jennifer in the office, Oneil Ramirez explaining their process and quoting me prices, through completion and follow up of the project. Connor and Noel oversaw the crew and Connor ensured clean up was done and that I was happy with the results. The team worked hard and I am thrilled to report that we have since had one of those downpours with heavy winds and I had no further water damage. From start to finish, Brown roofing did exactly what they stated that they would. On the day of install, they were quick and efficient. The onsite supervisor, Bill, kept me in the loop on the progress that was being mad, immediately addressed anything that needed to be o.k'ed by myself and sent time at the end going over the work and flew a drone over the entire roof so that we could see how everything was done.I found them to be professional, communicative and extremely clean. I was torn between two local companies. I'm glad I choose brown. The roof was leaking due to solar panels on a dual layer roof. The whole process was done in one day. I can't believe how nice a new roof looks. They were fast and very professional showed me the whole process on the day of install. Cleaned up pretty well I found nails and they came back and magnetic raked my whole yard. Only issue was they trampled one of my newly planted hydrangeas.

From start to finish my experience with Brown Roofing and getting a complete roof replacement was nothing short of stellar.The initial meeting, where an assessment was made, and a proposal was given was done with great attention to detail, very informative, and Szymon answered all my questions asked and unasked.Next, the scheduling was handled well. Ours was a late winter installation, and weather happened, but communication was always kept up, and we never felt uninformed.Next, the crew came on the morning of replacement. They were like an orchestra. Each man knew where to go, and what to do, and the work flowed surprisingly quickly and amazingly efficiently. The guys have a work ethic that was apparent and plain to see. They cared that the job was done well. That’s so important. It’s really hard to describe what it sounds like inside a house when a 30 + year-old roof is torn off, but it sure felt good.Ours was unusual in that we had such old construction that there was no plywood on the main part of our roof, and the guys had to install 60+ sheets of plywood. They still managed to get the main roof done, and most of a family room roof, along with three smaller roofs all in one day and cleaned up!They just had to come back to finish The family room roof, and a little eyebrow roof over our garage doors. (remember, this is winter so days are short). And the final cleanup was such that you wouldn’t have known they were there. The project manager was personable and knowledgeable. He kept us apprised with words and pictures all day long.I can’t recommend these guys highly enough.They were not our highest bid, and they were not our lowest bid, But I felt like I got a great deal, and a 50 year warranty that I can sell with the house. Not to mention the peace of mind that we’re not taking water in because it was a Job. Well. Done.

Brown Roofing is wonderful. While we didn’t need a new roof, we had issues with old rotted soffits on an 80 year old home. Jeff came out to give us a free quote when we had issues with other companies wanting to charge us just to come out to take a look. Jeff provided a written estimate within a half hour of checking out the house & we ran with it. Bill, our project manager was timely and very communicative and even got us in a day early to get the work done before a rain storm. The work done by Diego and his team was superior and top notch. It took 1 day to do the entire house and these guys worked into the night with flashlights to get the job done. I really can’t recommend these guys highly enough. Thank you all at Brown Roofing.

My fiance has been chasing Brown for their warranty they claim to offer for over a month now and it’s been like playing phone tag. They’ve left him hanging and as it continues to rain and no repair is being made, the house is slightly taking on more and more water infiltration and damage to the wood. It is a 2 year old roof with brand new plywood. The plywood sheet is all wet inside behind the chimney, the flashing is a caulk job, and the masons explained that they believe the counter flashing is incorrect as well. Brown told us the first time to have a mason and siding guys check for leaks around the chimney and siding. Well if the plywood under the shingles is wet what do you think the chimney and siding guys told us? 5 masons came by. 2 cost us money for an inspection. They all said the same thing being, the chimneys solid. In addition to water infiltration, there are quite a few shingles that appeared to be glued down with caulking taken in photos by the mason and not shown to us from Brown when they came by the first time. Just not professional looking at all and with a reputation as big and well as them, we are very disappointed in the care being shown on which they are “the best in Connecticut”. Now, we could have had somebody out here repair and fix this already, yes, but since it will probably void the warranty, we haven't. Very disappointing and frustrating.

When the start of the job was delayed by rain, Project Manager Bill stepped up and worked me into the schedule and made sure his team had everything they needed to knock this one out of the park QUICKLY, allocating his guys between jobs to make it work.
