After purchasing a home, our realtor recommended SRW for the replacement roof that we needed and we are so happy she did! Joe from SRW went above and beyond in ensuring that our project needs were met from the initial inspection all the way down to the final details. Every step in working with him and his team was wonderful and we could not be more pleased with the final results. As first time homeowners and new to CT, Joe was super knowledgeable and personable making sure we understood every step in the process and was a warm welcome to us during this transitional period. The quality of the products he offers and the care he puts into the work doesn’t go unnoticed. After the roof and gutter work that his team did was completed, we had him replace a window and would honestly have loved it if he could have handled all of our home reno projects. We returned home from a weekend away to find a massive branch had fallen from the oak in our front yard and landed on our roof; damaging it, the chimney, and the gutter. Fortunately for us, my sister-in-law had recently been singing the praises of a certain contractor who helped her with a similar issue. She gave us Joe’s contact information that night and we texted him as soon as she did (around 10 pm) – he replied immediately and was at the house the very next morning. Not only did he and his team perform the cleanup and removal of the fallen branch, they also tarped the damaged area of the roof, identified additional damage that the chimney had sustained, and did extensive water cleanup in our basement (due to sump pump failure). With the exception of contacting the insurance company to put in my claim, I had little to no dealings with them – Joe handled it ALL. And the speed with which he managed the whole process – from claim to repairs – was truly remarkable. This being the first claim I had ever filed, I was a bit apprehensive. Joe rendered that apprehension completely unnecessary. I can’t thank him enough. Joe from SRW was tremendously helpful and responsive from my first call to his last day on the job site with his crew helping pick up debris, raking, and making sure the yard was in better shape than when he started. His crew was fantastic! They worked harder and faster than any crew doing anything I've ever watched, and were always polite and friendly and cleaned up the job site at the end of every day.
