We couldn’t have been more pleased with Andrew LaRoche Builders, Stafford Springs.We were one of many homes in Connecticut afflicted with a crumbling foundation. Thanks to an excellent contractor and a warm winter our house was raised and put back down ahead of schedule. We live out of state and our goal was to get our home ready for resale. Carpentry, exterior and interior painting, garage taped and repainted, a large 3 panel French door replaced, sliders replaced in our walkout basement and updating on plumbing and electrical would have been extremely challenging to manage long distance. LaRoche Builders took care of everything from start to finish and provided frequent updates by phone and with pictures. Having a crumbling basement is a nightmare. We hired this contractor to replace our foundation during the upcoming spring season. In the meantime, we wanted to replace our roof so that we have that out of the way before spring construction begins. The roofing crew were hard workers, personable and professional at every step. They took special care not to disrupt shrubs and flowers. They always left the job site clean and picked up, which is not always the case with other roofing contractors. We felt they did an exceptional job and would highly recommend LaRoche and his crew to others. We can only hope that things will go this smoothly in the future!

We selected LaRoche Builders from a number of CSFIC authorized contractors to complete our foundation replacement project. We chose LaRoche based on the stellar reputation that Andrew LaRoche has in the building industry. Our job required excavation, demolition, and replacement of the crumbling foundation, removal and reinstallation of all utilities, the addition of a 14 X 16 sunroom and finished grading of the property. Andrew and his crew installed a new front door on our house. Because we went from a double door to a single door with side lights the interior molding had to be changed. For some reason a resinous residue started to leach from the molding causing it to be unsightly. I called Andrew, he came and looked at it, took pictures, measured, replaced the molding, and painted the molding to a perfectly match without any questions. We were very happy with the professionalism, responsiveness, and quality of the work.

Laroche Builders recently repaired my entire foundation ! This was an incredibly difficult situation for me and Andrew and his foreman Dave Miller were incredibly supportive getting through this traumatic situation . My Home is quite expansive and I am also very particular !!Andrew Laroche , Dave Miller and the crew Wolfe were very proficient and also compassionate in getting my home lifted and grounded !!Andrew was there the day they cut all my trees down ... it was Hard for me! He made frequent calls to make sure I was aware of progress !Dave Miller, the foreman , is a great asset to Laroche. Andrew replaced our entire foundation recently. We had already starting building a new home and had no idea we had an issue. Needless to say it was an extremely stressful time both mentally and financially. We had no choice but to replace the foundation and because we had no "visible" damage we had to use our retirement funds to do so. Andrew had the experience to take it on with confidence. The fact that he is a local builder was a real bonus. His quote was very reasonable and if any thing came up that was an extra he let us know right away. He also used great local professionals to replace things like hardscape and fencing. We completed our project and sold our home quickly. He made an extreme situation easier to handle. We have had a very large addition built on our house by LaRoche and we are extremely impressed. Not only were they friendly, responsive, organized and thorough, but the quality of the work speaks for itself. We have had several people - even complete strangers - stop by and comment on how beautiful the addition is. It was no small piece of work - full 2 car garage with a bonus room on top, fully remodeled kitchen, and converting a bedroom into a hallway and master closet. We highly recommend them!

When we discovered we had a crumbling foundation, a good friend recommended LaRoche Buildrers. Upon meeting Andrew I found him to be extremely knowledgeable about all aspects of a foundation replacement. Considering the scope of the replacement. Andrew and his crew were very conscientious about every phase of the process. Many people do not realize what a difficult task it is to replace an entire foundation, including the garage floor, basement floor and all the footings. I believe we had one of the more problematic replacements but, he and his highly skilled tradesmen did an incredible job!
