Went in to buy carpeting. Service desk in the flooring department did not even attempt to acknowledge us even though we stood there with samples. Just kept their head glued to computer screen. I understand they may have been working on something but a simple acknowledgment and I’ll be with you shortly would have been nice. They just lost a sale. Taking g my business to a store that is willing to service its customers.

Not easy to work with, the staff tries to be helpful but the company is to big for its own good. Staff does not ever seem to be able to figure things out and it’s not the same helpful place it used to be

The people in flooring should have stand up computer desks because they don’t like getting up to help customers . I’ve been in and out of the store deciding on floors for the past couple of weeks and not once did anyone in that department offer help. The man who assisted me with flooring came from doors and he was extremely helpful and patient . Wish I got his name .

I’m very disappointed with the lack of support from Home Depot in the Wallingford, CT store. I’ve been a loyal customer for many years and have seen decline with the support. I ordered front and back storm doors and it’s been a nightmare! They’re both Anderson doors. Anywhere from measurement incorrectly to installation has been a struggle. I called the store and I keep getting a run around. No return phone calls. I went in person and was told the issue has been resolved. I don’t understand the lack of response and follow up. Before placing an order think twice! Shop around and check reviews beforehand,

I had a guy of by the name of either Jim or Tom (I believe it was Jim) from milling department help me. When I tell you he was God send, he was more than helpful and his smile will warm your soul up! He was very knowledgeable and I was getting the wrong tools for a project I was working on regarding a door and he helped me with finding the right tools and he help save me some coins! Thank you soooo much for your kindness and warming spirit! Happy holidays!

Run of the mill Home Depot. Well organized and easy to navigate the inside of the store. Not like the old days where employees were actually knowledgeable about the products and their uses within their department and the parking lot is a nightmare to navigate but you can get what you need

So I’m closing on my house tomorrow. I selected online pick up was desperate as heck to get the stuff quick. Tai/tye got it to me in like 2 seconds. I’m forever grateful. He’s the man. The stuff wasn’t due for another hour or so, but he got it done. Give this dude a raise!!

This home depot seems to be very disorganized and the management is of no help ... I drove there to pick up new batteries for some of my m12 tools and I checked the store and online I was told there was 5 in stock could not find them and the store management was no help and could not provide a good explanation as to why they could not be located ... this is the 3rd time that this sort of thing happened 😔 wasted trip three times, hence the review

DO NOT sign anything the delivery drivers offer you if you are not 100% happy with things. They will lie about what you’re signing, insist it just means they came out, and refuse to help at all. Paid for 35$ washer hoses for the washer, they brought 5$ ones, (I looked up the item number.) they insisted it was our houses water connector and not the hoses, even though the old hoses worked. They wouldn’t give us back the old hoses, and refused to assist at all. And what do you know? The 20$ Amazon hoses worked perfectly. Never order anything from them if you can help it.

We tried to get new carpet from them but had to go somewhere else instead. They were scheduled to come out and measure and never showed. We rescheduled for a week later because they wouldn't fit us in sooner even though it wsd their mistake. The second appointment came around and no show again. Plus they charge a fee for the measuring which we now have to try to get back. Won't use them again

Really one of the worst Home Depot’s out there. I am in the process of remodeling my basement. And every time I go there it’s a new issue. Orders picked wrong, orders that could not be filled after the order has been placed, broken tools from the tool rental. On top of that, the cashiers have terrible attitudes. They acted as if I was a major inconvenience to them as I had waisted hours dealing with their issues.

The store was great but the delivery was horrible. I don’t know if they use multiple service people. Got a fridge and dishwasher delivered. The people who came and delivered the fridge was very polite, nice, and on time. They called the night before with the time frame of 9-1. They came within that time frames with letting us know each stop and how many stops till they got to us. The dishwasher was unfortunately broken so they had to order another one. The guys who came and dropped that one off didn’t call the night before so i called the store and they told me 9-1. I called the store again at 12 making sure they were still coming because i didn’t receive a call the night before nor texts the day of. They came at 2:30. Very rude and unprofessional. I mentioned how rude they were and they were just even more rude. I let them know that if anyone should have the attitude , it should be me. I’m the one who waited all day for this. They were just more rude. They Left the place a mess under the sink and screws on the floor. I couldn’t of wished them out sooner.

Great customer service. I went to two different Lowes to buy a new washer/dryer. Both stores said they didn't have it and to keep looking. The first Home Depot I stopped in they also did not have it but immediately offered to order it for me. They made the whole experience super easy. (The Home Depot - Wallingford, CT)

My wife took me there for a father's day gift , a pellet grill/smoker according to the flyer "ALL GRILLS OVER $399 free assembly and delivery . Grill coast $734 asked before ringing it up if delivery was included was told yes. Associate rings everything up the was told assembly and delivery was only for propane grills only and delivery was $79 . Çrazy me thinking ALL GRILLS means ALL .

Came to find supplies to paint my kids rooms which I've never done before so I didn't really know what I had to look for but one of the workers was very helpful and made everything very easy. I will definitely be going back to them for future use.

Very racist cashier (Marleen)at Self check treats new employees that are Hispanic and black very bad and was on me and my mom the moment we walked to self check out .. Decided to scan for us and than over scanned told her to clear it I would do it myself. And as I said she did over scan . She stood over our cart with arms cross watching us scan and then says are you sure you scan everything then proceeds on counting my items and and checks the register like we are thief but other white people checking out and not one eye moves towards them .. Manager was standing just there allowing her to speak to us and the new employees likes that . Shows how racists the management is and how some employees get trained .. Wallingford Homedepo

The employees are always helpful and very pleasant to deal with. The store is always clean. The products are well stocked and 99 % of the time we are successful with locating the items we are looking for. For the most part the items are very affordable.

Friendly staff with encyclopedic knowledge of the store's layout. I hit the customer service counter when I walk in and they know exactly which part of which aisle has what I need. Without even looking at the app.

Staff is very helpful, but there are not enough of them on the floor. It's hard for me to walk far, so it's very hard when I have to walk to customer service for help, and then back to get what I need.

Do not recommend the tool rentals at Home Depot. I rented what was a broken piece of equipment, and have yet to receive my refund almost 3 weeks later. I recommend trying a local rental company, better prices, service and equipment.

Here we go, another huge corporation refusing to pay employees. I went to buy a couple of things and rather than having any registers open, they had six self-check kiosks with one girl who had to handle all six. My kiosk was not working properly so she had to come over and scan my items after entering a bunch of numbers in to the computer. What exactly is the point of not just having human beings working at registers? Be better Home Depot!

My husband's in here once or twice a week they need a husband lost and found area lol he just loves his place I like to go through the garden center there's something for everyone they even have the children's workshop which I think is awesome and go home depot

Always a pleasure going there especially the pros desk they're awesome George ,Todd ,and Brenda and the other two that work there I'm not sure their names got to help you get the day going with their laughter and smile as we joke around at times. This was meant for the Home Depot in Southington .

I go often to Home Depot and have rarely been disappointed by the staff. HOWEVER, Kim in flooring is always happy to help and Frank in plumping has assisted numerous times with finding me what I need regardless of the department and with great advice on how to do the job right. It seems like many people no longertake pride in their jobs but they truly do...THANK YOU!!!
