Marc was a pleasure to work with. He doesn't pressure you to buy and doesn't waste your time with a long sales pitch. I got multiple quotes and his was the lowest. But it didn't sacrifice quality. My wife and I purchased windows from Marc earlier this year and are very happy with the result. My favorite part of working with Marc is that he didn’t have a long high pressure sales pitch to try and convince me to buy like most of the franchised companies will. The installation was well done and the windows installed have made our home noticeably cooler compared to previous summers. We received five different quotes for our windows and our second lowest quote was 35% higher than Highland and fully four times lower than Andersen! I highly recommend working with Highland!

Marc was an excellent and very responsive communicator throughout the entire process! His pricing is fair and competitive and, as promised, there were no surprises from his end. His crew was thorough, professional and meticulous. We had all of the windows in our 1948 home (and 1960s addition) replaced at once. I get pretty anxious about having work done in our home, but Marc listened well, allayed my concerns and followed through on all of his commitments to us. Our house had some surprises and complications that arose during our window install and Marc's crew was very balanced and thorough in their response and in finding solutions. His team does beautiful work, which impressed me throughout the project. We did have a couple of issues arise and Marc addressed everything right away, even personally coming by each time to make sure everything was done to our satisfaction. Last year, after they had previously replaced some of our windows, Highland came back to replace our siding. They did a beautiful job. Our house looks so much better and we think will have a higher resale value. Our heating costs were lower last winter with the insulation they added. Honesty, integrity and professional in all aspects is how I would describe Marc the owner and his crew. We recently had Highland replace all of our windows a door and install new vinyl siding. We checked national window companies as well as a number of well known regional competitors including well known names based in West Hartford. I can’t rave highly enough about our experience with Mark, Neal and the whole Highland Window team. We contacted Mark in December to get a quote for replacing our original (1967) windows. His quote was competitive, and he was honest about what we did and did not need to replace. We signed with Mark quickly after the quote and expected the new windows to come in April. Our windows ended up arriving ahead of schedule and installation happened in mid March. We are THRILLED with the results. Our new windows look fantastic but so does the new trim that was replaced around the exterior windows and doors. The installation team was quick, tidy and super respectful of us as we are both WFH employees. Highland Window just completed installation of replacement windows throughout our entire home. The house was custom built in 1971 and all windows had to be custom ordered due to their shape and size. I had several quotes before choosing Highland including a couple of companies that seemed intimidated by the job. Marc was great to work with, honest, responsive, and checked in frequently during the process. His crew cleaned up after themselves daily, and the job was well done. Because it was such a large project, we carefully examined their work along with other companies in the area and collected competitive quotes. We were impressed with the number of positive reviews on Google and Angie's list and found that their personal attention, knowledge and pricing beat the other companies we evaluated. We are happy to report they came to do the job in the specified time frame, their installers were top notch, they did everything they said they would do and more and making sure their client is happy with the work is a priority for them. Highland Window Company just finished installing 30 windows in our 1931 Dutch Cape, and we couldn’t be happier!Several years ago, we had a different window company come to our house, take over three hours to give an estimate and the salesman would not leave unless we signed the contract, (the estimate was over $30K. ). We had to tell him to leave. It was not a good experience, so we did not pursue further until we reached a point where a stiff breeze was blowing through our living room last January.Our experience with Highland , specifically with owner Marc Cowan, was completely different. Marc spent 45 minutes chatting with us and looking around our house, showing us a beautiful sample window and giving us an incredibly reasonable estimate. He was so charming and personable, we didn’t want him to leave! No pressure, just a great quality window from an honest and kind business owner.Highland had our windows manufactured and installed within a month. The crew (Neil, Hilton and Tom) were neat, skillful, professional and gracious, installing 20 windows day one!!! Affordable price and super professional installation. Marc came to our house to give us an estimation and walked with us in and around the house several times to make sure all we need is covered and to assure that we are in sync. After saving us money on things we thought we need and didn't really, Marc gave us an estimation for the entire house. After the windows were manufactured for our house Highland company installed the windows in a no less than perfect way, while making sure that the insulation is perfect and that we are happy in every step they make. No compromise on any of the installation steps or quality - the team cleaned daily during and after they finished their work, collected the old fixtures and left a clean house with new windows, installed to perfection. Thank you for a great job. You are the best!!!

Highland Windows just completed replacing 9 windows in our 4 bedrooms. We chose the Harvey Majesty windows, as these seemed the best at matching our colonial house. The overall job was six weeks from order to completed installation, which was great. The install took two days, and the workers cleaned everything up quite well each day. During the installation, we asked them to do a couple extra things for us, which they were happy to accommodate! Overall a great job at a fair price (we shopped around before we picked Highland). Great company to work with.
