It feels like we’re on vacation each time we use our new patio by LGE Services. Lou and his crew are terrific — they’re reliable, they showed up every day, cleaned up at the end of the day, and kept us informed at each step in the process. And they’re flexible and focused on meeting your needs. They addressed drainage issues and a retaining wall, integrated the space with the current deck and pool, and created a wonderful cohesive design. We had some design tweaks as we went through the process and they worked with us to be sure we were happy with the outcome. We never imagined our backyard space could look like this! If anyone got water in their basement this past week with all the flooding, I need to recommend LGE Services. I had just had them doing some work in the backyard and putting in a drainage system and we are completely dry! They are great - fast, good clean up, so nice. Lou is great. Highly recommend.

LGE provided an experienced, courteous crew, careful workmanship and extras touches: improved grading to accommodate changing rain flow, matching existing portico height, consideration of existing plantings (see photo). Price was competitive, and the schedule timely. Lou G oversaw the project personally and has a harmonious rapport with his workmen.

We had LGE Services redo our old wood deck with Trexand add a raised patio. We cannot express how happy we are with the final product. Lou stated he would have it completed in less than 2 weeks and he was true to his word. We also took his advice on the layout and design and it was all perfect. Lou and his crew did an amazing professional job replacing our old wooden deck with Trex and added a new raised paver patio. A new walkway and railings too! The back yard outdoor living space doubled and looks like something out of a Betters Homes and Garden patio shoot! The professional daily clean up, re-seeded the lawn in the work area and daily progress reports were highly professional. We highly recommend LGE services ! LGE was involved in multiple facets of a major renovation on my 120 year old house. They did excavation for an addition; grading and seeding, paver and walkway installation topped off by paving the driveway and installing a new sidewalk. All options were clearly explained up front, work was expertly done within the promised time frame. I'd highly recommend LGE for any and all of these areas of outdoor construction work.

LGE has constructed two seawall projects, a garage demolition and the subsequent building of a new one on the same footprint. In all these projects we had a pre-agreed price which was never adjusted for any reason. This alone is likely unique in the construction/excavation business. Lou began all projects on time and the finish point was pretty well on time as well. We dealt effectively with state and local regulators especially regarding the seawall which could have easily gotten out of hand. My previous experience with contractors of similar type services has not always gone smoothly to put it mildly. My experience with LGE is however one that I can recommend without reservation. In fact we have become close friends after the projects were completed which I would say would not be a common result from most persons experience in such projects.
