We selected Arnold Co roofing recently to replace the roof on our 104 year old house with a field stone chimney which developed a leak from the heavy rains last Dec. Kris was prompt in coming out to review our situation and spent quite a bit of time asking us questions about our concerns. His proposal included what we discussed as well as details we hadn't thought about. He was not only reasonable with his estimate but went above and beyond. We decided to replace our gutters the day he started the job and he had his crew tear them off and haul them away. Our big concern was with the chimney's copper flashing. He took pictures to show us the before and after, crafting copper replacement flashing in his home shop. It was obvious his crew had spent time working together. The whole roof was stripped, new plywood put on a second story with 6 dormers, underlayment and shingled in 2.5 days. They took great care to clean up completely each night. Kris is someone who loves what he does and it's reflected in the outcome of this project, attention to detail that made a real impression upon us.Highly recommended!

Arnold Company is the best!! We have had many contractors do work on our home over the last 40 years, and we have never had a better contractor for anything. Kris replaced the roof on our house and then did our horse barn 2 years later. He responded within hours to our calls, did a beautiful roofing job within the time frame he gave us, and cleaned up each day. The quality of his work and attention to detail exceeded all our expectations. His crew made sure that there was not even 1 nail left on the ground around the barn that the horses could step on. He installed a replacement skylight in our house and did extra work with the interior trim to make sure it matched exactly to the existing trim. He had suggestions for fixing some problems with the dormers on our house, and the dormers looked great when he was done. Kris is a real pleasure to work with, and we highly recommend his company.

A very positive experience! Kris knows his craft very well. He answered all our questions throughly and made suggestions during the research process. He provided different vendor material options at very competitive prices, we got three estimates to compare. He was flexible to our schedule.The only suggestion for improvement would be warning how messy adding a roof vent would be in both the garage and attic spaces below. We would have covered/moved the cars, and the items we store there. It was challenging to clean up after completion.Overall great...thank you.

The job was done in the blink of an eye with almost no disruption to our lives and home. So nice to find a contractor who does the work as promised in the time frame promised. How do you select a roofing contractor? We wanted someone with a proven track record and years of experience. Someone who knew not only the minimum building code requirements, but understood that as each roof is different, so is the approach to flashing and valleys and potential ice dams. We also wanted someone who was local and who we knew would stand by their work. As we asked around we were delighted to find that in this area there were quite a few roofing contractors who met our requirements. We are very pleased with our choice of Kris Arnold. He did a fabulous job. The site was kept and left very clean and the work was done quickly and efficiently. We purchased a new cupola with weathervane and they prepared it and installed for no additional cost. The roof looks great and should give us years and years of protection our New England weather.
