When I called Father & Son Painting to schedule a quote to paint the main living area in my condo, which included an 18 ft. wall, Matt was available to visit my home the very next day. I usually get multiple quotes for home projects, but after meeting Matt, I did not feel the need to call any other painters! He is a genuinely nice guy who clearly takes pride in his company and the work he does. The price was affordable, the crew was professional, and the painting was perfect! Matt and crew did an amazing job on our 1938 West Hartford condo! It had not been painted in 30+ years and the plaster walls & ceilings were in bad shape with peeling paint, stains and cracks. They spent 2 whole days scraping, filling and skim coating the walls, ceilings and trim prior to painting then did multiple coats of paint on every surface. They did 3 different wall colors throughout the condo and painted all the trim and ceilings a bright crisp white using Benjamin Moore paint. The results were AMAZING! The condo looks brand new and every surface is flawless and fresh. It looks like we put in all new walls and the old dingy ceilings are bright and clean. They even caulked all the trim and it looks fantastic. The new paint really highlights all the vintage charm in our condo. I am overjoyed with the results and I highly recommend Matt and Father & Son Painting from Wethersfield. He was referred to us by a previous customer who also has a vintage home and she was right, they do great work. I felt the price was very fair for the work that they did over the last 5 days and I highly recommend them for any job that you have, but especially if your walls, ceilings and trim need a little extra TLC.Services: Interior painting, Drywall repair

We can’t say enough good things about this company - Matt and his crew of 3 went way above and beyond painting our 1850 farmhouse. We had spent the last year repairing and restoring the exterior, and they came in earlier this month to paint every square inch of it - trim, siding, doors, porch columns. They were meticulous in their prep work (scraping, sanding, washing, caulking) and it shows - the final paint came out fantastic! They were all professional, kind, and hardworking. Matt also repaired some trim we couldn’t reach, and coordinated with another contractor to have the gutters installed. Our 1939 English Tudor had complicated peeling and textured plaster walls. Matt and Christian are masters of their craft and were able to repair, skim coat and paint our front foyer, back staircase, master bedroom/bathroom/closet, living and dining rooms.
