We were incredibly excited to have our bathroom redone. I did find it a little strange that the sales people spent two hours with us, mostly talking about their success rates and their Google reviews, going so far as to make us leave them a review before we agree to work with them. We were reassured that the process would be incredibly simple, finished in 4 to 5 days, and we would not have to worry, as my wife and I work full-time jobs and we are also the owners of four reactive dogs. In order to ensure the dogs were out of the house, we were really hoping for the clear line of communication that was promised to us by the sales people. Our first demo day was on a Monday, and the plumber showed up. When he reached out to the Demolition team, he was told that they were never told about the demo, and it was their day off, and they would not be coming in. Because of that, the plumber obviously had to leave. At 1 PM on Monday, after being told there would be no demo, a member of the demo team showed up, and was completely unaware of the circumstances, going as far as telling us that we should’ve received a call about this. We had received no calls about this and at the end of the first day, the schedule maker reached out to ask to ask about how the demo went, and she had absolutely no idea that no work had been done. There was no apologies, there was no ownership of what had happened and her attitude was very much like “oh well, stuff happens”. The second day, after we were told that work would be between 8 and 12 PM, one of the demolition men showed up at 6:45 and did not understand that we needed a little bit of time to get our dogs ready and out of the house. He spoke very little English which I won’t hold against him, but it did make communicating to him very difficult. By the time we were able to leave our house at 8:15, a few more gentlemen had shown up. However, they only did two hours of work, and in the process put a hole through my living room wall. Mind you this was a bathtub remodel. They have no said anything about fixing said hole. They left by about 1030. Around noon time the plumber came in and did his piece, and was gone in about an hour and a half. On the third day of this remodel, no one reached out to us, no one spoke to us, and we were still waiting on an inspection. On the fourth day, the inspector did come, spent five minutes looking at the work that had been done and left. We did not receive any communication from anybody, and we even reached out to the schedule person at this time. Several calls have been made to Long Home products, with concerns about the lack of communication and concerns about how this was impacting our week. At this point we have missed almost an entire week of work, have had no bathroom, and have had endless promises that someone would reach back out to us about this. Today is the fifth day of the remodel, we have still received no communication and while I was able to reach out to the customer service team, they very quickly put me on a hold, To anybody else, but I am paying a lot of money, to have a remodel done that I was promised would be free, especially given the deposit I had to make at the time of purchase. The monthly payment I will be expected to make on this, for the next 10 years, is a slap in the face given the level of care and customer service that was delivered to us. I cannot in good conscious recommend this service to anyone. Stay away from Long Home.

I called Long Roofing Because my roof was leaking. Our neighbor recommend them because they purchased a roof several years ago with Long. It ended up leaking due to an issue with the chimney. Long replaced the entire roof at no charge. No questions asked. The rep you came to my house, Anthony Savoy, was polite, courteous, very well informed and very thorough. He walked us through the entire process of how the roof would be installed, the materials to be used and most importantly the non pro rated warranty. While we are aware we can get the roof cheaper, we prefer to have it done correctly so we can move on to other projects and not have to revisit the roof later. I highly recommend Long and Anthony specifically for making this process easy.

Very clean, punctual, and charismatic.he put my mind at ease when we went over pricing and explained everything without making me feel rushed or pressured to make a decision on my wants and needs. Kyle was my representative and he is very knowledgeable of the company, materials used and overall process. I appreciate the attention to detail and time taken to answer my questions. I didn't feel pressured to make a decision (which is helpful at times like these). Overall has been a great experience, looking forward to the finished job.

This review is about the windows consultation. James and Essar did an excellent job presenting the windows products and teaching us about the heat mirror technology in their windows. I would absolutely hire this company to install my windows. Since my financial situation right now is not the best, I can’t move forward with the 4 window project, but as soon as I am more financially stable, i will call them for sure! Great job guys, especially James, he covered every single detail and made this presentation a pleasurable experience!

Had Harrison Mitchell and Anthony Savoy out to my home to provide an estimate. However, have you ever had a sales person that refuse to provide you with their business card or contact information? Well I did when Long Home Products representatives came to my home to give me an estimate for a full roof replacement. When I asked for his business card, his response was something like I'll give it to you if you are going to give me the business. Really. All along I told them while their prices was higher, that price was not the only deciding factor and I was not making any decision on the spot. When I asked him if this is the way that they operate in refusing to provide business card if a customer does not sign up immediately, he then tried to spin it that he didn't mean that. I know clearly what was said and didn't need someone with that attitude in my home wasting my time any longer so I told him for us to call it a wrap. Their whole house roof replacement price on standard shingles with roof size of 21 squares was over 200% higher compared with companies of similar size. They really want to make high profits or are just out of touch with the local market. I guess people are sucked in with their sales pitch. To each their own.

I've never left a review for a company before, but I am so incredibly disappointed with their work that I hope I can prevent this from happening to someone else. We checked out a couple of other companies and even signed a contract with one, then the salesman from Long came out and my husband and I were so impressed with their products and guarantees that we willingly signed a contract with them for 10k over the other contract. It was about 6 wks before the job started, but that was just great for us. It all went downhill from there. The roofers arrived at 7am in a nondescript, and a bit rough looking van. We expected something that would at least say "Long", but no worries. We weren't told that they sub sub contracted jobs but we figured they were trained by the company. The 2 guys climbed out of the front and 3-4 guys piled out of the back (no seats back there!). Was a bit like a clown car; they just kept popping out! Our first clue that this wasn't going to go as planned was that they had only 1 ladder for 5-6 guys to completely replace a roof. My husband gave them 2 of ours to use. My husband was home for the day just in case anything else was needed, but just pretty much hung out inside. He did put out a big table of water and snacks for the crew because they were moving along quickly! When I got home and we walked around the house, I know why it was quick. None of the rows of shingles were straight, the flashing around the chimney didn't cover the whole roof, the siding they replaced on a dormer window was actually on upside down! They tried to use a dryer vent on the roof to vent the bathroom fan. My husband sent the lead guy to the store to get the right vent. I don't know much about construction, but my untrained eye saw more issues than I could imagine. My husband was furious and I was in tears. I couldn't believe they charged us 25k for something that looked like a child could have done. My husband called them immediately and demanded a supervisor come out and inspect the job as we were far from satisfied. The supervisor was here for about half an hour and told us they would be replacing the roof since it was so poorly done. Great, I'm feeling relieved at this point. The project was delayed, but surely they would get it right the second time on their dime. Hmmm. The roof has been re-replaced. The shingle job looks much better. The flashing they applied leaves a bit to be desired (not securely attached in some areas and some gaping so the plywood shows) but we can work on that ourselves. It's now been a week since the job was completed. The dumpster is still in our driveway and the main power line from the street to the house that was unattached to do the flashing is still hanging off the house and sagging lower every day. We've called the supervisor twice who has reassured us this will be fixed immediately. Now he seems to be dodging my husband's calls. I'm so incredibly disappointed and feel we were sold a bill of goods. We most definitely didn't get 25k worth of roof! I would most definitely recommend using any other company. I wish we would have gone with the first contract we signed but it's too late at this point. Needless to say, we're not having them touch the siding or windows! I really wanted to be happy, but I'm just not.UPDATE: So, after my post, we received a call, and the first thing out of the guy's mouth was "what can we do for you so that you'll take your review down. It's hurting business". He also wanted to "reassure" us that the crew who did our initial roof will not be used by them as our roof was their "third strike". Seriously?!? The fascia that was replaced but that repair wasn't acceptable either (the roof boards are actually showing in places and it's not solidly attached so now it's wavy). We called back again and were told they would come and replace the fascia. Ok, fine. After 2 weeks of no contact, my husband called and was told our job wasn't even in their books. Were they counting on us to forget or not bother to call?? Unhappy is an understatement.

Met with Shawndel Evans for a shower replacement. Very knowledgeable, respectful, and professional. While we eventually arrived at what I felt was a fair price, there was pressure to sign "today". You need to be able to walk away unless you receive a fair price. Do your homework first. I'll follow up with further comments once the job is done

Absolutely horrible experience! For the two hours I had to sit in my own home feeling completely uncomfortable, I didn't know if I was in a therapy session or in a training program. All I wanted was a quote on my roof! And then when I finally got that-the price was utterly ridiculous!! My husband had to finally ask the two sales guys to leave and when they did they walked out never said thank you or goodbye. And to top it off they took off at an extremely high speed with tires screeching (on our one way school zone 25 mph road) and threw a soda can out the window. Never again and I really do not understand how your company has been in business for 80 years. The original Mr. Long who started with fencing would be ashamed of what his company has become!
