I feel like the fact that I checked all of the boxes above speaks for itself. Recovery Restoration was recommended by the water mitigation team and was just about the best contractor experience we have ever had. Matt and his team were responsive, proactive, professional, reasonable and did the job quickly and with a smile. Any bumps were handled by collaboration and overall, I just can't believe they got all of our work done "on time and under budget". Everything they did looks great to the point of "exceeds expectations". Thanks so much to Matt and his team for making what could have been a very trying experience simple and easy. ....If only we could say as much for the insurance company and the bank....I have to say that the biggest thing that seems to be lacking with many contractors is regular, meaningful communication. Matt reached out often to update us even if we didn't ask for an update. He also was incredibly considerate, trying to always let us know exactly when workers were going to show up and finish. We had a bunch of different things going on at one time, so this was no small task......so grateful for your excellent service!! We will be calling you if we need work done in the future!!

We were so lucky to be put in touch with Matt and Recovery Restoration after a plumbing failure led to considerable damage in our first floor. I would strongly encourage anyone to contact Matt if you experience home damage and need an experienced estimator and reliable contractor. He wrote an extremely detailed estimate that helped ensure that our insurance reimbursement was commensurate with the degree of the damage. From there, he worked with us to restore and enhance the spaces that had been damaged, and we literally couldn't be happier with the result. Throughout the process, he was communicative, reliable, and empathetic. He emailed weekly summaries of work to be done and what to expect, and was responsive to call and texts with questions or observations. He and his crew treated our home like it was their own, and the quality of their work and the work of Matt's subs is very good. When my mom's house suffered damage from a basement water leak, Matt and Recovery Restoration came highly recommended to me by a friend who needed a basement remodel for the same circumstance. She described him as professional, reliable, timely, and most importantly, easy to work with. He has experience with insurance claims and he takes care of the haggling with the insurance company. Matt and his crew proved to be as professional and skilled as my friend had described. Recovery Restoration rebuilt the entire finished portion of the basement. Matt also suggested other small updates going up the stairs so the entire area looked new. We recently sold this home, and the basement reno added thousands of dollars in value to the sale price instead of being a large minus factor.Additionally....When we were readying the home for sale, there was an area of rot from water damage. Matt could have turned this into a decent sized job by replacing some wood then having to prime and paint the area. Instead, he patched the area.
