We can’t say enough good things about A. Parker Contracting!We had purchased a home that advertised “new” siding. Turns out the previous owners had painted over the old vinyl siding, and it started to buckle and separate in the summer heat. We did not expect to have to re-side the house within our first year, but it had to be done.From start to finish, both Al and his team were great to work with. During our estimate walk through, Al offered some design suggestions which we ended up taking (so glad we did). Their low pressure approach and fair pricing made them stand out. After stripping off the siding, we found old termite damage in certain areas. Issues mid-project often lean in favor of the contractor (it has to get fixed), but Al did not take advantage or up charge us. We found his quote to address the damage to be reasonable.The crew was friendly and hardworking, and they did a great job of cleaning up the yard at the end of each day.Overall, we’re very happy with the services provided. They stand behind the work they do and they have fair pricing.We had water coming down chimney breast in attic (pictured) and could hear it dripping behind our bedroom wall. Reached out to several roofers and Al responded first offering to come out the same afternoon since they were in the area.He explained the flashing could be the issue and went into detail about how step flashing can cause this type of leaking if not done properly. I also pointed out missing facia behind our roofline gutter, which he explained was not properly tucked into the drip ledge when installed by someone else years ago, which caused the wood to rot and gutter to sag over time.They came out later in the week and did the work. They provided pictures of the damaged wood and all details so I was confident they assessed the cause accurately, which gives peace of mind. Al mentioned the mortar on our chimney crown showed cracking and that it’s a small fix that could be causing the leaking as well.During the recent major storm I noticed the same leaking in the chimney so they came back out next day and addressed the cracking crown.

Parker company and He began to access the damages and had started a quote for the job. Long story short we were more than satisfied with our repairs to our home. We would recommend anyone that wants top notch professional work and done in a timely manner We strongly recommend A. PARKER ROOFING AND CONSTRUCTION COMPANY. Even when the job is complete they stand behind all their work and will do what ever is necessary to make sure that the customer is more than satisfied with the outcome 😉

Alex is absolutely someone you want in your contact list! We bought a home in 2019 and he had already put a new roof on two years prior. We recently had some water coming into our living room and (through the previous owner) I was able to track Alex down to see if he would be willing to come see if it had anything to do with the roof he installed 7 YEARS AGO. Not only did he send a team of four guys out to diagnose the issue, they repaired it on the spot. It was unrelated to their install and he was still willing to do that all these years later. It has already rained four times since they were out and I haven’t seen a drop of water come in since. He is a man of amazing character and they do great work as well! HIGHLY RECOMMEND HIM!

They installed a new roof on my home, and did a wonderful job. Initially, they stripped everything off down to the wood substrate. They identified, photographed, and replaced bad wood at several locations. They provide photographs so you can see why there is a need to perform that extra work. One can not accurately identify/estimate how much substrate will need to be replaced until it can be visually inspected. Previously I had several other roofers give me a total roof replacement estimate. They were all markedly higher than Al Parker and, for the most part, weren't going to install all of the items need for a first-class roof. Their quanity estimates of how much substrate wood was in need of replacement were all over the place. Until you uncover it and can inspect it, you really don't know how much has to be replaced. To summarize, A. PARKER CONTRACTING did a first class job, used quality materials throughout, and was considerably less costly than the other roofers who gave me an estimate. Highly recommend!

Al came right away and gave me an estimate and was helpful with suggestions. The workers were very efficient and worked hard and were very careful of the surrounding area of the house. They cleaned everything up when they were finished! They did a beautiful job. I intent to hire them again for outside painting of the house! I highly recommend them!

Of 3 contractors that I got quotes from, Alex offered the most practical and effective solution to my roof/gutter/drainage issues. I expected that his bid would be the highest based on all the work that he suggested was needed. Instead, his bid was comparable to others who offered half-baked solutions using inferior materials.The work was completed in a timely, professional way, and Alex was always available to answer questions and provide oversight of the job. I want to start how I first came to use this company. Maybe 10? years ago, my neighbor noticed that my ridge vent was off and we were expecting a storm. I contracted A. Parker based off of a Facebook recommendation. It was late in the day and he didn't have a crew available. But he came himself that night (NIGHT) and went on the roof and tarped it off. He fixed it the following day.Move forward a few years, and it was time to replace the original roof. Based on my earlier experience with this company, I knew I wanted them to do the work. The job went smoothly and I was very happy. He also replaced some of my gutters (I had a small tree growing out of one!) and have fixed some siding issues I had after I removed an awning.Today, I noticed some storm damage where some shingles were loose. Even though I said it wasn't an emergency, he had his crew here within an hour of me calling. Granted I know this may be just a slow day, but in my past experience, he is so professional and reliable. I will absolutely recommend this company to anyone who needs a contractor - especially a roof. Alex is the best! I don't think I would have gotten this type of service from other companies. Mr Parker, senior, was always very courteous and communicative. His work washing and painting my home’s exterior and deck, as well as first replacing some deck boards, went above and beyond expectations! Finished in 3 straight days with the same men each day, keeping a very fair schedule. These men left the place so you could not tell they’d been there except by their detailed and lovely work! This was, by far, the best contractor I have worked with in my 30 years of home repairs and a large renovation/addition. I highly recommend Mr Alex Parker!!

In a nutshell: fast, prompt, efficient, friendly, tidy, careful, capable, reliable, and reasonable. Would use them again in a minute.To give more details, we had been looking for a roofer for quite some time to no avail. And while we had a number of other things that needed to be done--some exterior painting, interior water damage repair, installation of a front step and railing, and moving a new mattress and base to a third-floor bedroom from the outside (the mattress delivery men couldn't get it up our narrow, winding staircases)--we never dreamed that we could find a roofer who could also do all of those other things, too!Al came to the house and we showed him what needed to be done. A couple of days later we had a very detailed estimate. The work took about three days. Each day he sent the same crew--Oswaldo, Pedro, and Josmar. The guys were prompt, friendly, efficient and overall a pleasure to work with. They also cleaned up afterwards. Our house has two additions so we actually had three different roofs put on, and we couldn't believe how quickly they got them all done--and they look great! As well, our newly painted front doors and window trim look amazing. We are so pleased with not just the outcome but the entire experience of working with Al and his team. At the end Al said to be sure to get in touch if we ever need any other work done, even if it's just getting something upstairs again. They also do interior work during the winter months. We highly recommend Al Parker General Contractor for any kind of work you need to have done. Their slogan, "One call does it all," is totally accurate. I contracted “A Parker Contracting” Company today to fix Ridge Vents Cap which was blown off due to a rain storm from the other day, their sevice was excellent and the guys performed a thorough check and did caulking to all roof pipes. Overall we are very satisfied by their work, also Parker gave us a one year warranty. We hope we will not have any issue with at least that part of the roof. Great Job! I highly recommend their company.

They did a job for my neighbors and they reccomended them to me. We had them give us an estimate. They showed up on time and there price was competitive with the others we received. We had a new roof installed and new gutters. The laborers were nice and when we had questions they explained what was going on. Its very difficult to trust contractors for us cause we had bad experience before. So we were tuff on choosing the right guys. I must say they were perfect for us. They gave us very detailed estimates on both jobs. When the guys started the work we questioned some of the materials and things. The laborers explained it and made us feel like we knew everything that was happening. I don't typically write reviews but the whole job and process was smooth and easy to deal with. The new roof is great I waited till we had a heavy down poor before I wrote this review. No more leaks in the roof and the gutters are functioning properly. So its safe to say they done us a fantastic job I highly reccomend these guys.

We had a great experience with Alex and his crew! We purchased our fixer upper almost five years ago. It has Cedar Plank siding and we expected a lot of issues, which we got. The best part about Alex is he is easy. He is easy to work with, he easily helps you problem solve to fit your budget, and he helped me relax and not stress so much as issues cropped up - such as wasps nest in the house behind the chimney, a lot of rotted boards, and an entire wall that hadn’t even had vapor barrier applied and needed to be replaced. Alex would swing by and check in on things every other day or so, or if I needed him. He was very responsive and attentive. His crew, who were here every day, were great to work with even when I changed some colors around or otherwise switched things up. Friendly and respectful when I had questions, needed suggestions, or just some reassurance. We had a big job here, it took two weeks in 95+ degree temperatures. Weather alone is enough to make anyone lose their minds. Not these guys. These guys never lost their cool or their cheerfulness. I respect that a lot.The reason we picked A. Parker Contracting has a lot to do with how he presented himself while reviewing the house for the estimate. I’d done some research on how things should happen, and he answered my questions about his process but he also explained how and why he would do certain things and when. Not all the contractors who came out to bid would do this. He wasn’t the lowest bid but he wasn’t the highest bid either. He wasn’t trying to ‘sell’ me.At the end of the day and at the end of this project I think they did an outstanding job. It is obvious they just want their customer’s home to look great and for them to be happy.
