Sea Light did an excellent job with my renovation. From a newly designed master bath, walk-in closet, washer/dryer room, new lighting, stair bannisters, carpet, ceiling fans and even a custom designed accent wall in the living room with built in TV, electric fireplace, and hand crafter wood mantle. They were always in communication, making suggestions and pointing out issues to make my home the best it could be. I highly recommend their work!

As Sea Light Design & Build and I began the renovation journey I was full of emotions… what ifs… and how on earth will our shared vision come to life!!!! The complexity of the project was beyond anything I had ever attempted. The goal was to take an adorable small cottage built in 1972 and:...move the house to a newly created lot on the property;create an entry, garage and fully enclosed 1st level;...create 2nd level with bedrooms, bathrooms, laundry room, living area, closets and amazing EZ Breeze porch;...lift and renovate the original home to the third level while maintaining a seamless look inside and outside!So in a nutshell lots of new mixed with renovating the old.We started with the design phase. Chuck and Mario were insightful, thoughtful and collaborative as we worked through the complexities of maintaining my desire to keep the ‘cottage’ and design the new. They patiently guided us through numerous reiterations of the design to ensure our vision was captured in the final plans and costs. All while talking through the process so we were clear on the path ahead.Next came the move and construction phases. Sea Light’s Project Manager, Brendan, fully engaged with us, encouraging our involvement across every element of the construction phase. Brendan is solution oriented, has a keen eye for detail and space utilization and is an out of the box thinker. His ability to communicate complex details in a simplified way enabled conversations that were foundational to making some key pivots in design as the project evolved. Brendan's inclusive, thoughtful and collaborative nature provided space for real discussions and quick decision making. His engagement and familiarity with the team of contractors throughout the build process was one of mutual respect.Katie was creative, responsive and streamlined the design selections. She provided her insight and expertise as we chose colors, materials and decided on options. A joy to work with!!!Karen made sure that the financial aspects of the project were clear, on time and made the exchanges seamless!!!The final product is a dream home beyond anything I had ever envisioned! I continue to be amazed by the craftsmanship; the relationships created along the way and many years of enjoyment to come.

Our house at Bethany Beach, DE is built on piles (stilts) as are most houses on the shore. We contracted Sea Light Design-Build to construct additional living space below the house. Sea Light was extremely creative and collaborative in coming up with a plan to add a living room (with a gas fireplace), game room, work out area and a full bathroom. It was a difficult project in that the foundation had to be raised to be sufficiently above the flood plain, and the entire deck above the space had to be removed (and later replaced) to put in a roof - no small feat. We are ecstatic with the end result which totally met our expectations, and which included many finishes and special touches recommended by the team. The living space and functionality of our house has been significantly increased. In particular, our Project Manager Brendan was always available and responsive. He took full responsibility in making sure everything was completed according to plan, and that the work was of the highest quality. As with all projects, there were challenges and some delays, but Brendan pushed and got the space ready for our big family summer vacation. We couldn't be happier.Service: Home addition construction

Said my job was too small for them. I have a 635 sqft wrap around deck on front of my house. Needs to be totally taking down and rebuild new one . Shared this didn't have to be done til this winter early during. Just needs to be done by Memorial weekend. Also need a new kitchen door . Love these companies that snub these so called small jobs. It's a great in between job. Oh well
