The home we purchased is a beautiful home, and exactly what we wanted. However, the management in charge of the paperwork/inspection/scheduling process was a nightmare. We had to call several times to ensure deadlines were met, after the fact that we missed some deadlines which costs us, the buyer, more money. Once the house was finished, there were many things still needing to be installed (cabinet handles and light fixtures for example) which took multiple trips from the punch list crew to install. Everything form crooked hinges and loose nut and bolts are still found 3 years later. I highly recommend choosing another builder.It’s not worth the added stress.

We chose Donoway Homes as our builder after visiting a lot of places and Robert was the most knowledgeable person by far. He laid out our options and visited our site that day. The staff was so welcoming and friendly as well! We have just started the process but so far we are in great hands with Donoway!

The website seems to forever be on the fritz (can't see not a single floor-plan) and it took days to get a real person on the phone through Delmar location number (called during weekday and normal business hours).

Looks to be a decent builder/company to work with. In comparison to some other local builders I've met with they didn't not include as many "free upgrades" for similar cost such as better insulation in the roof, 9 ft ceilings vs. Standard 8 ft, and 4.25" base trim vs standard, this being in addition to upgrades utilities compared to basic commercial/builder grade and warranties.Donaway homes seems to be priced competitively if you decide to go with a sub 200k home though
