Extremely fast scheduling and work. The work was solid and the cost was affordable. It only took 2 hours for the roof repair which included a new skylight and exhaust vent. In addition to this, they went the extra mile to clean out our gutters and roof. Excellent work!

Hernandez is an excellent company. They came to my home in a timely to provide an estimate of the roof repair work we needed completed. The estimate was detailed and the cost ended up being the best most cost effective estimate we receive. They scheduled the date to do the work but weather in December ended up causing them to reschedule which was fine. They promptly called me letting me know of the date change. On the scheduled date they came and performed the work as promised. Their work crew did an excellent job, cleaned up the work site and even used their leaf blower to clean leaves off our driveway. Since their work we have had no further issues with roof leaks. I would 100% use Hernandez again for any work I need to have done for which they specialize in. We could not have asked for better service from Hernandez Contractor. Noel was the most polite person who came to look at our roof and provide an estimate. Having been in the construction industry for 40 plus years and now too old to replace my own roof, I contacted the Hernandez family for an estimate and to have some minor roof repairs completed prior to Hurricane season. The son (Noel) came out (on time) and completed a very through inspection and produced an estimate with every specific detail that an old "picky contractor" requested. A few days later the owner himself (Jose) came by to complete and addressed every concern identified during his son's inspection. Yes Jose did have to reschedule (once) to the following day (a Saturday which was likely one of the few days he was suppose to be off). CLEARLY understandable and acceptable because he is in such HIGH demand due to his excellent reputation and knowledge. The communication from his office staff (Tiffany, aka his wife) was more than what one would expect with text reminders of impending visits and personal phone calls when Jose realized he needed to reschedule and or if he was running late. Everyone, as other reviewers have noted, are professional, kind, and EXTREMELY helpful.The repair work that Jose completed was exactly what I wanted and done in a manner that I would have done myself if I were younger and able to do so. I have NO reservation of hiring his company to complete our upcoming re-roofing project in March of 2022. This day and age it is refreshing to find a contractor that is so conscientious, dedicated, and customer oriented as Mr. Hernandez. I was very pleased with Hernandez Contractor for my roof replacement and gutter installation job in Dewey Beach. They were very professional and did an excellent job. The project started with Hernandez using a drone to take videos of the entire existing roof, which was quite interesting and informative, clearly displaying the locations that were significantly deteriorated. The job was completed professionally, and the project site was left clean and in good condition. Following the roof replacement, and skylight installation in the outdoor shower, Hernandez sent me another drone video of the new roof, which looked great. At a later date, the gutters were installed, and likewise the job was well done. We recently moved to Delaware and purchased a 2 year old home and soon discovered we had a terrible roof leak. My realtor recommended Hernandez Contractor LLC to us. We immediately called and got an appointment with Jose, the owner in a couple of days. He was on time (actually early) and immediately found the source of the leak. Jose came back the next morning, earlier than my appointment because it was supposed to rain and he didn't want any further damage that had already been done to walls and ceiling due to the leak. Had work done by this company twice. Both times, they were available for work, able to make an appointment quickly to look at my problem, professional, friendly, fully explained the work needed and showed me photographs of the roof issue that I had, thorough in their performance, and gave me an itemized receipt with a guarantee of their work. Needless to say they were very reasonable in their pricing, charging less than what others had asked if others were even willing to bother with my small job, and I felt so well-served that I tipped an additional $20. This is actually the second time I had the opportunity to use Hernandez roofing. I had a storm blow some shingles off my roof and I called Hernandez as I had done previously. The repair was done in three days and they mailed me an invoice within five days. The service representatives are polite, courteous, and understand you want this done ASAP. Came to our house and made the proper repairs to our roof after a exhaust pipe blew off during a wind storm. They came just hours after we called and before the rains that afternoon. We have used Hernandez on two other occasions , very good office personnel they keep you informed about your job, and the field crews are fast , clean, and they know what they need to do to please the homeowner. Noticed a leak in our sunporch and called several businesses, Hernandez was the only one who could even take our call. Noel came to inspect and give estimate within 24hours. They were very thorough, professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and personable. Within one week Hernandez crew was on the roof and getting it done in two days. We are more than pleased with Hernandez Roofing on our Fenwick home. Mr. Hernandez climbed upon our roof for an initial inspection which another estimator only pulled in our driveway and sat on our porch (Lowes). We were not home when Mr. Hernandez stopped by but our neighbor witnessed his inspection from their house and informed us of the through inspection by Hernandez. His pricing was very fair.
