I bought my house a few months ago and with winter coming I wanted to use my woodfire fireplace. I called Chimney Cricket at first. They told me my fireplace needed almost $15K worth of repairs and scared me into thinking my fireplace was unsuable. I decided to get another opinion and called Josh. Josh was very professional when he came to my house to clean my wood stove and piping. Josh answered my request in a timely manner and came out the very next day. His competitors couldn’t come out for a few weeks. He also had the best price around. He did a great job cleaning and even removed 5 dead birds. He noticed that I was lacking mesh to prevent the birds from getting in so he said he would look for a cap that would fit my pip that had the screen on it.
