I had our entire roof replaced due to a hail storm that was fully covered by insurance. So obviously, happy about the insurance part. However, everyone at SmartRoof was number #1 professional. I never felt like I was being pressured nor pushed into something that I did not understand. Everyone was patient and willing to explain process and procedure. I had never had a home insurance claim before and they walked be through the process letting me ask the same dumb questions time and time again. They completed the work when they said they would and cleaned up when they were done. Would absolutely recommend them to anyone and have already recommended to a coworker.

Smart Roof determined that our roof had hail damage from an earlier storm. Our house insurance validated that damage and agreed to replace the roof. The Smart Roof team started work stripping off the old roof on December 9th and finished installing the new roof before noon the following day. We are pleased with the new roof, which looks great and the job that Eddie's team did including working around numerous mature shrubs without causing any damage to them. Jose Hernandez, the Smart Roof Production Manager, inspected the installation at the conclusion of the project and found no discrepancies. Minimal left-over materials were neatly stacked for later collection, and he insured there were no stray nails left on the grounds around the house. All-in-all we are pleased with Smart Roof's performance and the quality of our new roof, and therefore recommend Smart Roof to others for roof replacement projects.Service: Roof installation

EXCELLENT WORK!!! My husband and I worked with SmartRoof to replace the originally installed roof of our 1978 home in Reston, VA. The entire process took sometime as SmartRoof had to deal for months with our insurance company, but the claim was ultimately approved and a new roof was installed in our home at no cost to us (besides the deductible).BRODY TUITE was OUTSTANDING and I will recommend working with him to anyone I care about. He was trustworthy, knowledgeable, persistent, and extremely responsive while dealing with our insurance company. Throughout the entire process, Brody kept us informed about the status, and only required my husband's involvement in a few occasions. Honestly, not only he got us a new roof, but he made the process completely stress-free. IAN CARLSON also deserves a shout out. He was the actual project manager responsible for overseeing the roof installation which happened timely and quickly.We're first time owners, have three smalls kids, and work from home in the middle of a pandemic. The idea of dealing with the insurance and replacing our roof was daunting, but SmartRoof made it extremely easy. The company did a great job in identifying the damage on the roof, working directly with my insurance company, and with the supervision and follow up with the work. The Project Manage, Jose, did a fantastic job of overseeing the work, doing the post inspection with me, and addressing all questions. Adam, the Project Meeting Representative, was very helpful and patient with us when picking out new tile brands and colors. Excellent service. The company was very well organized and efficient. From working with the insurance company, including helping with the inspections needed to ensure that all was covered by the insurance, to communicating every step of the process, to full installation of the new roof, their personnel was very professional, knowledgeable, and very easy to work with. I particularly appreciated the work of their Sales team, Rory and Davine, who were very effective (with no “hard sale tactics”) and knowledgeable of the work needed. The optional “add-ons” can be a little steep so recommend researching to ensure they are worth the extra “out-of-pocket” expense. Their communications, management of the project, and professional demeanor was spot on: friendly, professional, and efficient with all cost spelled out upfront. SmartRoof (Mark Whipple) approached our Church concerned that our roof might have hail damage as did our sister church about 8 miles away. He performed an inspection and felt there was damage enough to justify a new roof. We proceeded to file an insurance claim with SmartRoof's help advice when the insurance adjustor arrived. Mark and team worked with our Insurance carrier to get our claim approved. The final approved claim was higher that an the original insurance provider's estimate so without them we would have likely been pinched on funding. This same situation also occurred at our sister church. This is an area where having someone like SmartRoof working on your behalf is very valuable!The actual installation project was managed very well by Nevin Byrd of SmartRoof. Our very large job was completed over a two week period. We have a day care and food bank operating out of our Church and they went out of their way to accommodate some need - like making sure no roofing was done during nap time and drives were not blocked during one large weekly food delivery!!! The were great and did some unexpected trim work for us to make the new sky light installations really nice.We went from not knowing we had roof damage to having it done and being please in many aspects of SmartRoof's work and people. Because we had not had a claim in 5 years our deducible was waived by our insurance company - so our, into six figures, job cost us $0.Thank you Lord and SmartRoof!Services: Roof inspection, Roof repair
