They put a roof on our house twenty years ago, so we decided to use them again for another roof. The roof wasn’t leaking or anything. We just felt it was time. If that’s not a good endorsement, I don’t know what is. Good people, good business. My only complaint… Price seemed a tad high. But if it lasts another 20 years, I can live with that.

Great customer service is what comes to my mind when I think of McDavid Roofing. I needed a new roof or my home insurance company was going to cancel my insurance. I was referred to them by a neighbor of mine who had hired them to replace their roof. I contacted them and they were able to get my roof replaced before the insurance deadline. Christine and everyone involved were very professional, friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. The crew that replaced my roof answered any questions that I had. I have been saying for a while that “customer service” is a dying art. There are some places that have not forgotten how to treat their customers and one is McDavid Roofing. Poor experience.Delays that were unrelated to weather.Rude managers.Not sure about legality of workers.Unresponsive.There are plenty of roofing companies in the area. McDavid is not one of the better ones. Why pay top dollar for poor service?Service: Roof installation

These guys are wonderful. Very punctual, the whole crew acted as a team, the McDavids were on site and they cleaned up every day. I highly recommend this roofer to anyone in the Gainesville & surrounding communities. Oh, and their price was reasonable when compared to the 3 other estimates I got.. Thank you Chip( owner ), Chase ( crew forman, Christie ( office ) & all the crew.

After a deposit of $2500 & wait of over 6 months, owner shows up 1 day before start day for new roof install, looks and then to say he can't do it due to the brick paver driveway & pitch of roof. Unbelievable.
