I want to give a huge shout out and thank you to Wes Lewis and Retex Roofing Florida. A standing seam metal roof is extremely difficult to install and his guys did an unbelievable job installing my roof. I met with his guys and went up on the roof and checked their work daily and they did a flawless job. They hand cut every panel exactly to size and fit them together perfectly. They did all this without having to use one exposed fastener and therefore preventing any possible leaks. They gave me an incredible roof that will last a lifetime. And they did all this for $8K less than the other top notch roofers of North Central Florida. If you need any roof repair work or a complete replacement, whether it be metal or shingles, you will be glad you went with Wes and his team when it’s all done.

Excellent work… very professional. Their roofing crews were very careful with my gardens beds around the house while working. They provided ultra-rib 26ga sheet metal (polar white) for my roof and installed ridge vents for cooling my attic. My attic is 20-25 degrees F cooler since installed. I got multiple quotes of well-known companies in Gainesville, but I would not recommend anyone else.

Wes and Retex made our roof process a positive experience. We cancelled with another roofer after permits and all, so we could go with Retex. They were less expensive and felt like a more honest and better fit. We are grateful we put up with the hassle of switching, which Wes helped us through. We were not the easiest customer or project with that and adding the skylights and getting prepared for solar install. Wes was patient, upfront, and went out of his way in making sure we had the best value and quality. The guys did a great job, fixed some rotten areas and felt safe and comfortable to have working at our home.It's hard to find honest, reliable and quality work. From the estimate thru inspection they did an EXCELLENT job. My county permit department wasn't being helpful, but Wes and Adrianna got it straightened out and we got the permit that day. The crew was wonderful, they literally worked until dark and still managed to clean up every evening before they left. Even though I asked for a change in color for the vents we added...it was "no problem". They were such a pleasure to work with, no ghosting of phone calls or texts. Honest folks, doing a great job, for a very fair price. We have a pole barn that needed the old metal roof removed and a new metal roof installed. We also needed the front and back of the pole barn replaced. A lot of wood had to be replaced in the framework and a whole new metal roof installed, along with new metal and framework on the front and sides. The crew did beautiful work. They were very professional and payed very close attention to detail. It was obvious they take pride in their work. The finished product looked better than my wife and I had imagined. After getting a bunch of quotes for new gutters and an attic fan, we choose them. They weren’t the cheapest or the most expensive, but Wes gave the most details about how they were going to do everything and he was very patient answering all of our questions. My cat had been stuck on a roof for at least 16 hours, scared, wailing, and panting in the heat. When the fire dept wouldn't help, I started calling local roofers on a wing and a prayer, because it was a Saturday. Wes not only answered my call himself, he was kind enough not to burst out laughing at my request, and had a crew out to me and my stranded cat within hours. Everyone was pleasant and professional, keeping me apprised of their arrival time, and had my boy down in a flash. When I asked the head roofer what I owed him, he actually said "Whatever you think is fair." If these guys are half as good at roofing as they are at animal rescue, you'd be crazy to go to anyone else. Thanks for saving the day, guys!!
