We needed a new roof and got several quotes. Alan's Roofing pointed out things that the other roofers did not. Excellent customer service from David. We had solar panels that needed to be removed & the electricity disconnected prior to the new installation. Everything flowed through Alan's so that we did not have to contact numerous people. Job took 2 days. Excellent job from start to finish. Would highly recommend Alan's Roofing.

Alan's just finished my roof. They dropped the supplies onto the roof, the next day they started on the roof and it was done in less than 24 hours later. The dumpster was gone before I came home from work the very next day. The roof looks amazing. I am so pleased.

The team led by Project Engineer Mr. VSamaroo who was very detailed and methodical in hisapproach gave step wise explanation of how they were going to execute the project. This inspired confidence in their ability and integrity. On the day of the execution the installation team under the supervision of Mr. Javier worked as a well oiled machine witheveryone working diligently on their assigned tasks without theneed to take shortcuts to save time and money. I recently had to travel to Florida to help a family member in hiring contractors for some home improvements. We had 4 companies provide an estimate for roof replacement. Alan’s roofing was the last. (Sure wish they had been first!) 2 of those companies never even showed up for our appointment and the other company sent us a bid that was 3x the amount of the bid we received from Alan’s - for the same products! Alan’s roofing was professional and caring over the phone while scheduling our appointment and when the gentleman arrived he was empathetic to our situation and had immediate solutions. He learned our budget and our timeline and provided several options that fit our needs. We agreed on an option and just a few weeks later the crew showed up to perform the work. (What a great group of guys!) We had the pleasure of watching this energetic group of talented installers get straight to work. They covered our shrubs to protect them from debris and when the job was all said and done they walked around the house (multiple times) to make sure no nails or old tar paper were left behind. We are super happy with the new roof and the entire process-beginning to end. We will be sharing our experience with all of our family in the area for their future projects. This company was hands down the best in quality, customer service, price, timeliness and communication. We had many estimates, and shopped and researched extensively before choosing Alan’s and we are so happy we did. There was no song and dance at the estimate trying to sell us services and products. They were reasonable, straightforward, honest and gave us solid advice. They didn’t complicate matters; it was all easy. We got just what we needed. They were very pleasant while on the job and went out of their way to be sure we received excellent service and that we were happy. And when they left we had a solid, beautiful new roof and a tidy yard. This company has true integrity and takes care of its customers. There’s a reason these folks have been in business for a long time with a great reputation. We’ll use them for all our roofing needs and we give them our highest recommendation.

My roof was replaced by Alan's Roofing in Aug 2022.PROS: 1) once the roof was started, it took only two days to complete, 2) price was the lowest of all other companies 3) the roof looks niceCons: 1) I was told that I would be put on the schedule quickly as the shingles I wanted were already locally in stock (not true, still waited over a month for installation). 2) I had previously installed caps on my pipes to keep rodents out. Caps were destroyed by staff and could not be used again. 3) The dumpster was left in my driveway for an entire weekend after the roof was installed. I did not have access to my garage or driveway for the entire weekend. I was told a truck had trouble. Does this company have only one truck to haul the dumpster? Not acceptable customer service. This would not have been the case in any other neighborhood.Service: Roof installation

I contacted 5 or 6 Roofers. 3 of them responded quickly. I got quotes from 3 of the six Alan Roofing had the best price. They were professional and clean. After my roof roof was done I had an independent inspection done to get cheaper homeowners insurance. I think it’s called a mitigation report. Well my roof was in excellent shape. My sales man also gave advice on maintaining the roof. I would recommend Alan’s roofing Paul was the salesman.Service: Roof installation

I recently observed a roof leak. A man came out and informed my husband there were Missing nails and sealant in important areas with wood damage is what was observed but nothing has been done. They had actually put on my roof in 2016. Question this companies ability to follow through and cover the issues as I asked them to repair this leakage issue. They came back out and repaired the roof. Very well done. Thank you.

Had my roof done 9 months ago. After the hurricane that came by I noticed a leak in my living room. Gave them a call, and my original salesmen came to check it out. Come to find out it was my A/C the drain was clogged. He asked me if I had a shop vac and he then sucked the clog out of my drain. Saved me a $80 service call that's customer service. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

My issue is not with the work they did but the customer service and extra charge. Rudy( salesman ) was all sweet when I signed the contract. He explained that ANY costs above the quote would be clearly discussed with me before they proceeded. But once the ink was barely dry, he became rude and condescending in his manner. He would delay in returning my calls and would never give a direct answer when you did speak with him. My husband gave them the ok to for an additional $100. I get the bill after the job was done for an additional $1500!!!! We were told, "Oh there was more damage then we expected." The damage to the roof was CLEARLY visible with what needed to be replaced/repaired. In addition, they took NUMEROUS pictures. Unsure of why they state it was a "surprise to see more damage". We also had a delay as Alans pulled the wrong permit and the city caught them. The city made them stop the work to get another permit as well as have a structural engineer come to our home. I sent them a certified letter that I was NEVER informed of the additional cost of $1500. I requested NOT to be contacted by Rudy and wanted something showing I agreed to the additional amount. What did I get? A notice with intent to file a lien on my home! No response. No call. I left voicemail last night asking for a call back. Steve called me and left me a voicemail. ( I was at work ) and stated "we do this all the time".There is nothing to discuss, pay us in 10 days or we place a lien on your home. This is obviously a well rehearsed ploy to take advantage of people. Avoid this company at all costs or YOU will be the one with additional COST!

Alan's did a great job on my roof. Don't know what happened but I made the mistake of having them install my parents roof. Installed well beyond the promised date. The roof is warped because they didn't replace the existing wood during the install. Looks terrible and has pits where water can gather. They say nothings wrong with it. Actually had the nerve to send me an invoice for additional wood installed.

We had a small leak in our roof. I called them and they showed up to our house the same day. Rudy was very professional and nice. After a week or so I called them back to sign the agreement to start work. Rudy showed up that day. I was told it would be about 10 days. After a month of nothing, I called Rudy and he said they were a little behind because of rain. It may have rained for 4 days tops and not even for long each day. He said his boss promised it would be done on Friday or Monday. Wednesday came along and still nothing. I text him that I wanted to terminate our contract. He text me the next day and his boss called and said they would be here for sure. They showed up the next day and did the repairs.

I highly recommend Alan’s Roofing, Inc. and James Barone to anyone needing a new roof.Over the years, because of the age of my house, and hurricane damages (two storms) --they have put several roofs (pitch and flat) on my property. Recently, from “Hurricane Irma” damage, they replaced my house and pool house roofs. The crew did an excellent job, especially on the unusual shape of the pool house roof.The sales rep, James Barone is friendly, highly knowledgeable and very professional. From the beginning to the end of the process, James always promptly returned my phone calls and texts. In addition, because of his photos and communication with my insurance company, we were able to “reopen” my Hurricane Irma claim to include the roofs. He also was present for the re-inspection with the insurance adjuster.I am one very satisfied customer.

Sales rep Todd is a smooth-talking liar and took advantage of 80 year old senior citizens! He spent more than hour at my house talking with me and my wife and showed me a superior underlayment and gave me price quote for the indestructible product. I agreed and signed contract for installation.I waited a month before they showed up to my house to install. After many phone calls, he always had a different excuse why they were behind on their jobs. Finally they showed up unannounced a full month later to do the job.On the day of the job a different product was installed and now the company refuses to adjust price and says it is my mistake and that I ordered the basic underlayment! How could I have ordered the basic underlayment when I was never even shown the basic underlayment. He showed me the upgrade! This is classic bait and switch!Now Todd claims that I "don't remember" what I ordered. My wife and I were here with him, and we both saw the product he demonstrated, and we both agreed on it. How despicable of sales rep Todd to characterize us as not remembering because we are senior citizens.On the day of the install, I had an appointment and I was not aware that the installers used a different material as I was not at the house. Upon coning home I find out that the installation was not the correct underlayment. After calling the sales rep he claims that I never ordered the better underlayment and that this was my mistake. The material installed was never shown to me and was not what I ordered. I complained and he states that since I signed a contract there is nothing I can do.Stay away from Alan Roofing and especially their sales rep Todd spent.How could he spent more than an hour in my home showing me a superior roofing product, then I spent over a month calling him and waiting for the roofing installation ,and now the product installed was not what I paid for and it is my fault? Could it be that perhaps, the subcontractors picked up the wrong materials and now you want to cover your @ss and keep your commission????
