AMC roofing installed a new roof on my home in 2017/2018 after the hurricane hit central Florida that year. I worked with Tyler, and his crew. The communication was excellent every step of the way. I knew what was going on and everything happened exactly as planned.Everything was done right the first time and I was also offered an option to add a protective rubber coating to my roof, which I am glad I did. My roof is six years old and still looks brand new!It was a great experience. I highly recommend AMC roofing.

SHAM company! Took advantage of an elderly then didn't follow up on the warranty. Since their work we had 3 other companies look at it and even the roofing nails (which should be electro galvanized) were completely rusted through. Not supposed to happen on a roof recently done! As to the elderly be cautious when they tell you it would be paid for! Read your contracts! They sued my wife's grandmother after telling her it would be covered trying to take her home. During the proceedings the grandmother passed away leaving her heairs to resume the trials which resulted in 36k for a 900 sq. Ft. Patch at best.. I hope others come forth with their stories as well.. its saddening.

Tyler came out, inspected our roof, and immediately fixed the issue. There was an issue with our vent that was causing a leak. To do this he had to remove shingles and reseal them. He went ahead and sealed the holes that were in the vent, since he was already there. He did not charge us for this, however there was no way that we couldn’t pay him. Thank you Tyler!

After the 2016 hurricane, I selected Tyler and AMC to replace my damaged roof. They did a good job at that time, and for the next 5 years I had no problems with the new roof. However, in 2021, I like thousands of other Florida homeowners, found out that my homeowner's insurance company was leaving the state, and I had to find a new home owner's insurance company. The new company required a full inspection both inside/outside the home. The inspector was concerned about the status of some shingles on the roof, and although I passed inspection, he suggested that I contact AMC for a better inspection. I called Tyler, and he came out immediately, and performed his inspection. When he came down off of my roof, he informed me that he had some concerns about my shingles, and he had taken several pictures to send to the shingles manufacturer for their opinion.After not hearing anything from Tyler for a couple of months, I tried calling both his and the office telephones to get an update, and never got a live human voice. I left numerous messages on both phones over 2-3 months. I finally gave up calling until about a week ago. I had someone come to clean my gutters, and the gentleman was a former roofer. He told me that my shingles were dried, and losing excessive granules. Note - I had not mentioned anything to him about my shingles. He then asked how old the roof shingles were. I told him 7 years. He responded "they look anywhere from 12-15 years old". At this point, I decided once more to try to get Tyler & AMC's attention to please come out to check the roof? I just tried calling again this morning, (4th time over the last week) and still even after one year, cannot get a callback, or talk to a live person. At this time I am totally disappointed in AMC and it's lack of customer service.

We used AMC to have a new roof installed. Will was extremely professional and knowledgeable. He was patient with all of my questions and able to answer each one thoroughly. The materials were delivered quicker than I expected and the job was completed in a timely manner with excellent results. AMC Roofing was amazing from start to finish. Their Salesman, Tyler was very prompt and knowledgeable. He was engaged in answering every question I had and made sure to give me the best quality product available within my budget since my work was due to roof age not any type of damage covered by insurance.The work was done timely and efficiently with great attention to the weather to assure that no rain got in since my work was done in July of 2020...we all know summers in Central Florida...They also installed a Solar Attic Fan which works great.When the work was complete Tyler came and reviewed all of my paperwork which included a copy of my Certificate of Completion from Orange County, a Wind Mitigation Report and a Final Lien Waiver since I paid in full. AMC roofing did a great job from the very beginning. What impressed me most was their thorough estimate which included a video of my roof with detailed explanations of what needed repairs and why. Tyler was very professional and very responsive. Work was completed in a very timely manner and surpassed my expectations. Permits and all necessary paperwork was taken care of and a good variety of colors was provided. Would highly recommend AMC!

This company went above and beyond my expectations. First thing, you never talk to a middle man, it was either Andy or Tyler that you spoke to (the father and son). I was referred to this company by a very picky mechanical engineer who is meticulous with everything he does. So i already had high expectations.Second- Tyler did a video inspection and not only SHOWED what needed to be done, but EXPLAINED it as well. I am no roofing expert, so this was much appreciated.Third- It took them 1 day to do my roof! They worked quickly and efficiently to get everything done and I clean up. I still haven't found a single roofing nail in my yard. : ).If you want a professional team with 3 generations of experience who actually shows that they care about your business. Then call AMC!!Thank you Tyler!!

I researched and called 5 different companies in the Orlando area, and AMC had great references, offered competitive pricing, and did great work. The sales rep Tyler Staggs who came out was very professional, helpful, and knowledgable. He came out to the house, and estimated pricing etc...handing me the quote before he left the house....he also was very easy to reach by cell, or text when I called.....VERY professional way to run a business in my book. When purchasing our current home the inspector found a leak near the chimney. The sellers had AMC roofing come out to take a look at it since the roof was just installed in March. The company said there was no leak and sure enough two months later it started leaking into our living room. I called them the next morning and left a voicemail, but by mid day I still hadn’t heard from anyone, so I called again. I spoke to Kathy in the office and she said that someone would come out and repair the roof but wouldn’t give me a day or time. The next morning she called back and said someone would be out there in the morning. However, no one showed up till noon. The tech spoke to my wife and said he would speak to her again when he was finished up to let her know what he did. After a while my wife went outside to find that the tech just left without telling us what was fixed, if anything. I had to call the office to try to find out what was going on but Kathy said she only takes care of scheduling and doesn’t know any details but she would reach out to the tech and call me back. After about an hour I still didn’t receive any information so I called back and Cathy repeated that she doesn’t know anything about what was going on and that she would reach out to Tyler and have him call me. At this point I didn’t believe them, so I asked for his number so I could give him a call myself. She was hesitant at first but I was finally able to get his number from her. I gave Tyler a call and he told me much of the same as Kathy. Tyler said that he wasn’t in charge of my project and he would have to reach out to Andy to find out what was going on. Tyler called me back about 40 mins later and told me that they resealed the chimney but when I asked him about the damage to the drywall he said that they don’t normally cover anything like that, but he would reach out to Andy to see if there was something they could do. Two days later I still never received a call back from Tyler but I did receive a call from my wife saying someone from AMC roofing was at the house and on the roof doing something. I never received any calls to schedule and the tech never spoke to my wife to tell her why he was there. I tried calling the office 3 times and called Tyler twice. Tyler eventually called me back and stated that he didn’t know why someone was out there and would reach out to Andy again. I still haven’t received an answer at this point and I’m unaware if the issue was actually fixed because the tech never actually came inside to see the where the wet spot was. We caught this leak well before it caused any damage and AMC did nothing to fix it but now they’re trying to say that the damages are on us. I would never recommend this company to anyone because of the lack of communication and quality of work.*Update* the company can respond within an hour to a bad review but can’t have the decency to call me to schedule a visit or to call me back to explain why they were at my house uninvited*Second Update* For anyone who may read this interaction in the future. The owner is making sound like I’m an upset because they aren’t liable. That’s not the case, they never mentioned once to me that the issue was the mortar on the chimney until responding to this review. My issue was about them lacking in all forms of communication. I don’t believe it’s unfair to ask a company what they fixed when they came out to my house. How else would I have know who was liable and never once have they showed me pictures of what was found so how am I just suppose to believe someone I’ve never even met. However, instead of being understanding because they dropped the ball the owner just decide to tell me to “grow up”Service: Roof repair
