Wormley Roofing robs disabled veteran of $10K roof job, installing new roof over bad flashing.I've sweat blood, through 9 careers in the Air Force then to civilian life, while the owner of Wormley Roofing has been doing roofs for 40 yrs, does my roof 2 years ago INSTALLED NEW ROOF OVER ALL BAD FLASHING, comes to my house to explain why he didn't replace the flashing, that he's not a general contractor, he doesn't do flashing. He could have hired a general contractor and done the right thing, but he would've had to split $10K profit with a general contractor. Applied flashing sealant of a few spots and left. Roof is still leaking through out all the flashings. Wormley Roofing redid our roof in November 2022. Here was my experience below:*PROS: Licensed. Insured. Friendly. Flexible. Good communication. Fast communication. Good quality. Great google reviews. Affordable and Competitive prices. Workers treats their clients with respect.*CONS: Limited roof color options at the time (I think about 8 -10, most of them on the warmer color spectrum) (could have been due to covid shortages at the time)*SUMMARY: We had had hail damage on our 17 year old roof. They not only came out to inspect on top of the roof but also went into my attic to assess concerns. They took pictures of everything and walked with me step by step through concerning damages, expected life expectancy, etc. They were able to do permitting a little sooner than originally expected. Worked with us in their crazy schedules after Hurricane Ian came through and damaged other houses. And did a great job on the quality of the roof. They even helped us out with getting a new wind mitigation report to lower our overall house insurance premium after new roof installation! Overall SO SO HAPPY!*EXTRA THOUGHTS: The main point of contact for us, was Tyler. HE. WAS. INCREDIBLE. One of the THE BEST sales reps I have ever had the pleasure of talking to. Not pushy. Not overly unconcerned over my concerns. But totally professional in the way he presented the pricing, the materials, went over my concerns, and followed up with me in communication so well. He still answers my calls, emails, etc about questions or paperwork I need from him even after completing the job over 6 months ago. Just absolutely love the way this company treats their clients like family.*SUGGESTIONS FOR COMPANY: May be helpful to bring sample pieces of the shingle colors you have to potential client homes. It would allow the client to determine the color they want a bit easier. The site in which you buy the shingles is somewhat helpful, but as someone with a background in photography and graphics, it can be hard to determine from supplier pictures the color accuracy due to lighting, editing of the photograph for marketing, etc. At least, along with the website link you send clients, try sending them a zip file / folder of images of other client houses with the colors on the roof, without any editing of the photograph, to help them determine the right one. (And just to clarify - I was happy with my color in the end! Just thought this may help other clients choose their colors easier / quicker!)

It's not easy to find real Pros in the construction trades. When you do, hang onto them. Wormley Roofing did a great job replacing my roof. You cannot ask for better customer service than Tyler Wormley will provide. I got three bids on my job before choosing a roofing company. While Wormley Roofing was not the lowest bid, I am very satisfied that I gave the job to Wormley. Professional and they know Roofing! Great customer service, timely communications, quality workmanship, and they honor their warranty without hassle. We needed a repair to our tile roof from minor issues from Hurricane Ian. After calling the company that did the re roof in 2019 multiple time with zero response from the original contractor. Our neighbor referred us to Wormley Roofing, it only took a couple of days for Robert to come out to give an estimate. Robert was extremely knowledgeable, and pointed out other items the needed to be repaired as well. We had an estimate within two days, and we scheduled the repair the following week. The technician Tito and their apprentice were fantastic! Job well done, and we will refer Wormley Roofing to anyone that needs help with their roof!

After a hailstorm in the early spring, we needed our roof replaced. I had contacted our insurance company and after months of debate and the initial inspector saying no damage, we had to appeal.Robert with Wormley Roofing had been doing spot repairs for us for a number of years and we reached out and shared the challenges with our insurance carrier. Robert met the insurance inspector and showed him the damage (I did not know that there are different kinds of hail). Once everything lined up, we got several quotes and selected Wormley to do the work. There are a lot of fly-by-night roofers and it was important to us to select an established local company that gave us great service. Work was completed as scheduled. The crew was professional and did a nice job picking up after themselves. Robert and his team met my expectations ( I get on the roof and inspect also) and worked with us on any needs. Several of our neighbors hired Wormley after our work was completed as they know how picky we are with contractors. Wormley replaced our roof March this year. They showed up on time as was promised. The crew was friendly and professional. They had the old roof off and the new one on in one day. The second day they finished up some odds and ends and did a final inspection and clean-up. The clean-up was well done and we had no problems with old nails or old shingles. Wormley Roofing is an outstanding company with professional employees, detailed estimates and great pricing.I would definitely encourage anyone to get an estimate from Wormley and trust them for roofing/repair.They also are the leaders in silicone roof coatings in Central Florida. In my case, they coated an existing aged but functional low slope rolled roof with a silicone membrane to extend the life of the roof. The product has a 10 year limited warranty and the workmanship came with a 5 year warranty. This option was half the cost of a new roof! It also provided savings in air conditioning due to the lowered roof temperatures via the white reflective color of the product selected with Wormley's help.Tyler Wormley is a great communicator. I used them to replace my rolled roof when other roofers would not accept the job because it was a shared roof between units. They gave me a written quote of the work to be done, were helpful in selecting the materials and colors and we prompt with communications. They are busy! I had to wait a month for a time slot but it was well worth it. Wormley Roofing put on our new roof. We couldn’t be more pleased. They came out right away to give us a quote and they were the best price we were quoted! They were incredibly professional from communicating when they would start the job, when the materials would arrive and how long it would take. Rob and Sky Wormley did an amazing job. We had a tricky leak at the flat sections of our front porch and back patio. They addressed the flashing and soffit, and came out multiple times to correct the shingle work of prior constructions at no additional charge. Wormley roofing is a fantastic company. Our balcony started leaking into the interior space below. We spent over a year trying to get the builder, architect and the Schluter system manufacturer rep to admit to the problem and make repairs but each of them refused, saying that their design/construction was industry standard – that is, our problem (our house is only 7 years old). That led to another six months trying to find a roofer who could diagnose the problem correctly and commit to fixing the roofing system. Fortunately we contacted Robert Wormley who came to our house and identified multiple problems, came up with an innovative solution to installing balcony railing , made repairs to the sheathing, replaced the entire roof with a 3-ply system to give us a fantastic balcony roofing system.The cost was reasonable, it was completed on time, and the crew was friendly and easy to work with.
