Look no further!!We called another local (popular) Insulation company, made the appointment (3 Weeks out from call) the day they were to come they never showed up!Called Polk County Insulation spoke to owner Phil, scheduled the appointment for service 5 days from call. Had insulation blown into the attic back in November 2020. The ceilings had recently been torn down and replaced and the attic was empty of insulation. Scheduled PCI to come out and blown in R-30. When Debbie saw that there was NO insulation in the attic, she recommended I pay just a bit more and increase to R-38 - which is what new construction homes receive. I agreed to that and they had the job done within a couple of hours.It looked like a winter wonderland in that attic and things have been great since. Between the insulation and new windows, the house has maintained its internal temperature so much better.To top off the great service, PCI took care of filing the rebate with the City of Lakeland and just gave me the $150 off my bill right up front instead of me having to scan and submit lots of documents and wait for a rebate to be given to me.Wonderful experience from start to finish!

Initial phone call answered promptly by Phil. They called the morning of appointment 30 minutes prior to arrival. Their professionalism and experience showed immediately. Showed up ready to work. Start to finish with 1023 sqft attic was 30 minutes including paperwork and payment. It was nice for the rebate to be handled by them with lakeland electric. Will definitely spread the word to everyone I know. Thanks Phil and Debbie.

Found Polk County Insulation through referrals/word of mouth and I'm glad I went with them (after calling around for other quotes, etc.). They were on time, very upfront and honest about the cost and what I was looking for. Due to my attic space (or lack thereof) and the repiping (new homeowner, purchased the house 2 years ago so haven't spent a ton of time up there - also, I wouldn't know what I was looking at it if I did) insulating wasn't an option. They explained why, SHOWED me why, and went above and beyond to tell me other options. They actually were able to help with a skylight, that was next on my list, right on the spot! Gave me a ton of recommendations (none that actually had to do with their services, so purely out of wanting to help) and so friendly on top of it. Highly recommend!! Do yourself a favor and go with them if you're needing insulating services!

We had debated about updating our 25 year old insulation for several years, we were concerned about the cost. We called Phil at Polk County Insulation after a reference from our AC guy. Phil was very easy to talk to, gave us a price over the phone, (which was much lower than we expected) and said they could be out the next day as they were going to be in our area. We could not do it the next day, so we told him to let us know the next time they were coming our way. Phil called us one week later and we set up the appointment. He and Terry were right on time. Terry contacted Duke energy about the credit for insulating our house. They were done in less than an hour and the price was exactly as quoted! We would recommend Polk County Insulation for any insulation project you may have, and don't wait as long as we did!

As most of you know, I usually only post reviews for companies that you should not hire BUT I have to share my experience with a local insulation company. For those of you that live in Polk County: We had Polk County Insulation come out and insulate our attic. THEY ARE AMAZING!!! They are a family owned and operated company, the owners actually came out and did the work themselves!! Their prices were fair and well below their competitors, they even work with our power company to lower the price of not only our power bill but the price of insulation. They are based out of Auburndale and have owned the company for 25+ years. I called them on Thursday to get pricing and then called back on Friday to set up service, she got me scheduled in 2 business days. They were here for about 45 mins and I didn't even know they were walking around above my head! I will be calling them back to do the portion of our attic that is over the garage very soon. LOVE THEM!!!

It’s been just over a year ago our attic was done. When they came they were very professional and got it done quick. I didn’t inspect the work throughly because who likes to crawl around attics.This winter has been a lot colder it feels like. We’re not even midway through December and have had to get the heater going way more than first winter with new insulation. Started noticing that our master bedroom was the coldest part of the house. Rest of house is nice and toasty but our room, far end of home, is significantly colder. When checked in attic to see why noticed the young man doing the spraying that day wasn’t very thorough and left our side of the house pretty sparse. We have a tight attic space I can see why.Bottom line, always inspect contractors work thoroughly no matter what.

I heartily recommend Polk County Insulation. I would call them first if I need insulation in the future.I chose Polk County Insulation for several reasons:1. Among the three qualified companies, Polk County Insulation was the ONLY one that actually did an ON-SITE INSPECTION before submitting a WRITTEN estimate. So, there were NO surprises when they arrived today to insulate my attic. (The two other companies merely gave phone quotes based on calculations, and they did not supply WRITTEN estimates. I don't do business WITHOUT a WRITTEN estimate.)2. Among the three companies that are qualified for Lakeland Electric's Residential Ceiling Insulation Rebate Program, Polk County Insulation's was in the middle of the pack: The highest was $193 higher, and the lowest was just $18 lower. So, Polk County Insulation's price was competitive and fair. (Readers, I didn't find out until AFTER I paid Polk County Insulation that their website has a coupon for a $25 discount for work costing $250 or more. So, when YOU get an estimate, take that into account and DON'T forget to use that coupon.)3. The folks at Polk County Insulation are friendly, efficient, and cleaned up when they finished the job. They also gave me good information about ridge vents.Finally, readers, DON'T forget to look into Lakeland Electric's rebate program. It's great. Lakeland Electric saved me $200 on the insulation cost.
