These people have not been good to work with. First, they left the shingles on the roof for well over a month before even beginning work, ripped up the soffit and won’t fix it because it’s “cosmetic” damage, AND they filed permits but never resolved them leaving our roof in violation of code. They will not return our numerous calls/voicemails and almost seems like they send us to voicemail whenever we call. We are trying to sell our home and we can’t because of this. They have forced us into taking legal action. I cannot caution consumers enough about this company. Spend the extra thousand dollars to use another company.

Had my roof replaced in 2021 and there is an area that has been leaking since installation. I have notified company and I’m told they will have someone out to inspect the roof and no one has ever shown up! I have contacted them on several occasions. I would give ZERO stars if I could!

Had a leak in my business building after Irma that we didn't know about until a few years later after rot had set in. Rather than just repair, we opted to have a metal roof installed. They came out, quoted, and installed all within a week of the request! They also covered an additional room roof that was an add on with a rubber type roofing that was perfect for the area as it was flat! This has been a few years later and not one concern. We had a simple roof and they were there early, installed, and cleaned up by end of day. The Morels are wonderful downhome folks. Honest people you can depend on -- in the roofing business for over 15 years! We are sure glad we went to the trouble of getting SEVEN roofing bids -- from $25,000 to $7200. We were kind of worried about choosing the lowest bid from "Morel Roofing" -- but we are so glad we did. Their bid was more than a thousand dollars lower than the next highest bid. They just finished, and our roof looks beautiful. They didn't nickel and dime us with this and that -- the check we gave them was exactly what their original bid stated. We are happy to recommend MOREL ROOFING to anyone. Please remember that because they are almost always the low bidder, they are extremely busy. While they did our roof they had seven other jobs going!!!Service: Roof installation

Had a quote from them and although it was 2 years old they asked if I accepted it and I responded yes…. Then after persisting I get a start date and a link to pay them in advance they suddenly stated that they will have to come out and give me a new quote. Said they’d be here to do it today but of course no show no call. Definitely not a way to run a business. Not very professional. They gave me the complete runaround. I guess my measly tiny house and my hard earned money isn’t enough for them. I would definitely NOT recommend them for anything.

H a shingle roof and figured we'd upgrade to a metal one for the hurricane season.. had the roof done and PAID THE BILL... Sometime later within months we had a horrible vibration noise and got in touch with Dennis ( emailed the wife a few times and nothing) so he sent a guy out and that was that... Now the noise is back but even worse with the slightest bit of a breeze and Dennis seems to be ducking me after contacting him....Service: Roof installation

Called on Wednesday 9/2 and was told Dennis would call on Thursday and come out and look at roof. It is now 6 30 on Friday evening and no call or no one showed up. Customer Service in my case was zero. I was referred to them by another contractor I had used. Guess I will try someone else.After 2nd phone call on 9/10 a crew was here on 9/11. Found 2 problems in area of leaks. Very happy with guys that were here. Asked what I owed, they said let's make sure we fixed problem first. I would not recommend this company, they tell you they will be at your home on a certain day and never show up. This has been going on for 7 weeks.They will never return your calls or answer the phone. I was told to find someone else to do the roof after 7 weeks. Very unprofessional people. The woman that answers the phone is very rude. Really don't see how they are still in business. They have been reported to the Better Business Bureau and to the Chamber of Commerce in Highlands, Polk and Hardy County. It is on Yelp and Angie's List as well.

I called one week got scheduled then fri called he was out of town no return call to te me to letknow anything i didn't have to set home all then appt was set for that mon i called said due heavy business i'd wait till this Tuesday well today is Thursday I called at almost closing time ask if he was back from weekend trip she replied "maybe he is in and out i as which is it then i told her shes needs to tell the boss or husband or whatever she is unprofessional at my point of business must be nice to turn down cash money for a metal roof hope your business ethnic has made you a better business to the people of polk county i feel i was rude too and lied to by the woman whom answers the telephone i use to run a corp i would watch how she treats your customers shame on your ethnics and if you was in business for 30 yrs poor customers hope they realize how you thought of them have a blessed day business man and u professional female
