I used J&R Restoration and found them to be very responsible in that they showed up on time when they said they would, Their people were very good and were very exacting in everything they did from the taking down of plasterboard to getting rid of the mold then putting back the plasterboard and re-installing a sand finished ceiling, then painting the both rooms. Joe was very professional and was constantly in touch with us to find out how the work was going and asking if there was any problems. I referred him to a friend who used him and then told me that he too was very happy with his work and with his crew of workers.

After having dealt with many contractors over the years and dreading yet another interaction when a neighbor’s water tank flooded my Florida condo, what an amazing gift it was to have J&R Restorations recommended to me! Joseph, with whom I dealt was always responsive to me. Whenever I called or texted, I got an almost immediate response—either by phone or text. When they said they’d be there, they were and when they said they’d get something done, they did. They dealt with the water, and getting rid of everything that was wet and ruined—all while I was in New York! Joseph is patient, respectful and accommodating, answering questions and working to satisfy the clients’ needs and tastes and providing helpful suggestions. All my choices were made “remotely” so I didn’t have to be there physically. They even handled the claims to my insurance company taking that headache off my shoulders as well. The job they did is excellent and clean, and even though the bill is paid, they continue to return, without being harassed, to tie up some loose ends. I have already asked Joseph about doing another alteration in my condo and plans for it are underway. I have recommended this company to others in this development and will continue to do so without hesitation.

We had over a year leak in our garage ceiling . J & R sent Tom & Martin out and they had a big job with 1/4 of our ceiling damaged. What could have been a 3 day job they did it in half the time. This was right before Christmas. They were on time & kept us in the loop as what was happening. Tom led the project and was easy to work with, cleaned up the area when completed & informed us every step of the way. We highly recommend J & R as your go to restoration & ask for Tom & Martin. We had a leak in our 2 bathrooms on the second floor that damaged the ceiling on the first floor, as well as vanity in one of the bathrooms. Joseph came on our call and gave us correct estimate. Just days before the Covid epidemic shut down the state, we contracted with J & R to tile the floor in most of our apartment and totally redo two bathrooms and our kitchen. Then we immediately left to go home to New Jersey, assuming the work would be done in a few months, and we would come back in the summer for the final inspection. Unfortunately, it was 14-months before we could see the job. During that time, whenever I contacted Joseph, he would respond almost immediately. He was very willing to make changes over the phone or text, and always with a great attitude. When we finally got to Delray to inspect the apartment, it was obvious that it was quality work, but of course, there were things that we found that needed finishing or tweaking. We drew up a punch list, and Joseph never flinched - everything on it was done and more, and always with a smile. J&R was exceptionally easy to work with, and a pleasure to do business with. I decided to go with J&R because of their great reviews, and the fact that everyone was raving that they were reasonably priced.Unfortunately they quoted me over $1400 to fix a 3 sq feet of drywall and paint the bathroom ceiling. If you have a small job do not call this company. I have a text from them telling me that it just wasn't worth it for them to fix for under that amount. That apparently there would be too many steps involved and more or less they would have to make more than one trip.3 sq feet of drywall $1400 ridiculous!!! Find another sucker to pay you that much!!!

What a delightful experience we recently had when Joseph and Roy from J&Rvisited at our request!We feared that we had another leak, (We had to rip our bathroom apart 3years ago do to a leak in a pipe) and the thought of having to go through that again was beyond words.Unlike the previous plumbers we had, these two, respectful, kind and above all else, honest men did not feel that anything should be ripped out before checking with a company that does Only leak detection. They could have easily convinced me that there was indeed a leak and I would have thought that since two companies agreed, I would have to go through the terrible ordeal once again!It is so refreshing in this day and age of corruption….a time when it’s so difficult to be able to trust people, to meet with two men like Joseph and Roy who prove there are still honest people whom we can trust.Today, these same two men discovered a problem with my sister’s toilet and immediately asked her if she had a contract for her household and told her to call her contract company because they were quite sure she’d be covered for the work.Thus far, they have not charged my sister or me a single penny.In the future, I know I will never call another company when I have any plumbing or leakage problems other than J&R. We had an issue with a pipe that was leaking as well as other restoration work that had to be done we used J and R in the past and was very satisfied. Living here in South Florida unfortunately a lot of companies say one thing but never follow up this is not the case with J and R. The owners, Roy and Joseph Marraccino, demonstrate a competent and professional demeanor. They accommodated me at all times to schedule the work, and although some of it was not part of the deal/contract, they performed the task willingly. The workers are well trained and qualified, and have a clear understanding of their responsibilities. They are knowledgeable, efficient, courteous, pleasant and trustworthy. Each time they cleaned up and left the place spotless. As and when appropriate, either Roy or Joseph followed up with the insurance company to settle the claims, thus relieving me of that task. Although it took several months, J&R Restoration went over and above the norm to complete the job. I am extremely pleased with my new kitchen and the two bathrooms. I would recommend them to anyone who needs restoration of their property, be it after a storm or just to upgrade. They are really good at focusing on what a customer needs and requires, and put that above everything else.

I hired J&R Restoration to replace kitchen cabinets due to water damage as well as replacing my granite countertops.The timing was not great as it was in early April (the beginning of the COVID-19 pandemic and lockdown).After researching several companies for the job, Joe was most responsive regarding my questions, providing an estimate and assigning his workers to my project in a timely manner. They stayed within the timeline quoted to finish my project as I needed to return to work in early May.The quality of the work performed by Renaldo and his co-worker was top notch.
