This is the second time I have used STS Impact Windows & Doors. Greg was exceptional! He really took the time to explain the whole process including timeline, materials and cost. He ensured me he would treat my rental house as his own. The overall job took around a 2 weeks, as I had my windows as well as doors replaced to Hurricane Proof. Overall experience 5 stars!! I've had my windows installed now 5 months ago so wanted to share some feedback about my experience here from start to finish. After interviewing a few window companies, I chose to go with STS as they are veteran owned and also with the level of professionalism and design setup that I was impressed with by their sales guy Corey. They had a project coordinator who was not too responsive with updates, but my understanding she no longer works here. Once I was advised that the windows where in, I requested they send someone out to go over everything and also let me know what I needed to do on my end to insure everything was handled as I have plantation shutters. They sent Greg, who is over all the field work, out a week or so in advance and he confirmed I wouldn't have to remove the framing and that his guys could just remove the actual shutter from the hinges and work that way. Once the install team arrived I let them get to work outside and as they started working on the interior side, I came to check on them, they were removing all the plantation shutters with the framing. Needless to say had some damage on a couple which had to get repaired/replaced, so not sure the disconnect there. 2nd day into the project I'm looking at some of the work and noticed that there was no buck being replaced/installed (they had plenty in their truck) underneath some of the windows and this now having been more then 1/2 way into the project. I asked the lead installer and he said that was fine, they would just use larger tapcon screws to get into the cement. Enter Adam Daigle on his 2nd day with the company and he was just in complete shell shock as I put the entire project on hold. Thanks to the other owner Nate, he allowed Adam to take full control of this project as if it were his home and resolve all the issues. Adam was very responsive and all over trying to get the quality issues of the actual install handled. Ended up taking about a month to get the small details like handles needed that were not addressed during the initial survey to have ordered. They have a crew that specializes in resolution and cleaning up any details like drywall/sealing/window scuffs etc at the end. This crew was very good and efficient. My only question is why not train the install crews to this manner, so then you do not need a "clean up crew" to clean up all these quality/detail issues. So I rated them a 3, only because this company did work their tail off to fix all the issues, unfortunately it was major quality issues found and a horrendous experience of the install crew used on this project(I’m told they were fired immediately after this as they were finding quality issues with this crew). I appreciate Nate and Adam working their tail off to resolve the issues experienced, but would much like to see those efforts spent to make sure they have certified quality installation teams. This way the client doesn’t have to go study window installation and design and be worried now each time a storm is named.

The installers were on time, neat, and extremely professional. In South Florida those things are very hard to come by. Jose, the project manager, checked in several times throughout the the installation. During the final inspection he even saw things that we didn't see to be fixed. The office people were always very helpful and polite. We would strongly recommend STS Impact Windows to anyone looking to replace their windows. Very professional, efficient and high quality company!

STS installed hurricane impact doors for our enclosed patio and the doors looked GREAT, and looks really solid and very high quality. We even had a random neighbor knocking on our door to find out who installed our doors, which we gave her the contact of STS. She said our doors stood out from the rest of our community.We feel bad for the installation team as they had to come to our house 3 times to complete the installation, and carried heavy doors up to our 2nd level unit. Each time, there's a door panel that arrived dented, and there's always a missing part i.e. door stopper, key latches, and door handles. The dented doors were obviously supplier's issue, not STS fault, which we totally understand, but the missing parts at each installation left us puzzled. We highlighted the issues to STS, and they were being very fair for our inconvenience.Their measurements were perfectly spot on. They didn't have to cut our tiles and were very careful not to damage our patio screen. Their after sales support is exceptionally responsive after I called the office due to an incoming heavy rain leak. Someone came to fix the issue the very next day after my phone call, which we really appreciated. Our area had a heavy downpour from Hurricane Ian's impact, but there's no more leak after the fix.If it wasn't for the 3 days installation delay and missing parts, it would have certainly be a 5-star rating. Crews showed up as planned and stayed until everything was clean and correct. STS explained each step as well as next steps. I highly recommend them!!!

Alex in the front office was friendly and efficient and the installers were knowledgeable and did great work. We made it through final inspection, which is no easy task in the city of Sunrise. We had a very good experience with STS windows. Took awhile for the windows to arrive, however once they did, the installation proceeded promptly, efficiently and properly.Our hurricane windows are beautiful, smooth gliding and of very high quality.Pricing was very competitive. We had tendered out to three companies and found STS to be the most flexible, best suggestions and overall, the most reassuring.The install was not easy, being six stories up. STS contracted a crane service. I did not have to do a thing.Post install service and detail work were performed by two professional and talented servicemen.The company was very responsive to any questions. I was very pleased with my experience with STS Impact Windows & Doors but especially the installation process. Flavio and his crew were timely, professional, courteous, very clean and extremely pleasant. They used lots of drop cloths and protected the floors and furniture. The minor amount of dirt and dust generated from the installation was mostly cleaned up by Flavio and his crew. They did excellent work and I highly recommend them if you have your windows installed by STS Impact Windows.

STS has a good working relationship with Ygrene, which made a very smooth transaction between funding and product delivery. The installation period was systematic and on time, with all paperwork handled without a glitch. I’ve had lots of trouble in the past with impact window companies either not showing up or doing a terrible job and fighting me to have to redo the work correctly. This did not happen at all with STS Impact Windows and Doors. They sent a professional salesman to my house who was extremely knowledgeable. They did not try to sell me more than what I needed. He was very punctual and kind. The work that this company did was phenomenal. No issues at all and they frequently call to check up on the work done. I have no issues at all!Overall, this was a great experience and I highly recommend them to others.

Do not use them, I ordered my window and doors for 3 places in March of last year. They just finished the last place and everyone of them had to be redone because they were put in wrong. The permits failed 4 times at each place and they tried to blame the inspector. The hire outside guys and do not event check the work. There are too many good ones out there. STS is a great company. They did a super job!! They installed a new door & a sidelight in my condo. Also I couldn't have continued this grueling process without Michele, their project coordinator. There were many loose ends required by the city of Boca & she facilitated all of this, such as required working smoke detectors, an inspection, etc. I mean what does a smoke detector have to do with the door? It was never ending & Michele walked me thru the procedure. I honestly don't know if I could have done this without her, seriously. Thanks again for all your help Michele, we need u out here..lol.
