DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY!!My elderly mother needed her roof replaced on her condo. They came with mixed reviews from friends in the industry, but I decided to give them a shot anyway… They were quick to sign me up, and take the payments. But we’re very slow with the permits. The sales rep Francis was communicative. I told him my mother was Canadian and had to move funds from her Canadian account to her American account which takes a few weeks to do. I also offered to just give them a Canadian check in the Canadian difference if they didn’t want to wait. The owner of the business spoke with me and said- yes- let’s do it that way. They proceeded to give me the amount due in Canadian funds. I assume they just did the exchange rate to figure that out. I had the check written and handed it off as soon as I could.A month later we got a bill in the mail for an additional $460. Apparently the exchange rate changed when the check cleared, and they did not get the amount they expected- so they decided to now charge more to cover the lower exchange rate. I explained to them- had the rate gone up- they would not be giving a refund back. Unfortunately that’s what happens with exchange rates, but that had nothing to do with me. I paid what the bill was.The owner had a few back and forth emails with me, resulting in him calling meOpportunistic. He also threatened to not uphold the warranty on the roof and told me to “read the contract”. All in all-The owner seems pretty classless, which I also relayed in my final email. It’s easy to talk big with insults behind a computer screen. But if that’s how he acts to his customers- I can only imagine what he is like to work for. I Highly recommend finding another company to do business with.

Seabreeze Roofing took a fairly complicated project including secondary water barrier, flashing, drip edges, proper roof venting, roof covering, rotted wood replacement(plywood decking and fascia boards), installation of a hurricane rated skylight and gutter replacement and made it look easy. They finished on budget and ahead of the expected schedule. Really great thing happen when you get the right company to perform work for you and Seabreeze Roofing is the right company. SeaBreeze did a great job replacing our leaking flat roof! The job was done right and we are very happy with the quality of materials, professional installation and friendly workers that answer my questions and concerns. It took a couple days longer than originally estimated, but I'd rather it be done right than quick. We live in a zero lot line community and the only access to our flat roof was over the neighbors driveway and lawn, but SeaBreeze protected my neighbors property very well and in spite of the multiple trailers of debris and hot tar kettle there was absolutely no damage, tar or debris in the neighbors yard or driveway, or our yard for that fact.Highly recommend SeaBreeze Roofing. Great people, great company and great service.

I contacted a couple of companies for quotes. Seabreeze roofing was by far the most professional, organized and reasonably priced. They also had an impressive warranty. Careful when doing business with them. They charge for extra wood and don’t provide any proof of the use.Tried to charged for stucco work that was never done and charged for 8 sheets of plywood even though their own pictures only show 4 sheets being used.Take your own photos as the job progresses to avoid being ripped off!
