Great experience with Eric Saenz from Total Home Roofing. We own a villa in Sarasota and we share a roof with another neighbor. Unfortunately our roof mate was unable to get a new roof and I was concerned about having to do a half a roof.I can tell you that from beginning to end Eric was professional and explained how things would work. He went above and beyond to answer all my questions and concerns. He even worked with our HOA to make sure we had all the correct materials. We are extremely satisfied with our new roof and the care the team took to do a very professional job on our half of the roof. They cleaned up and removed all the debris, it looked like they were never on site! We do not live full time in Sarasota, our roof was being worked on while we were at our home in Pittsburgh, so I really need to trust a company that would do the right thing while we were away. Very competitive pricing, they came in much lower than 3 other roofing companies. I would highly recommend Total Home Roofing. 5 stars all the way!!

We are completely happy with the completion of our new roof from total home roofing. The guy’s were on the chosen date at 6am and finished the job T 9pm. Our project manager Juan Carlos is absolutely outstanding! When I called him with a question, if he wasn’t here, he would answer or immediately call me back. We were impressed with the work ethic as well as the cleanup when completed. My wife and I didn’t have to clean anything from the construction. Extremely impressive! It’s not easy to find an outstanding company like this these days. We had a heavy rain the following day and walked through the house making sure there were no leaks, and we were so happy that all was great! I highly recommend total home roofing for roof repairs or in our case a complete new roof. The office people were a great help as well with some extra paperwork we needed. We are grateful to THR for taking the stress out of such a big project. It was a pleasure dealing with them from beginning to end.

The experience with THR was excellent. The support from the sales manager ( Eric S) is outstanding . Responsiveness and availability are state of the art. Every question / concern I had were answered in less than 2-3h in average ( email / text / phone) Eric also supported on the identification of a company to support on the removal / installation of the solar panel. Material used are the best in the market. Warranty is also a strong point of their offer. I recommend Total Home roofing !

Normally you don't go with the first quote but after talking to Will Rivera I canceled my other 2 quotes because I felt comfortable speaking with him. Upon getting things in order the workers were here at 7:30 to start the project the boss Nelson contacted me within 30 minutes of them arriving to introduce himself and if I had any questions to please contact him. From start to finish the project was done professionally I would highly recommend them for your roofing needs!

My sales rep Craig Hancock did a great job in arranging my Hurricane Ian roof replacement project. He is very knowledgeable, friendly, straightforward/transparent, and responsive in communications. Also, Total Home Roofing, aka Angi, has a good team system setup. Each person was doing well in their function like a well-oiled machine. The roof job itself was quick, good quality and no stress. When it came to filing a claim to my insurance company, although my insurance company initially only approved part of the cost, Total Home Roofing’s staff was in the end able to convince my insurance company to pay out 100%. So, I was really happy that I got a super good deal, not only good and quick roof, but nearly free - I only paid my insurance’s deductible part, which is 20% of the roof’s cost.Service: Roof installation

I had a new roof installed just under 4 years ago. After interviewing several companies, I made a decision that I would not regret. Total Home Roofing was certainly not the least expensive but they offered me the most flexible programs for payment than any other company. But when I had a problem recently, I wondered how I would be treated. They sent out a technician that was cheerful and most qualified to take care of my issue. Quality Control Technician Kevin Vantongreen fixed my leak and repaired the stain on my ceiling. But he felt it was just a bandaid and went to management to hopefully eliminate the problem for the future. He was successful. Today, he spent a full day on my roof and will return to make everything absolutely perfect. I have worked in customer service my entire life. I thought this kind of attention to detail and high standards were a thing of the past. Keven proved me wrong. If I could give Kevin a 10 I would. He is a gem. Give this nice guy a medal!!!!!!

Total Home Roofing also known as Citrus Contracting provided me with the best experience I could ever imagined. Getting a new roof is normally stressful. Not so with Total Home Roofing. Daniel (Danny) LeBron who was the lead on my project was there every step of the way to help me and answer my questions. He answered the phone and my texts every single time without fail. He came to the house several times as well to oversee the project. And after the roof was completed, he followed up to fix an issue immediately, even calling me on Sunday to assure me he would be at my house Monday. Danny is so knowledgeable and professional. His crew was very polite, respectful, and just a nice group of guys. I also want to mention Rafael. He was my salesman. He was patient and explained the whole process and what to expect. There were no hidden costs as everything was told to me honestly and professionally. Rafael also returned my calls and texts. He even showed up during the installation of the roof and then sent me pics and texts to substantiate what I already knew. My roof came out beautifully. And my house is not an easy house to place a roof on. It is a two story home with exceptionally high peaks and angles. I would recommend this company to anyone. What a great professional company. Total Home Roofing has excellent communication, which is key. They are very efficient with quality work. I've used Total Home for four different roofs and all of them turned out looking and functioning great. My first roof with them was done a year prior to F4 hurricane Ian and survived the eye of the storm unscathed! My other three roofs were done after the storm and completed within days of the carnage which is incredible considering how many people needed roofs. I highly recommend Total Home Roofing as they are one of the easiest and most trusted companies I've worked with. Absolutely miserable experience with this company. They missed two scheduled start dates, with me having to call them to let them know their own crew didn't show up. They promised me for days that someone would show up. I work night shifts so I just wanted to know when someone would be there working so I could plan my sleep schedule.They missed an in-progress inspection because their work crew just didn't respond. I called the office (because the site supervisor didn't respond to emails or respond to messages I left, he only texted me to say he was sorry and a crew might come) and spoke to Brandon. He apologized but couldn't tell me when someone would show up. He said I would just have to wait. I was pissed because how can a company just not know when their workers will show up and lie to me directly for days that someone will show up just to shrug when called out on it? I missed days of sleep over this.They came on a Friday and tore off the old roof and put the new membrane on, but there was a leak in my bathroom when it rained that weekend. They didn't show up for days after the leak was reported. I found that there was another inspection scheduled and called to see if they were sending a crew that day and the site supervisor said "I will try" and "I hope we pass". I called the inspector to let them know about the leak and told the site supervisor I had called the city about it. He showed up just for the inspection, which passed, but didn't show up to finish the job for another few days. It is visibly sloppy work. They left bags of trash in my yard and materials laying around.They just missed a scheduled final inspection.They have an A+ rating with BBB but just read the customer reviews. Those will tell you everything you need to know.Total Home Roofing flat out sucks. I hope you don't make the same mistake I did.EDIT: they have blocked me on Facebook and removed my review there, as well as my comments affirming similar problems as other reviewers. I had called several companies and John from Total Home Roofing was professional, on-time and had nearly the best price. They install Owens Corning so I liked that. Install started about a week after I e-signed. Tear-off was done on day 1 with the underpayment and flashing. The second day there was a delay in the shingle delivery but once it arrived, the team quickly started to nail. Was completed day 2 amd they did a great job cleaning up. We just had our roof replaced. The guys were there at 7 am and worked steady til 5 pm. All was completed to our complete satisfaction. We couldn't be happier. Juan Martinez, the Field Supervisor, talked to us throughout and was extremely helpful. Great personality and easy to work with. I am posting specifically for Kevin vantongreen the tech who took care of my roofing issue. The 5 star rating is for him. He drove across the state to take care of the issue.As for the company there appears to be a communication issue. Unbeknownst to Kevin, he was about 20 hours late for his appointment. No one called to say no one would come. Called the office at 430 and told them in a voicemail that no one showed up. Called the next morning and still a voicemail, so I called the 866 number, they were clueless, but said someone would call. Around 2 pm the next day, Kevin shows up unannounced. I am glad I was home, after waiting all afternoon the day before I had errands to do.If you decide to get a roof make sure you get direct phone numbers of the foreman in charge. If you have any issues you can call him or her and let them know. Most of the crew working on my house were non-english speakers. And by the way, those guys were the most respectful, pleasant people. Do I recommend total roof, probably. Any of the other companies can have the same issues. Total roof needs improvement on how to communicate clearly to their customers.

Q C Tech Kevin Vantongeren did an excellent job of straightening out my roof problems and continuing to do so with his company. He was patient, understanding and extremely helpful. Never gave up on correcting the problems. Still have continuing problem with the company and hopefully will get the inspection and permit closed. Company charged for putting on 2 tarps at a charge of $8,249.74. First tarp blew off a few days before roof was started Second tarp I wasn’t consulted before they put iton.

Do not hire Total Home Roofing for a metal roof.Metal roof contract signed on 5/12/22 (299 days)Project started on: 8/17/22 (202 days)Project committed to restart on: 11/4/22 (123 days)No indication of this being completed any time soonIf you're looking for someone who doesn't show up, doesn't manage their project and will leave a decorative dumpster in your yard and drive through your neighbors lawn, sign today. Otherwise, keep looking.They have zero business doing metal roof installs. My new roof is botched and looks like a mangled aluminum soda can. No project supervisor throughout duration of project, feedback about roof is dismissed. Permit Inspections were missed, I had to schedule them myself, permitting failed. Educate yourself on how to install a metal roof, I've caught many issues during this install that would've gone un-addressed. The biggest one? They were about to install my ridge vents without any ventilation because they had the wrong materials onsite. Without me watching them and catching it, my roof would've been unvented leading to countless issues later on.Background on the job:Total Home Roofing/Citrus Contracting is the worst business I've dealt with in Florida yet. They came to my home and did a free inspection. Against my better judgement I signed an assignment of benefits. They aggressively pursued me until my claim was officially made with my insurance. Once the claim was made...things slowed down to a grinding halt. Calls stopped returning, emails were ignored, at best, I would get a call a week. I asked for pricing to upgrade to a metal accents, received one price that seemed excessively high, I then asked how much it was to upgrade the entire roof to metal. Contract finally agreed to. Friday before the install date (monday) they call and cancel, no explanation given. I'm told it was due to a metal roofing shortage. I called their supplier (Tri-County Metals) and asked what the current wait was for the materials, they said there was no wait and it was around a 3 day turn-around. Called back to Citrus/THR and said, ok, what's the real reason for the delay. I never got an answer. Fast forward 2 more months, still waiting on an install date, I call them almost daily asking for updates. Nobody calls back, they won't respond to my emails. On top of this I was also told that they don't subcontract work, I'm now learning that the delay is due to subcontractors. Nobody seems to know what's going on at this company. They might know how to do a shingle roof, but metal doesn't seem like anything they've ever done before. The irony here is early on into the process, I begged to be released from the contract, I said let me take this work to someone else, we'll part ways and both be fine. They refused to let me out of the contract, said I had to pay the cancellation fee (10%). Citrus first showed up at my house on 2/2/22. If you've read this far, I'm hoping you didn't sign anything with Citrus or Total Home Roofing. Lastly, they love to brag about how Angi's list bought them because they are the best in the business, if this is the best, I can't fathom what could be worse. Bottom line, this company does not care about you as a customer, find someone else.Service: Roof installation

There are many Roofing companies to choose from but my confidence in this company began with the estimate from Craig Hancock he wasn’t pushing he explained exactly the process and every aspect of the reroofing, materials, guarantees, inspections and cost. Though not the cheapest but all estimates were in range of what I expected. Even got Military discount. The crew was professional on time and clean. Although there was a little hiccup the project supervisor Ruben Ruiz keep me informed promptly. The Roof looks great and I would recommend this Company if you ever need a roof. Robo calls non-stop.*Edit to company response*The response by the company saying the calls stopped after unsubscribing to the several texts I received as well, is a lie. I just received two calls yesterday after unsubscribing a week ago. I'm getting an average of 3-4 calls a day, long after business hours have concluded in some cases (9pm). Often times, back to back and just a recording asking me to call them back.Instead of wasting time lying on Google Reviews, maybe it would be a better use of your company's labor dollars to develop a call back system that doesn't harass potential customers endlessly for several weeks.

I just had an excellent experience with Total Home Roofing putting a new roof on my house in Sarasota. Craig was the salesman I worked with and he was detailed and super responsive, Tracey walked me through the process and made sure I was kept abreast of all changes, and Rebecca in accounts receivable made the process if paying so smooth!My process was really drawn out due to me purchasing a new home and needing a roof right away, but they were patient while I waited for closing and got me on the schedule right away. Their crew was super efficient and communicated in a very timely manner (Thanks John and Ruben!) and had the whole process completed in just a couple days. I had quotes from several companies but their pricing, timeframe, and financing was by far the best! I highly recommend Total Home Roofing!
