Being a family owned business (and the family actually being neighbors) I always have a great experience. They were a saving grace to me about 10 years ago. I was stranded and walking 🏡(14 miles) I stopped and asked for water and got a cold drink and a OFFER FOR A RIDE HOME.

I go here all the time and this is the second time this man ( not the owner) has tried to over price me on something. I got two boards that I know are a dollar from shopping here, he tried to charge me 5.00 each board , the prices of things should be clearly marked because that guy tries to get you if he thinks he can. I would have bought a kitchen sink but I don't trust that guy so I left. I will try to come back with a guy I guess but likely not. That's a shame y'all lost money because of him.

Went in to buy a bathroom vanity which they had in stock i wanted one made of wood not pressed boards. Couldn't fit the lengths of mouldings since my truck bed is 5' and the lengths are 16' and I didn't want to cut them in half. Prices are very reasonable, staff is friendly and helpful.

This is a place that sells used things for mobile homes. Doors, sinks, toilets, etc. I was looking for a door and I found one I think will work. They said if it doesn't, I can return it, so that's good. The price was good, too. If you need any replacement parts for your mobile home, this is the place to find it!! It's a family business and they were very helpful and friendly!

They seem to have everything! Especially if you are looking to match something for a mobile home. The staff is knowledgeable but you have to track them down a bit. Or ask Debbie, she knows most of what is there. Definitely worth the drive or to make a call. There is so much stuff that I like to visit for ideas.

They sell a good product at a fair price and they’re so friendly. I don’t think there is anything you are looking for that they won’t have or know where to get!

I've stopped in here several times in the past year. Builders Surplus regularly carries used and new building and home improvement supplies, such as 2 x 4s, windows for manufactured and mobile homes, interior and exterior doors (some in frames), pipe, kitchen and bathroom sinks and commodes, shower stalls and tubs, siding, chipboard, faucets, sheet vinyl and carpet, tiles, decking, and much more. Wear flat closed toed shoes when walking around as things are generally haphazardly placed and require stepping over and around, and there is lots of broken glass on the ground. If you are willing to spend a lot of time exploring to see if something that might meet your needs can be found, you can save quite a bit on its purchase. This is not a place for those customers with mobility issues, high heels, and/or desiring to be waited on. But bargains can be found if you enjoy treasure hunting. They are closed Sundays and Mondays, as well as other days (which they notify customers of by spray painting the closure info on plywood at the entrance).

Great place to find pretty much anything for house or mobile home. Prices are pretty cheap and you can get a lot for the money. Wall tiles for the bathroom were 20c a piece! Did the whole wall for 25.00! Shake stuff out it is outside!

I called and asked for a very specific part. I was told they had plenty. Drove 25 minutes up here only to be told that they don't have anything in that size. I was very specific. They will not waste my time again.

This place is loaded with building supplies, at terrific prices, too! We found a really nice front entry door. The staff here is great,-helping many customers graciously. Thank you Builder's Surplus! We will be back.

Not a complete lumber yard, but your choices are limited in the area, and the prices are good here. Most items seem to be good quality but you do have to inspect and judge for yourself. They have plumbing fixtures, hardware, electrical and much more. Family run, friendly. Not just mobile home stuff by a long stretch, This is my first stop for building materials, and the big box stores and chain hardwares are my last resort if I can't find it here.

I'd give them less than one star for customer service but there is a minimum. After standing in line for 7 to 8 minutes a woman walked in and got in line(behind me) and was asked (in less than 30 seconds)what could they help her with. I'm starting to feel like they don't need or want my money...

Windows, doors, siding, lumber, etc etc etc... They got it here and it'll be less than Depot or Lowe's. Have to dig a little, through piles and stacks but there's a lot. Mostly mobile home and RV stuff. "Mostly"
