ACES Roofing replaced my roof and I am happy! From start to finish it was a great experience. Chris did my estimate, he explained everything and was very polite and knowledgeable. The office staff was courteous and kept me up to speed on the process. I was impressed with the workers, they were quick but efficient, they replaced my bad wood from a leak I had and gave me photos of the bad wood for my records.I had an issue with some of the shingles afterwards not looking as new as the others in a small section, a little faded looking easily missed if you weren't staring at the roof for a bit and Chris came back out, listened to my concern and then had them replaced right away.I would recommend them and I do? Two of my neighbors used them after I did and were happy too!

I’m quite particular & thorough and this company did a fine job. The fellow who gave me the estimate, knows his business. I got several other estimates, and his bid was right where it needed to be to secure the job but also allow me to feel like I got a good deal. Overall good communication, responsive, and the crew that put the roof on was impressive. They worked relentlessly hard in the hot son. The whole job was completed in two days from start to finish.

Very happy with our new roof! Ace's Roofing of Tampa Bay did a great job! Done in TWO days! Super hard working crew, so impressed. They even put tarps down to protect our shrubs and plants.....and cleaned up all around the house. Very professional! Office is very responsive and helpful. Always got back to me same day. First this company FORGOT to screw down my gutter guards and they flew off the house. Then a room had a leak that was not leaking before the new roof was placed. A roofer came out again, very late both times, said he fixed the roof and if I wanted someone would come back out and put killz over it. I was angry, I did not want Killz over the stain. I had it totally repainted. Now, 3-4 months later I went in the freshly painted room to find a bigger stain and leak. I have emailed this company with no response, I have left a message. I am going to attempt to call and talk to a supervisor tomorrow. I will get a receptionist and it will be a long wait to talk to a repair supervisor. I want an owner/manager. This company is awful. beware.

A.C.E.'s roofing was super, and Chris is a very honest professional dedicated to making and keeping customers. He was happy to fix our leaky roof when another company who said they would simply didn't show up! Plus, he could easily have tried to talk us into upgrading to a whole roof, but was honest enough to say we didn't need one. Great experience, and when we DO need a new roof, I will certainly call A.C.E. That other company blew a good opportunity for further business!

Update: After I emailed and requested to speak with a owner, I received an email as well as a call from Elissa today 2/3 letting me know the she did not know about the issues we have been facing with our roof and the receptionist. Once aware, she had a worker sent out today to fix the issues. Once the job was completed, she emailed me letting me know it was taken care of. I appreciate Elissa’s actions to have this resolved once she was finally made aware of the issue.We had a new roof put on by the sellers of our home a year ago before we closed as a part of the closing conditions. The roof was put on by ACE’s. 1 year after the roof was put on, on a Christmas Day 2020 when it was a bit windier than usual, the insulation on our entire back portion of our roof came detached and began flapping in the wind. We waiting until 12/28 to call ACEs to have them come out and fix the issue. Someone was sent out about a day or 2 later and temporarily peeled the insulation back over the roof, letting us know at the time of installation they did not use long enough nails to secure the insulation to the actual foundation. He advised that he did not have the nails on hand and that someone else would come back to fix the issue. Fast forward to today 2/2/21 and we have called almost every week seeking resolution, have purchased a ladder for our 1 story home that was not even needed besides for the reason of my husband climbing onto the roof himself to peel the layer back several times to ensure the roof was covered when it rained. The woman who answers the phone each time is very abrupt and rude, and acts as if we are a bother each time we call to figure out when the issue is being fixed. She advised this morning after we told her we could not wait another day to have this issue resolved as it has been over a month that someone would be out today to fix it. I called again at 3:30 and at 4:30 after she did not call me back with the status of the worker coming to fix the roof and she advised that the worker would be checking in with her closer to 5 (WHEN THEY CLOSE), and that he would try to make it out. She also mentioned that she told my husband we were scheduled for 2/3 (tomorrow) to have this fixed which is unacceptable given the amount of time that this has taken to get resolved. So here we are now at 4:47 and still no one has come out to fix the issue. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.Service: Roof installation

If it was an employee of the company that treated me so poorly I would not take the time to write a review. But when it’s the owner, I feel obligated to share my experience so others are aware if they hire this company. My warning to you … if anything goes wrong; don’t bother bringing it to the owner’s attention. You will not get any type of professional follow through from him. To be fair, I was pleased with how quickly they were able to schedule us and happy with the subcontractors that actually did the work.My roof was installed the week of June 20th. While removing the tarp, one of the roofers threw a large board off the roof and it landed on the “L” shaped pipe that is approximately 8” above ground and attaches the sprinkler pump to the sprinkler wells. It was obviously an accident and was not intentional. While paying, I showed a picture of the broken pipe to Becky. I told her we would try to fix it ourselves but I wanted her to see it just in case we were unsuccessful. She was very nice and asked I keep her informed. Unfortunately after replacing the pipe, we could not get the pressure to return to normal. It would require a professional to come out and repair it.I phoned the office about a week later and spoke with Susan concerning the wind mitigation report I had yet to receive. She, like Becky was very nice and said she would check into it. I then asked her to pass on to Becky that we were unable to fix the sprinkler system. She said that she thought she had heard them talking about it and would get back to me about both issues. I called every and finally received the wind mitigation report on July 21. Susan was very apologetic about how long it took. When I asked about the sprinkler, she told me that Chris, the owner wanted to come out on August 1st to look at the sprinkler system. Mind you, this is now over 5 weeks since my roof was completed.I can’t begin to tell you how utterly shocking the experience was. To say he was unprofessional doesn’t begin to describe his behavior. With his voice raised, he began asking accusatory questions. How do you know it was the roofers that broke the pipe? Did you see him break it? Which roofer did it? Why did I wait a week to tell him? So you want me to replace your entire sprinkler system and pump because a pipe was broken? Just because you have a flat tire doesn’t mean that it affects the engine. Did you read your contract? It clearly states we are not responsible for broken sprinkler pipes (FYI - the contract refers to underground piping). When I tried to respond he’d cut me off and arrogantly throw out another remark. The last straw was when he accused me of trying to rip him off and asked me if I had any idea how many of his clients did this just to get his insurance company to pay for something that they wanted replaced. Once he said that, it was obvious that he couldn’t care less about his customers and had no intention of ever doing anything to make the situation right. I stopped trying to communicate with him and asked he leave my property! He was still yelling at me when I shut the garage door.He obviously believes if you lead with intimidation and bullying you won’t have to face responsibility for your actions. To allow this situation to drag on for weeks and then make an appointment with me to come to my house and literally yell at me and insult my integrity is not only unacceptable behavior of a business owner but is inexcusable behavior of a human being.I personally refuse to get caught up in dysfunctional situations, which is why I will absorb the cost of fixing the issue myself. What I will not do is keep this story to myself. Trust me when I say I will be sure that every Realtor I work with as well as any other person I come across that asks me if I know a good roofer will hear this story. They will know that they cannot trust the owner of this company to stand behind his work. They will know exactly how he treats his customers!

I received a quote from A.C.E.'s roofing two months ago and have been following up multiple times for the past month trying to schedule a date for my roof to be repaired as I closed on my new home two weeks ago. Susan and Becky are nice over the phone but constantly provided false promises as to sending me a contract and calling me back when they weren't "busy". I've never dealt with such horrible customer service when I'm trying to give them business and ended up having to go with another company.

I worked with A.C.E. Roofing a couple years ago to reroof a rental house. They did a fantastic job at a fair price. I found the customer service excellent. The crew took extensive photos for insurance purposes also. Someone complained about them not getting to a roof for a week. I've waited more than three weeks for a roofer to show up during Florida's rainy season.

I have worked in Construction for 50+ years. I went through the Process before I hired Ace. I had 5+ Companies Quote the Project. Ace was not the low bid. Anyhow, I took over 500 photos, and they performed professionally throughout the Process. Chris and Becky both performed as promised. I would recommend this company.

I din't have any issues with the roof itself but when I wentto sell the house 3 years later, found out the permit was never closed. They did send pictures to the city but I had to pay the permit extension fee of $250. I also had to call the city 10 times, schedule an inspection and handle everything myself. Only roofer out of 10 who bothered to help me. My roof started leaking 2 weeks ago with all of the rain we've been having. I couldn't get anyone to come see it immediately, so they all made appointments for the following 2 weeks to give me an estimate. I met with fancy roofing companies with shiny folders/trucks and roofers that didn't even have a magnet on their truck. Most of them didn't even bother offering to repair my roof and a few were nice enough to recommend that I buy elastomeric from Home Depot and just get a handyman to roll it on my flat roof (I have a Gable/Hip and flat roof). One roofer offered to do it for $500, another one told me that if I bought the elastomeric, he would charge a little, but never returned my calls after I bought it. Finally, ACE's Roofing showed up and I told him that I met with a bunch of roofers, had the elastomeric but the roofer never returned my calls. The owner, Chris, asked me "what do you want to do?". I explained that I'm not working right now, am a single mom with twins and met with almost 10 roofing companies. I need a short term solution until I start working and can pay for a new roof (or a hurricane comes and insurance takes care of it). I asked him," If it was his mom or sister, what company would you tell them to use? The ones who offered gave quotes for a new roof or the one who helped them when they needed it the most?" He got up on my roof and fixed it in less than 30 minutes. He earned my business. I will be getting a brand new roof from ACE's Roofing as soon as I can. Thank you, ACEs for being the only company that cared to help.

I had Ace come out to do an estimate on a repair and an overall inspection. My house isn't very large so I happened to see him on the walkway to the door through my window and went out to greet him. I asked if he needed me to stay outside or anything and let him know the doorbell didn't work so to knock briskly on the door if he needed me. I went out to my back porch with is about 30 feet from the front door, where I have never had a problem hearing even tentative knocks from neighborhood kids selling candy bars, as I left the porch door into the house open.I was working and suddenly realize it had been nearly an hour. I went out and he was gone. I called the office and the woman on the phone answered politely at first but then became surly and insisted that he had "knocked loudly" and that I didn't answer, but he left the estimate on my front porch. I don't have a front porch. While on the phone I went outside checked my front step, door, mailbox, driveway and told her there was no estimate. She said she'd check and call me back. That was two weeks ago.Now I know why this was the only company that could come out on a week's notice.

I am a woman who had my roof done by this company 6 months ago. They left stains in my driveway. I contacted them right away and sent pictures and it took 6 month for them to send someone out. Today a man came out who was highly verbally abusive to me. He argued, yelled, cursed and called me vile names. Of course he stormed off without addressing the problem. I wish I could write here what this man said to me and the names he called me, but it would not be appropriate. I would never have anything to do with this company. I felt very much threatened by the man they sent out to my home.

From beginning to end, coming out for estimate, Becky is fantastic. So knowledgable and friendly, no pressure. She explained the whole process and it all work perfectly. The workers were on time, very professional and hard working. They cleaned up everything after themselves and even took before and after pictures for me. I wish everything in life was this easy.

We had an estimate set up for 12:30 today. He was almost thirty minutes late. But no biggie, I’m working from home and flexible. Showed up with no mask. I asked if he had a mask and he said no. I offered him a mask and went to go get my husband. When we came back to the front door he had driven off. I contacted the company to inform them how their employees were behaving and was told that “he had a gait or around his neck this morning and you are more of a risk to him then he is to you”. They did not card whatsoever about any of it and the entire situation was extremely unprofessional. I would stay away.

Canceled on me because of the weather (understandable). Then rescheduled me for a week later (dont understand why I would not be first priority since they canceled on me but whatever) and never even bothered to show up. Thank you Ace roofing for wasting two weeks of my time when it is raining almost every other day and I have a hole in my roof and ceiling. Didn't even care to call and contact them regarding the no show.

They are roofing multiple buildings on the property I live at. Great work because of decades of neglect the repair is extensive and they are doing a awesome job. All the employees have been very friendly to the residents. Most of all they keep the work site clean and safe every day.

Signed the proposal to start the job. Guy calls me on a Friday saying he was going to be there Sat morning. He never showed. Called him he said oh I'm at church right now and texted me later in the day he wasn't going to show up. I contacted Becky via email she responded by telling me that this was not supposed to happen and she would get back to me asap with a solution. Over a WEEK later no response, no email, no call, no nothing. Becky you are absolutely correct this is NOT how this was supposed to go! Things happen but communication is way too easy these days to not communicate.

horrible customer service!! It is raining now and I have a leak in my addict and the women stated an appointment can not be made until next week. My leak is present now and could be doing water damage as we speak. It is only sprinkling with no lightning and this women was very rude with all my concerns. I will not be doing business with this company.
