Top notch from initial consult to final cleanup! Office was pleasant and professional, easy to work with, and communicated well while dealing with weather delays. Price was fair, crew was timely and respectful, worked their tails off, and took excellent care to protect our property and clean it thoroughly. They stripped the old roof quickly, did extensive sheathing replacement, installed hurricane straps, put up new underlayment, vents, and the shingles, all in one day. Would absolutely recommend to anyone else. Will work with them again in the future!

I can highly recommend Alvarez Home Repairs, LLC for roofing. As a retired contractor, I was looking for a roofing company which could meet or exceed the material and installation methods I am accustomed to, at a fair price. Bottom line, they exceeded my expectations.I have used CertainTeed roofing products on my jobs for many years, and wanted a CertainTeed trained and certified roofing contractor to do my jobs. Their company has invested in the training for their crews to be certified to the standards of being Select ShingleMaster installers. Beyond this, I wanted my installations to meet the standards of the CertainTeed Integrity Roof System, which requires the highest of materials and installation practices to qualify for the SureStart PLUS 5-STAR Warranty Coverage. This coverage cost a small amount extra, but, in my opinion, it is worth every penny of the cost and extends the factory warranty out many years on a non-prorated basis and is transferable to a new owner.In Florida, your roof system is very critical in protecting your investment. Otniel Alvarez and his crews are competent and capable. The process in dealing with them was seamless from my first interview, estimate, contract, commencement, permitting, installation, clean up, final county inspector approval and warranty registration. And, I am confident, if an issue should arises down the road, they will stand ready to resolve it. This is exactly what I was looking for in a reputable roofing contractor.UPDATE ON NEW WORK COMPLETED 7/2/2018I had a roof leak issue on another home I own in Florida. Alvarez Home Repairs, LLC replaced 2 roofs for me on other homes in 2017. I again called on my "GO TO" roof company to get the job done correctly. Jay came out and looked at the roof (inside and out), took pictures and send me a written quote on what needed to be done to correct the leak and repair the roof damage. It was a fair quote, given the scope of the work to be done. Within a week later the roof was repaired, correctly, by Jay, himself. He sent me follow up photos as the work progressed, and he did a super job. The photos are attached. Thanks again Alvarez Home Repairs, LLC!

Great experience from start to finish with these guys! Highly recommend!!! Omar was our estimator/sales guy. He was punctional, professional and very patient with me and my 50 million questions. Office stuff was friendly and efficient. Price was reasonable, work crew was punctial & respectful. Quality of work was outstanding. Their Facebook page has a video of our roof from uptop...check it out! Our roof was done 2 or 3 years ago. We went from tile to shingle and we were very nervous. Alvarez was the 5th Rooffing Co. out of 6 that I received bids to replace my two roofs, pitched shingle and flat bitiman. Omar looked at my roof, gave me an estimate and suggested I speak to one of my neighbors whose new roof by Alvarez Roofing was just being completed. They were very professional and did everything they said they would do on time. Our roof was old and had quite a few leaks.It made it through hurricane idalia with no leaks. They replaced both roofs on my two story house and installed hurricane clips as well. I would definitely recommend using them . From the start Alvarez Roofing was very professional. Joy in the office was very knowledgeable and friendly, she walked us through the process. They were on time to inspect our roof and gave us detailed pictures and explained why and where the roof leak was coming from. Alvarez Roofing Services did an amazing job installing my new roof, and did it in a day. They arrived before 8:00 a.m. and had the old roof torn off before lunch. Each guy knew his job. Watching them reminded me of a well-trained and practiced sports team. They used high-quality materials and sweated the details. I have no doubt that my new roof will last decades. I chose to use charcoal black shingles with a black metallic drip edge. Very sharp looking. Big visual upgrade to my house! This family-run business is the real deal. This job took 2.5 days to complete, but there was a lot of work to be done besides rolling out the new roofing material! Alvarez took no shortcuts to achieve the quality result we needed. I am shocked truly shocked but in a great way. At a time when so many people are getting scammed for everything I am so pleasantly surprised with John Wayne from Alvarez roofing company.I asked him to give me a quote on roof repair he thoroughly checked the roof and said we had duration shingles and there was still plenty of life left in the roof perhaps a few shingles could be realigned but nothing of any consequence.I am shocked with the honesty and I told him that I would refer this company at every opportunity I could. Joy and Obed with Alvarez Roofing did a great job scheduling and coordinating with me for new TPO roofing for our Florida room. The price was at the higher end of what we anticipated but we’ve had several issues in the past with this roof and with the reviews we’ve read about Alvarez Roofing we figured it would be worth it in the end. The roof looks great and it comes with a nice labor warranty as well which told me they stand behind their work.

Specifically, Omar, with the company went above and beyond in follow up to the completed job. Even though the roofing contract did not include any damage repairs, Omar personally repaired yard damage as our driveway is very narrow and difficult to navigate for large vehicles. They installed my roof in one day. It was amazing to watch their teams work throughout the day. Great price and hard working crew. However changed my 5 star review to 3 stars because for the past 7 weeks I have been trying to get them to send a letter or update the invoice to show they upgraded equipment for homeowner's insurance. I have now been told 4 times someone would be out to go into attic to see that they did in fact do that. 3 times they were a no call no show. Today they were supposed to be out again after my insurance company called them and they just sent a text to tell me they cannot come out again. So they did great work with the roof but if you need support or anything after roof is installed you can't depend on them.Service: Roof installation

We received a lot of estimates for our roof and by far this company was the best from start to finish!!! Omar was not only honest with us but fair in price! He was knowledgeable about their products and scheduling! The thing we loved the most besides they are family owned and operated was that they were very understanding about our three little fur babies that drove even me nuts with all the barking! The crew on the job cleaned up daily, didn’t rush and were very professional!! Another compliment I would give is that Omar saw the job through from before we signed to the very end including collecting the payment!!! They were even able to squeeze us in when they had a cancellation!!! I can’t say enough good things about my experience with Alvarez Home Repairs!
