Despicable company with no professionalism or integrity. Storm chasers that travel to weather ravaged areas and prey off the victims. Overpriced, shoddy work, unqualified workers. Had a different contractor come in and they took over 300 pictures in my house that was either not done and was in scope of work or was done so poorly that it would have to be redone by professionals. The outstanding balance they claim we owe is from work not done in the scope or from work so bad, by unsupervised, unskilled workers that it’s falling apart, done improperly, or it looks horrible. 1 star is a compliment.

They put a new roof on in Oct 2019 and refuse to be responsible for this, even tho the roof is under warranty. I went thru Ygrene so I'm doubly screwed.

The owner - Jamie - zero knowledge about building or roofing. He lives in another State - hires literally anyone with zero to no experience. When I worked there - What a low f'ing point in my life. I tried to do thing the way a proper contractor would - He refused and just takes money - and pushes peoples concerns off. He is a low life - stay away. He does not live in Florida - he does not care if he screws your project up.

Use any company besides BMCI. They sprayed their roofing material over my entire property. After pointing out this issue out. The owner while sitting in his home out of Florida offered me a low ball number to go away. After many times allowing them to make correct they did not. I had to get ahold of the owner of the company that makes the roofing material in Brussels. I thought that might work. But I was wrong. I've learned dealing with companies that are this big. They Do not care about residential work. I fought them for a year. It didn't help. Stay away from this company. I would hire people off the street before I called BMCI again for anything.Service: Roof installation

Buyer beware! Like the many others have stated, stay away! I spent $15k plus on a new roof to have many leaks in my flat deck areas of my home resulting in my ceiling being damaged. Of course this joke of a company refuses to fix their mistakes. Instead they try to find any and every excuse under the sun to not fix the issues at hand. Their customer service is horrible. They will find anything to get out of their warranty work. Please stay away! It took them a full year to come back and fix the failed inspections on my roof. Again, stay away!In response to your sugar coated lies...Wrong! The ENTIRE front flat roof had to be replaced due to it looking like a water bed. This was due to you failing to remove the film from underneath the materials. Now the ceilings in my home are coming down. Instead of doing the rite thing and fixing the damages caused by your negligence, I'm now forced to take you to small claims court. To be continued... 02/15/2019 - Amended review: After receiving a phone call from Wanda at BMCI and talking through the situation I realized I needed to amend my previous review. It was unfair. However, I still did not have a good initial experience. Wanda did her best to make it right, but first impressions are hard to change. Wanda, I appreciate your reaching out on the job and on the review.This was my first experience with a homeowner's insurance claim following Irma. I made the mistake of giving them a copy of my claim/payout assessment. My mistake. I was told my roof repair (I had a hole in my roof after a tree fell on it) would start in 2 weeks. Nope. After a month I called to get a time for repair, explaining there is mold in the house (it was leaking) and I was having health issues that sent me to the ER. It was another month before that was done. Second mistake, signing a contract with no start and end date. More work needed to be done on the house. What had been completed to date was shoddy. No one was responding to my calls. I contacted the company president, requesting to be released from my contract. I then got a call from the local office. To make a long story short, I gave them another chance. The work quality was better and completed. But I will not use them again.

This company does not know what they are talking about. I have never experienced a company that did not know how to apply the product they are selling. James who represents the company has flat out lied about knowing the ins and outs of the roof coating process. The sales personal will lie about the condition of the roof. Saying this product will fix it when in fact the roof should be redone not just patched or sealed. Tia who works in the office is completely unprofessional and is not good at time management. Well actually none of them are timely. Having to do a project 3 times because you don't know how to apply it with 3 different crews is insane... I wish there was a way to give zero stars because that's exactly what this company deserves. My grandmother had our roof replaced about 2 years ago and every time the wind blows you can hear this extremely loud, obnoxious noise throughout the entire house. I've had people from the company come out several times since the roof went on with a few claiming they 'fixed it' and others saying there's nothing wrong. It's STILL happening and I'm so incredibly frustrated.I've even climbed into the attic to see where the noise is located and have taken several videos of where the ridge vent is flapping happily away and sent them to the company but with absolutely zero results.I don't know anyone with a new roof that has told me it sounds like they have an aviary in their attic whenever there's a storm. Having paid for the roof already there's really no incentive for them to want to ensure this is fixed and that everything was done properly. The receptionist repeatedly tells me the guy will call me back but never does. Company is truly sleazy. They figured since my grandmother couldn't hear and was elderly that they could just continue to blow it off. My advice is to look online at the reviews from others who have reported similar issues with workmanship. They are all over Facebook. Hopefully I can get the BBB to help me get some results.

Since I posted my previous review BMCI has apologized for the upset that they caused my family and me, has provided me with everything that I need to present to my insurance company to obtain all wind mitigation credits. The roof looks good, they did a fine job on it. I am removing the review I had posted earlier.

BMCI is Roofing my condo development. They were efficient and fast in their work. A couple difficulties arose through the week they worked on my building: Broke my AC unit dropping old roof shingles torn off on it all day and Blocked me out of my car in my garage for the whole week without notice that I would not have access except during the daytime. Although one can expect a certain number of problems to occur in a project this large (they willingly paid for my AC repair), what was extremely frustrating (and why I only gave four and almost three stars)was the terrible customer service I received from their on-site supervisor Wanda! She did nothing but pass the buck, be defensive and give excuses, sometimes being flat dishonest with the excuses she gave. Her response to huge construction dumpster not being moved on Friday as it was scheduled to was: "we have no control over the dumpster company and you will just have to wait until Monday" ( the dumpster company that that they, BMCI, subcontracted with and that they are paid to be in control of and whose performance they are responsible for over the entire project.) After continuing to just make excuses and take no responsibility, she also refused to give me the name of anyone in the company above her that I could talk to. She truly has NO Customer Service skills and she is a liability for BMCI, a company who otherwise does good work.One other supervisor, Geoff, was excellent, (the reason my 3 stars went up to 4) and after calling him he was able to work hard and get the dumpster company to come and remove it Saturday morning (which Wanda said was impossible, tough luck). He was appropriate and personable and apologetic about the problems in all his communications, the exact opposite of Wanda.As a long time CEO of a company, it boggles my mind how someone who can be so offensive to customers in the face of problems created by BMCI, can rise and be maintained in a supervisory position. It would behoove BMCI Leadership to required to require her to undergo a Customer Service Training class or workshop.

Two employees of this company drove into our private neighborhood (the gate has been broken since the storm) which has several "No Trespassing" and "Private Property" signs posted outside of the entrance. We stopped the Jeep which had magnetic BMCI signs on it to ask them if we could help them. We advised them that our neighborhood is private and they still drove through our neighborhood, despite our asking them to leave. Since we've had so many trespassers since the hurricane, we took our our phone to take pictures of the vehicle to report them to the officers who guard our gate in the evening. The men in the Jeep flipped us off and sped away. The Jeep has Alabama plates, so the men are clearly storm chasers who do not live in our area, and have absolutely no respect for residents in this area which was so adversely affected by Hurricane Michael. BMCI should be more mindful of the unprofessional people they hire who drive around smearing the company's name. Beware of working with this BMCI. ***2/13 UPDATE TO THE ABOVE*** I'm updating this review and amending from a one star rating to a three star rating based upon the owner's attention to this issue. The owner took our call very seriously and responded to the message we left at the office quickly. Of course, he saw our review and asked us to amend based upon his attention. Based on his prompt response, I think it's fair to do so, hence this update. He advised us that he fired the employees who trespassed in our neighborhood on account of their unprofessional (and unlawful) behavior...and clearly for not being smart enough to pretend they were somewhat professional while driving around in a vehicle bearing BMCI's name. While I have no verification that these two hooligans were, in fact, fired, I'll take him at his word. Hopefully, these two law-breaking trespassers will head back to Alabama from whence they came.

I worked with Kevin E and James on getting outside house repaired from water damage. New roof, gutters, french drains and house painted. Everything looks so good now. Really happy with whats been done. Now they are coing inside and doing bathrooms and kitchen and painting, so we're not done yet. But very good about responding. I forget the person in charge of the roof but he was very helpful too.

DO NOT use this contractor. The work is so terrible, we have more damage than when we started and they never responded when we sent them pictures of the poor work that was done. They never even came back finish the job but had no problem taking our money. They pray on victims of hurricane damage. Talk about kicking people when they are down. SMH.

We hired BMCI last summer and it has been nothing short of a nightmare & hope it’s over soon! I will regret the decision to hire them for the rest of my life! The brand new roof leaks and has leaked since day 1.A guy has come out 3 times to fix the leak and 3 times it continues to leak! AWFUL job done by you people

On March 9, I made an appointment with BMCI to have the roof on my Florida room redone. I went with this company because they were recommended by Vivint Solar and I was getting their solar panels. Alex comes out a week or so later and making a long story short, walks around the entire roof before I stopped him and said I was only looking to have the roof redone on the Florida room. I have zero idea how that could have been misunderstood. The roof on the remainder of the house didn’t need to be redone. In hindsight, I should let him have it and try to convince me it DID need to be redone. I took time off work on my second job to meet this guy and the company was recommended so I didn’t have any misgivings whatsoever. Alex was not capable of giving me an estimate at that point but told me after studious measuring that someone would get back with me ‘shortly.’ I have no idea what ‘shortly’ means to BMCI but almost two weeks later, I called to get the estimate and Ken asks me what the measurements were on said roof. I told him Alex should have input that info and I was assured that he did but gosh, could I confirm those figures? Ken wants to apologize profusely and somehow managed to bring Vivint into the conversation. He assures me that Vivint customers are treated ‘special’. Yeah, like I don’t think so but anyway, I’m not sure what the problem is… The Florida room has nothing to do with solar panels and English sounded like it was the primary language of every person I spoke to at BMCI. To add more hilarity to the situation, Ken wants to come out again and get me an estimate and I don’t have to take time off work. Really, kids? Why did I have to take off work the first time? What part of ‘Florida room’ gets confused with the ‘entire house’? What was Alex measuring if you need to ask ME for the measurements (which I knew btw compliments of the roofing company that did the job)? I got an estimate emailed to me yesterday (3/28) which was approximately one grand more than the company that did the actual work with a 10-year warranty. No, I don’t think I’ll be going back to BMCI any time soon.

I cannot reccomend this company enough. Kevin Imse totally understands the needs and complexities of HOAs and budgets. He works diligently to find solutions that will hold up to the test of time while being cost effective to the HOA community. His crews are professional and friendly. He is definitely going to be our ''go to guy!" As a Board president, he has made my job so much easier and hassle free. Highly, highly recommended!

Be very careful with this company. They are very unprofessional, the customer service is below average, and they will find any excuse possible not to pay the subcontractors they hire. And if a man named Ken shows up to your house make him leave immediately. I believe he is the biggest problem with the company. Anyone who uses this company I'm sure will regret it. I am.

Estimator errored on bid, after signing the contract and down payment of $2500.00 BMCI wanted to add $750.00 additional because of a flat roof section. (rejected). Also exaggerated amount and cost of materials. additionally Crew ran over my rod Iron fencing at 7:55 pm. So far not impressed. Was told twice the roofers would be here on Wednesday August 15. Actually was told the morning of the 15th they would be on site that day so I waited for them as I have a boat I needed to move. Workers never showed... still waiting. Once you sign the contract they ignore you. Thankfully I haven’t put money up front.
