ZERO STARTS for sure!!! This place has horrible customer service! They lie over and over and had the nerve to tell me that my roof was fixed after Brandon came by said he needed to get help from Chris and would be back in 2 weeks...that was 2/4/24 and now Chris told me 3 weeks ago that he said it was fixed but they could not come that week due to "weather." Still no call back and no Chris or Brandon. I have been trying to get this fixed for a year or more. Today I filed with BBB. This company is horrible!!! Run away as fast as you can!

Had a roof system put on 1st week of December paid them then the next day notice screws that came through our lanai ceiling. Called them they said they would come right out and make it right. Have called them every week and they say will be out next week. Still have not been out to fix it as of February 4 th. The building inspector would not sign off because of this. I guess as long as they get $7000.00 they don’t care. Now we are wondering how good the warranty is if you can’t even get them to come back to fix their mistake. So if you need a roof find a different company.

If I could give zero stars I would. I’ve been given the runaround for almost 7 months now to have a new roof system. The deposit I gave will not be refunded according to Gary who schedules everything. He has all the excuses in the book for why they keep delaying the work. After reading all of the bad reviews from people who actually had work done, It’s probably best to take the hit and run.UPDATE: I filed a complaint with the BBB. Response was that I had 3 days to change my mind and get a refund. But the company has basically forever to do the work. You have no rights, and they are taking deposits from people and not returning them. According to 2 other local roofers, they have heard this same story over and over from other customers. Don't do business with these bunch of crooks.

Very pleased with Comfort Cover Systems from start to finish. Salesman and installers were great. The roof was installed in Dec and it is now Feb and time to clean my gutter. Imagine my surprise to find that after the roof install I have very little access room to clean my gutters. I have 5" gutters and the new roof overhangs 3" leaving only a 2" opening to clean them, which I have to do 3 times a year. There is no way to get my hand in to clean them out. I don't know if this is the case for all installs or not. I uploaded a picture but apparently it didn't make to the post.

Horrible Company to deal with and do not honor their work!! As I have read more reviews as long as they are paid that is all they care about!!!!!Good day, I am writing this statement as I still to date April 16, 2023 have not received a phone call to address my leaking roof!I spoke with the Vice President Becky a little over a week ago and after telling her the whole story of my experience with Comfort Cover, she said someone would be in contact with me in a few days. Becky also said she had not even been told about this situation and this is the first she was hearing of this. Gary the office manager told me that he had been in contact with the owners already and they were not going to tend to any of my issues. I know I am not your only customer, however, after a three month wait, I should have at least a return call for when someone to be coming out to check this issue.Ok, I had a new roof put on my home by this company coming on three years this summer. During the installation the workers damaged two of my bedroom ceilings. I called the office and told Gary of this, and he had Chris came out and took pictures. I was told someone would be in contact with me. I did not hear from anybody, and I started calling the office and asking about this. To date no one has called me back. I have called at least once since this. I have been told numerous stories, pictures were lost, file is lost, Chris will be back out and the stories keep coming. Gary’s last story was he was in contact with the owner, and she was not going to take care of this as so much time had passed. I have been in contact with this company each month since installation and this is how you are going to handle this unacceptable. Becky said she had not even been informed of this, so my question is who is LIEING!!!!Gary states he is embarrassed to even speak to me due to how Comfort Covers is treating me. If true fix this problem. Now the leak, I have been calling weekly for over three months to get this leak looked at. I am told Chris will call me and come to check it. I to date have not had a returned call for a time or date. We have had numerous rainstorms and have acquired a lot of damage for all the leaking. The wallboard is pealing and bubbling also there is an electrical socket in this area, and I fear of a fire.I need help PLEASE!!!! Honor your work!!!!

Absolutely HORRIBLE customer service!! Have been trying for over two months to get them to correct two vents they messed up during installation. I explained I need this corrected as I have renters coming in. I have yet to even get a call back from whoever is in charge of customer service. It amazes me that this person still has their job! Don’t waste your money and time!!

If you are thinking of going with this company- my advice is to GO ELSEWHERE. After initial contact - I set up an appt with their salesmen. He was very good at closing the deal. The problem was- he promised me 8 weeks (at best) - and 10-12 average case (he had done other units in the park I am in - so trusting he knew the time frame) After about a month I got a call from the company to confirm my info. Which seemed like good news even though they couldn't tell me when my actively leaking roof would be fixed or any sort of info regarding install (in my mind though- things were moving....). Months and months and months passed. No communication from the company AT ALL- (and very slick that the salesperson does not share his contact info w you - he is long gone after you sign). After being more then patient- I started to check in with comfort cover. (never answer their phone by the way) Usually it would take 3 times calling to get a call or message back. And the reply would be basically no info. They claim they cant look you up in their system. (?????) Then they blame permits. but cant check on them. (and if permits take 7 months- why dont you share that with me????? and not promise 8-12 weeks) I said to them, if you cant look me up in your system or look up my permits, how can I be assured I am even in your system or they are filed??? (to me this felt very messy). Flash forward, 7 months later- NOTHING. No roof and no communication at all from this company. I finally spoke to a manager- who assured me things are moving. (so I said Id be patient...) But then months and months again go by..... back to NOTHING. Here is the thing. If Comfort Cover maybe communicated with their customers- maybe we could understand if things will take a long time. Dont promise 8-12 weeks to close a sale!!!!. I ultimately was forced to cancel because this company feels so unorganized and did not come through with anything they promised (7 months I was patient- and I needed my leaking roof fixed!). After canceling- I did receive a refund... however, mysteriously minus 100. I questioned them and they said 100.00 was kept for paperwork/ permits. How do I even know when or if a permit was filed? (Ive asked for proof of a reasonable permit date- and if its around the time I signed the contract great. But I suspect not) At the very least- why not even let me know why you held it back from the start so I didnt have to contact you 4 times to hear why you shorted my refund. My advice, READ THE REVIEWS- you will see my experience is the same as many others.

I absolutely rate this company 5 stars! The workmanship was outstanding! Workers were polite..worked quickly..did a great clean up job . . Was quite pleased. Original roof over done about 5 yrs ago and most recently had additional work done due to storm damage. The people at this company were great to work with! Would absolutely recommend Comfort Cover for your roofing needs.

Got my roof replaced with this company and now after the job is done and after reading all the negative reviews I’m disappointed in myself. I have a leak every time it rains a pool of water comes in the house. I have been contacting for weeks they always say someone will call you but it’s but it’s been over 2 months since the job was done still nothing. On top of that really sloppy and messy work cigarette buds were all over the place and food trash , let’s not mention they took 9 months just to even come do the job. Terrible service honestly please DONT use this company at all.

I signed a contract May 12, 2022 and paid a deposit for a manufactured home roofing system. I was told the work would be completed by the end of August, 2022. I received one follow-up call in October, but still no date for installation. My skylight developed a leak and water intrusion was ruining my ceiling--I had to hire someone else. I called Comfort CoverSystems twice when I discovered the leak and left a voicemail, but didn't hear back. I have submitted complaint to Better Business Bureau.Update January 2023. I was told they would install a skylight free of charge because of the long wait. I agreed to the skylight valued at $500, the proce offered to me at the time of contract in May 2022.The roofover was installed last week in January 2023. No skylight was installed. They said it was on backorder and would be in next week. So, instead they gave me a $300 credit. Overall, very disappointing experience with representatives often giving misleading and conducting business in an unethical manner.

I gave a $1,000.00 deposit on May 31, 2021 for a leaky roof. Mr. Geoft Wright came to my home and did the paperwork. Mr. Wright told me 4-6 weeks. I waited 90 days. Called the company. I spoke to Mr. Robert Mays Junior he stated they cannot do the job till 2023. Then transferred me to Mr. Gary Smith MGR. He said the refund check is on Rebecca Mays desk ready for signing. After a week I called back and this time the secretary said they’re not available. Now I have a roof that has done more damage for the wait. Horrible experience. Apparently they’ve been doing this around the Sarasota area.

The wait was worth the time! Wow, everything they said was done right to there word! Great roofing system - cool to the touch, looks great, cuts down sound, looking forward to keeping more A/C in by having this roofing system instilled! Are You Looking for a great manufactured home roofing system look no further- Comfort Cover Roofing is your company- just be patient it takes them a while to get your roof done “time I mean waiting” it only took 3 hours to instill and you won’t go wrong!

The worst experience ever! Started my roof (on a small park model) in March. Told me they had completed it and wanted the rest of the money. I got up on a ladder to check the roof prior to paying and found they only completed 3/4 of the roof! I called and told the manager and he keep trying to argue, saying that that was ALL they were going to do. I called the housing inspector who came out, looked at the roof and failed their inspection. They waited 6 months before coming back out. I would NEVER recommend this company.

After 4 months trying to get a roof replacement I cancelled my agreement and was told my $500 deposit was non-refundable. Gary informed me the deposit was used to buy material for other jobs. Look out for this company they’ll play with your money and never commit to completing the job. Very unprofessional way to operate a business.

this company does not stand behind there work at allif your elderly and a woman like in my moms case they will take advantage of you and install the bare minimum and the cheapest material they have on hand.I have been in the construction trade for 44 years and know what I am talking about.the roofing system they installed is not the right roofing system for her application.it's unfortunate I live 15,000 miles and couldn't of been there to at least supervise these clowns!I would not use this outfit to roof my storage shed!don't take my word for it do your own research. check out the other reviews.I wish Mom did.NOT RECOMENDED! STAY AWAY!

My 75 year old in-laws purchased a new roof system earlier this year. During the 3 day install, they busted a hole through the roof decking and all the way through my in-laws ceiling causing a mess of drywall and insulation all over their kitchen. My in-laws have been trying to get this taken care of for months. I have also been trying to assist them. I have left repeated messages for Gary Smith and Rob Mays. I have spoken with them on the phone, multiple times, only to be assured that they will have their service tech "Chris" go out and take a look and that they would take care of everything. Out of 10-12 promised return calls, we have only received 1. My in-laws are elderly and they have a massive hole in the ceiling in their kitchen. Gary and Rob, I ask that you please get this taken care of ASAP. Our next step is the Florida Attorney General. While loading the roof, you obviously overloaded or dropped your roofing materials onto the roof and busted the roof deck sheathing.....and said nothing to anyone...only for my in-laws to return to their home to an absolute mess. That is absolutely not something that goes un-noticed while working on the roof. I spoke with Rob and Gary both last Monday (again) and was promised a return call the following day. A week has passed and that return call never came (again). If I do not hear from you with a commitment to resolution and an action plan, we will begin to escalate the matter.

I had my roof done 2 years ago and I was pleased with the results. I have recommended Comfort Covers to numerous persons. Recently someone I personally know had a roof installed by Comfort Covers. The workmanship is terrible. The customer has been trying to get a hold of someone but has not had any success. Comfort Covers has not tried to contact this person. No money has been paid as of yet. The person wants the roof removed and have another company install a roof. I have as of today advised someone that now has a contract to call and cancel the roof. As far as I am concerned I will never recommend Comfort Covers roofs to any one that lives in the community that I live in now.

This business is a SCAM beware, he didn't deliver on his promises and when asked for a refund he just blocked my number and acted like nothing happened. STAY AWAY SCAM BUSINESS

I thought that I was dealing with an honest family owned business when I agreed to a new roof for my mobile. The salesman was very professional and I signed the contract and deposited $250. Unfortunately I had to postpone the original start date and did so in a timely manner. When the second date approached I was still not in a position financially to start so I then postponed with no set start date. No workers or materials have ever been to my home. Two months ago my wife and I decided to move back north and I called and asked if I could have my deposit returned . I was told that the person on the phone would have to get approval from the owner who was out of the country until the next week. Six weeks later I called back and was told pretty much the same story, (minus the out of country ). It has been two weeks since that conversation and I have heard nothing. Although it may not have a legal obligation to return my deposit, I think it would be the right thing to do. I haven't cost them any more than any customer who does not sign a contract would have after the inspection and estimate. I would definitely have used this company when I return to Fla. but not any longer.

I'm learning that Comfort Cover System's lifetime warranty doesn't mean much if they never respond to requests-for-service calls. I've phoned them four times in the last three weeks. Every time, they promise to get back to me in a day or two, but never do.

The product and workmanship was awesome. I like the fact that they don't bend the covering over the edge and use screws to fasten it to the roof, cleaner install and no chance of the PVC cracking at the bend.My only complaint is that if they tell you they will be out in a certain week and for some reason they can't make it, you receive no phone call letting you know. They need to let you know with a simple phone call. They need to work on keeping the customer informed, this is just good customer service.I have recommended Comfort Covers to many of my neighbors but for some reason they go with another company, why I don't know. Comfort Covers quote (and material quality) was much better for us than the other companies!!!!

My dad was the first in our family to get a Comfort Cover roof - on his mobile home. He was quite happy with it, so when my husband and I needed a new roof back in 2002 or 2003, we also got a Comfort Cover roof - with a lifetime warranty! We've been quite pleased with how well it has held up all these years. My dad's roof recently needed to be redone (not replaced, but redone somehow - I'm not sure exactly what Comfort Cover called it), since his roof had a 15-year warranty rather than lifetime. (It had lasted over 16 years; it just was getting quite thin in spots, and we were worried about leaks.) I am extremely pleased with how Comfort Cover worked with my dad (and me, on his behalf) to get the best price in a way he can afford it (and not have to pay interest). Cathy Chamberlin, especially, was very kind and helpful, explaining everything more than once - and very patiently. I am very pleased with Comfort Cover - not only their product, but also their customer service.

I was required by my insurance company to upgrade my roof. Comfort Covers installed a roof over and the job was absolutely flawless. My electric bill dropped by 35%. I have recomended them many times, and every one that hired them has thanked me for the reference.

They spent nearly half a day fixing my old roof because of an old leak. Then they installed the new roof. The guys did a nice job and the company gives us a great warranty. One last comment. I am tired of hiring people where their language is disgusting. The two guys that installed my roof were professionals they did a good job without using poor language.

I am extremely happy with my new roof! I was given a VERY good price. At least $2 thousand dollars less than my neighbors. They had their's done by a different company. I will also be worry free with BIG the life time warranty, and that will be my children's lifetime as they are on the title. Also a 15 year transfer if I or my children sellA BIG PLUS! !

BOO! The sales force signed a contract with my mother, an elderly woman, and had her pay $4000 down on May 1. The roof is leaking inside the house, and several calls to them and they state that they are still booking February's owners. No roof in sight for my mother. Upon request to cancel the contract, the response is 25% cancellation fee. And, 'good luck' was the response to my comment about taking them to court for inability to deliver on the contract and elderly abuse.

Don’t ever buy from these guys they promise installation in 3 months and never deliver. Was promised an install in August from a contract signed in May. Company could not give me an install date in August claiming rain set them back. Got another company to do the same install within 30 days. They will not refund a $1000 deposit. Rude and uncivilized when asked over phone and in writing (no response) for refund. Worst company I have ever dealt with.

Our experience was complete satisfaction. Comfort Cover Systems was recommended by a neighbor. Obviously, we felt positive in referring Comfort Cover to our friends and other neighbors. In doing so we gave 4 families this recommendation. Comfort Cover has failed to keep their promise to these families and keep giving excuses for the delay in installation. The excuses are adding up over a period of months and I want Comfort Cover to know I will not recommend the company again unless they make good on their commitment. My name is George and I live in Towerwood Mobile Home community in Lake Wales, FL

I am in Fort Myers and was badly in need of a roof. I met with Richard Desrosiers who quoted, too photos and video, proposed financing and install. The installation team was efficient, on time, worked quickly and explained everything. I was very pleased. Then I got my first full month billing from FPL and although Richard had quoted about a 10-30% savings, he was wrong! It was a full 38% reduction from the prior month and it was hotter! Thank you Comfort Cover Systems.

I would not recommend Comfort Coversystems to anyone. They will tell you what you want to hear to make a sale. Im still trying to get my roof repaired since Irma. Filing a complaint with the BBB. Read the fine print!!! The roof itself is NOT life time guaranteed. Only the manufacturer's materials are for life. An act of god is not covered!!!
