They put a roof on my home and 3 months later it leaked. They blamed my chimney but I had a chimney company out and they said it wasn’t my chimney. I sent the eval.for the chimney to there office. Matt came out after several calls to the office of which they were very rude and condescending. Matt told me I could have a new roof put on and has never called me back. They overcharged me for my roof and didn’t stand by there work.

UPDATE! The owners wife called me right after I posted this and apologized and is having a detailed receipt delivered personally to our home tomorrow. I think some things will change to the positive as they are reorganizing for that purpose. I would call Parliament again if I had any additional roof repairs needed with a documentation of the final cost.I am reading some of these lower reviews and it is my story as well. The warranty with the fine print on the back kills me! They told me that my roof would have to be inspected once per year which is different than what they have told others. So...we had a leak in our backroom and called to have someone come out. I was told it would be $75.00 to come and if they could fix it for that then we would be square. The nicest guy came out and assessed it and began fixing it saying he could do it easily. He was here total and max of an hour maybe. When he was finished and called in to his company to say he done, he was reamed out by them and told us the amount I owed was $400.00. They came to the house to get the check after running my CC and not being clear about the amount of the surcharge. No receipt was given at the time the check was handed to them November 30th. My husband has called 4 times now; December 8, 21, 27th and again today January 10. The first 3 times we were told it would be put in the mail, today my husband called to go pick it up himself when he was told everything was packed as they are moving yet again to another address. Still paper? Not on computer? They were not helpful to put it nicely and blamed the Post Office. They did a beautiful job originally and I was very happy, It's too bad they don't take pride in previous work done and gouge any repairs needed. Michaelle & Scott

Everyone from Will to Joseph and espcially the work crew did an outstanding job. I found the products they offered where of a better quality then what I have seen roofers in the past do. My wife and I love the new roof we have with Parliment. Excellant work and thanks again.

Great company. The sales person was at our house in Polk County until after 7:30 pm and they still were able to send a crew out and do our roof first thing the next morning. Easy to get a hold of and very willing to work with us. Highly recommend.

The warranty offered by Parliament Roofing and Construction is a lie. They charged me $350.00 to repair a two inch cut in the outer layer of my roof. The Operations Manager Breana basically called me a liar when I relayed to her how durable the sales person described the roof materials they planned to use. I questioned his description of how safe my roof would be even though I have a Giant Oak. He showed me how flexible the outer layer was and assured me the lower layer would flex and absorb the weight of a large branch. In the end I ended up with a well (heat) insulated roof that is more susceptible to storm damage than traditional materials. If for some reason, you choose to use this company you need to record the sales pitch and stick to the traditional roofing products. The 20 year materials and workmanship warranty they offer is useless, if they can say minor damage caused during a storm not covered and charge such high prices for a repair on a two inch cut in the outer protective layer.This was all on top of having to wait 3 days for an appointment, which they never showed up for. I ended up waiting an extra two days, during which time it rained. Thankfully the lower level material seems to have held. After having a very contentious and argumentative conversation with The Operations Manager; Briana, I requested to be contacted by the owner of the company, which as of yet, has not happened. DO NOT, use this company. They have very gifted sales people, the telephone operators are very pleasant, but they lie about the strength and quality of the materials they use and do not honor the warranty.Services: Roof repair, Roof installation

There a scam they send a truck full of Mexicans out to tear your roof off then they bring out the paperwork with a ridiculous interest rate out the day after the roof put on. Use the roofing company on 52 in Hudson Pat Hlaska is the last name. They're the best company around Pat's Hlaska family company but don't be ripped off by Parliament roofing they're a scam and they're a joke when it comes to roofing don't use Parliament roofing go with bay to bay roofing everybody should use bay to bay roofing in Hudson on State road 52 don't use parlament roofing bay to bay all the way for roofing

A salesman came by mid April to discuss the roof replacement, however the salesman failed to include the lanai which was merely 20x20 screened in porch, which I thought should have been covered in the estimate of $15,500, aloso they charged an addition $1,800 for plywood and I don't think that additional material would have made much of a difference, also the crew did not clean up properly, they left at least 50 roofing nails in the driveway and also they damaged the AC line on top of our roof by driving a nail right through, also we contacted Paralment to advise them of this, we were put on hold several times, by the time they answered they said that Brandon the Project Manager would be by to take a look of which he failed to do and reimburse us for the damage which was another $600 to fix it, We would NOT recommend this company Ever AgainServices: Roof inspection, Roof repair, Roof installation

Don Brooks came out and explained everything in detail, was very professional, answered all our questions we had, we showed him our current situation and he said that needed fixed Asap, we haven't heard back from financing yet meanwhile it's raining every day and it rains outside and inside my room hope to hear back from you guys soon... we got approved for financing yesterday still waiting to hear back from Parlament Roofing it's raining every day and my leak drips into my bedroom....hoping soon....update called parlament roofing this am they was awesome informed me they was pulling my permits for our new roof now and next week would begin working but sent someone to tarp roof to stop leak for now thank you so much!!!

Never in my life have a dealt with such a shady company. My roof was bad and I had 3 bids on it. The first was 9,600 not including wood the 2nd was 12,500 including 40 sheets of plywood and then parliament came out and was 11,600. The sales man told me that the 12,500 was basically bull and I didn't need that much wood he would be shocked if I even need a few. So I did go with them at the 11,600 and they told me I was approved for financing at this time they tarped my roof and had a start date. The morning it was supposed to start they told me my financing didn't go thru even though my credit was good my debt ratio was to high. So I panicked and got approved for a credit card advancement for 10,600 with no interest. With that being said I called them and asked if they would do it for that because that was all I had. I was so happy they said yes and they did start that day. We had a few issues they went through the roof and no one was home and they didn't call to let me know about the damage they did. We found it at midnight and needless to say no one answered which I will attach picture's of what they left and I had to fix it myself because there drywall guy couldn't get out there that week. They did give me 400.00 for it and I had to replace a computer and pay the difference of repairs. After the job was done they told me I owed 5,000 more for wood. They said the roof was bad of course I knew it was bad that's why they are there. I didn't pay them the 5000 they all ready had the 10,6000 I didn't think it was fair but I did offer them 1900,00 because that was the difference of the other roofer price including the wood and I have that in writing. They said no and now they put a lien on my house which I will get an attorney and fight it but the aggravation is unbelievable I didn't sign a new contract and the other one is void so I don't know they did this but be aware of this company. I wish I would of read the review before i met them.so 3 years later this incompetent company is sueing me. I can’t even believe this. They are literally the most dishonest company I have ever seen.

We had a new roof installed 6 years ago. The sales person that sold it to us was very convincing. The MAIN reason we went with this company was because he said it came with a Lifetime Warranty on any leaks. He was very detailed on what our warranty would cover. Installation went fine and I will not even complain about the price. 6 years later with all of these storms, we have a slight leak in our laundry room. No worries, we will just call them because we have the warranty. NOPE! Read the very fine print on the back of the contract they said ....because WE didn't call THEM to come out and inspect the roof every two years, the warranty is completely void and useless. The sales man was in our house for over an hour and NEVER stated that and sure didn't point out the "fine print". THEY never once reached out to us to offer to inspect THEIR work every two years. So basically they sell you on the idea of a Lifetime Warranty but had no intention of being there for it once we needed it. AND this is only a 6 year old roof and shouldn't even be leaking in the first place.Service: Roof installation

Upfated:this is a true review and a true statement. I called at 7am to address this abuse and she would not give me a name of who to speak to that she was taking a message for. And that person who came in at 9 did not bother to call me back. Do not use this companySomeone else posted on here on this company about scamming the elderly and got blasted by the owner. That post is true, they send a girl on a Saturday to only go to elderly people door and tell them they have issues with their roof and that they help file claims with their insurance then Schedule an estimator. Then when you as a granddaughter call to address they act like they have no clue. 100% taking advantage of elderly

We had a roof installed and the roof itself looks fine. We called twice and left a message both times. D NO INE ever called us back. It’s been over two months. We had nails left in the driveway and garbage and debris left all over the yard. They were quick to cash the checks in less than 12 hour though. The sales paraon stated that they would contact the insurance company to provide the paperwork for the new roof. They never did. We found out because the insurance company gave us notice of cancellation instead. Amazingly poor service for a nearly $20k roofService: Roof installation

I made an appointment with Parliament for a roof replacement estimate. The salesman came on schedule. His first question "could I make financial decisions on my own?" That, to me, is insulting. I should have shown him the door right then. He proceeded to give me the sales pitch. He gave me a price (which was more than twice what the next company quoted). He told me they would finance the job. I balked when he gave me the monthly payment amount (which over 7 years would have doubled his roof quote). He then called the office and somehow got the monthly payment reduced by $400 a month-for the same 7 years. Then insisted that I confirm that day so they could keep their crews busy. I have a very low pitch roof that can not accommodate shingles-the material he showed me that they would use. Never once did he look at my roof or take any measurements-he just came up with a price and wrote it on a pad of paper. When I asked for the sheet, he refused and told me to take a picture of it with my phone. I have had two other companies come out. They both got up on my roof and have sent me detailed written estimates. .Both estimates were more than $10,000 less than Parliaments estimate-and both have higher ratings. I would say stay as far away from this company as possible.

Wow, I want to give a review of Parlament Roofing. We have an estimate from Community Roofing and thought I would get another one from Parlament since I saw they are doing a job in our park at this time. I call & was given a time for a salesman to come out. Then the manager Andrea, looked up my property “on the public records”. She then got on the phone to say they would not come out unless my husband was here. I explained he was very sick. I also explained due to his illness I make the decisions. She said they have been “screwed” so many times in places like this, that they won’t come out unless everyone is here. I then ask for the owners name & all she knew was Matt, no last name & did not know how to get in touch with him. Lol. I explained I own my own business and my employees have my name, number, & address at all times.In general, I will not use this company for anything. I did have other things I was going to ask her about, but I will go to another company!!! They must really have a sales pitch!!

I would have given them a 0, but that wasn't a choice. They advertise they will come right out and do an estimate. Put your new roof on the next day. Well, they kept cancelling the appointment, then call and say" their tech doesn't feel the job is right for him", IIf putting on a new roof isn't the right fit for a roofing company, then you have the wrong tech. They need to be sued for false advertising. I also contacted Better Business Bureau. DO NOT waste your time with this company. And yes, both homeowners were there for the appointments that were cancelled!

Had inspector come out yesterday to measure roof, today salesman came and started in what he said would be a 30 - 45 minute presentation. I explained to the gentleman I am an insurance adjuster, I don't need you to explain the roofing process and I am working from home so I don't have time for a detailed presentation, I just need to know the price to decide if I am going with your company or someone else. He started back in to his presentation and then said we'll I can't give you a price without completing my presentation. Haha I'm not buying a timeshare and don't have time for a presentation.

BUYER BEWARE! The Parlament salesman touted the fact that they are the only roofing company to guarantee a 31% reduction in premium. They would document the project with photos and communicate directly with the insurance company. FALSE! He wrote the figures on paper and after making a phone call to the owner, Joe, they agreed to a monthly payment within the budget. I confirmed I would also get the 31% reduction. He did not state they were taking credit for a reduction in premium and quoted the monthly figure $100 less than the actual payment. I asked to take a picture of the paper and was told it was not necessary and the information would all be in the contract. I ignored the warning bells. I contacted the insurance company and was told the roofer/roofing company is not a licensed insurance company therefore they should not provide any percentage of the wind mitigation discount. Also the discount is NOT from the total home policy premium but from the 'Hurricane/windstorm policy premium portion of your premium. I was given a $300 annual discount for replacing the roof when I was guaranteed $1298.00 per year and a wind mitigation inspection was scheduled. The inspector said I would not qualify for an additional discount because it is an older home and the trusses are more than 24" apart. I decided against financing the project through them and advised I had a plan B and would pay the balance in full within a few days. The office staff was so rude and unprofessional that I was appalled. They acted as if they were a collection agency pursuing someone in default. I asked them to write up the agreement under the 90 day same as cash plan and was unable to have a conversation without being berrated and spoken over. It was the worst experience ever. I am satisfied with the roof but probably paid more than I should have. I was responding to the dreaded letter from the insurance company that stated you must provide a roof inspection or replace the roof within 60 days or the policy will not be renewed. In my haste, I proceeded, against my better judgment.Service: Roof installation

They tell you they will give you $200.00 for each referral we referred our neighbor they used parlament to do a new roof told them we referred them have yet to see a cent my neighbor has also called them repeatedly to ask why they haven't kept there promise of $200.00 referral. When I complained, they tried to say I was their competitor who didn’t get the job. I was late getting home from work. Not sure why they wanted you home to make an estimate but I got here and rep was in car waiting. I figured he had it ready for me, but asked if I wanted to reschedule. I was a bit surprised and asked did you do the estimate and he said, we don't need to come here for that we do it by satellite. I asked for the estimate and said it wasn't that simple and he would need to come inside my home to talk to me for 30 -40 minutes. I'm a single woman and I do not want a strange man coming in my home with me grilling me on a high pressured 30 -40 minute sales pitch. Then he asked why I called them and said my friend gave me your add and suggested I get one more estimate since it says we beat legitimate offers. He also got on me when I said I had got 10 estimates and said all estimates should be about the same, yet later said the cost can depend on the quality of the product. It all rubbed me VERY WRONG and I told him I am not interested as I do not feel I can trust this company at all. I want a straight forward company that don't need smoke and mirrors gimmicks. Just heads up if you see this "Too Good To Be True" offer from them giving you $500 off and beating other's estimates. PS. They also asked me on phone if i was married and if anyone else would be involved in the decision to be home too with salesman. So, I guess all working husbands would need to tell their boss I must leave work to be at home for the man to give me a roof estimate. Sure, That will go over so well......

We had a disappointing experience with this company. The final costs ended up being more than we were quoted. We were told at the sales presentation that the price wouldn't go higher than what was quoted - surprise, it did. The workers left cigarette butts in my pool and debris around the yard. A wire has been left dangling from the side of the roof for a month now. I made the construction manager aware of this. He took pictures of it and never got got back to me to take care of it. We were told that after inspection we would receive a call to set up payment arrangements. We are still waiting to have our inspection. A month after signing we receive a bill for the first of the month. The office administrator was rude to my wife on the phone and denied ever talking to my wife - even though we have spoken to her on at least three occasions. I will not be recommending this company to anyone I know.

When I called On Monday 10/5 , was as told Estimator would be out Tuesday 10/6 11-12. I received a call Tuesday confirming my appoint for Wednesday 10/7 at 2:00. I told caller , no my appoint is for Today Tuesday 11-12. Caller apologized but said no, it was put in for Wednesday and no opening for Tuesday. Not a good start. I told her to just cancel appoint then. She called back shortly , had a cancellation for 2:00 did I want. I said would be fine.Then Estimator arrived at 2:00. No name or identification on vehicle. He got out of vehicle , also No ID or Business card offered to me for his identification. AND with COVID Pandemic NO Mask ( I had mine on ) I had to ask him If he was 'Rocky from Parlament"? He said yes he was.I had opened garage door Because as I had told him when Farrell Roofing had been here for estimate they wanted to know if I had any open ceiling areas. He said no , don't need to see. He proceeded to flip through this little notebook with all the things that your company will do and what they offer and how they do this and this. and pointing out that Farrell , would not be doing for me. Poor Business to do , my opinion .. He did NOT go on roof. He ask if I had back porch, I said yes and offered to show, he said didn't NOT need to see...…….?????And THEN on a scratch piece of paper he wrote down a number and said this was my estimate, Not a letter head form, with work to be performed and a break down, warranty info and then a price but a PIECE of scratch paper and it was $10.000.00 !!!! / $11000.00 !! Dollars MORE than other estimates I had gotten. I was SHOCKED !!. He keep talking about how Parlament roof condition will be in 30 years !!!! I am NOT concerned about 30 years from now.. I just need a new roof now,I would NOT recommend This company.

After getting several quotes for a new roof we decided to go with Parlament Roofing. Not because of the price as they were the most expensive of all the estimates we got but because of the gentleman who came to our home and talked about the company and the crews who did the work. He really had us excited about choosing them to do the work. Sadly that is where the excitement ended. It ended up being one fiasco after another. The men were sloppy with the equipment and cleaning up their mess. They left a bunch of nails in both the front and back yard. They put holes in our pool enclosure. When we called and asked them to send them back out to run the magnet over our yard, they cane once and barely went over the yard. We called a second time and got the runaround. We told them about the rips in the enclosure and they sent the roofers out to fix it. What a mess that turned out to be. They supposedly came twice. They always came when no one was home even though we told them we wanted to be there. After much complaining they got in touch with a so called re screening company named Tom Pagan. That’s turned out to be a nightmare as well. When I complained to Parlament Roofing about the gentleman who came out here they were quite eager to tell me that they only contracted him out and had nothing to do with him. I told them they might want to be more selective about who they send to their clients home to fix the mess that they created. Would never recommend Parlament Roofing to anyone. Very disappointed!

I'm not that person that do reviews but this time I had to to a bad reviews to this company the office they don't comunicate with the costumer they suppose to call me to give me a rate because I what to refinance the roof and they started the job in my house without telling me the rate they were going to give me when I call them it was to late they have arrived at my house early in the morning i was working. I had to leave my job that day to get home before they get there but it was to late they had start the job in my roof .And the first thing I told the seller was I don't want to start the job until you guys give me the rate.. I had a horrible experience with this company. Before you get this company to do a job in your house please get a Quote"from other company. 9/9/2021 Update: The completely new roof is installed and has been tested by quite a lot of rain in the last week. No leaks! Stars adjusted accordingly.8/31/2021 Update: Parlament is here now installing a complete new roof. I've updated stars accordingly. They have 2 crews in order to get the job done in one day. Brie and Matt have been in contact since this review was originally published.8/08/2021 As I write this, my spouse is on the roof putting down tarps to stop the leaking roof installed by Parlament in March of 2018. The roof over the back porch began leaking not long after the installation so we called to have it fixed. I have lost count of how many times we’ve called to have it fixed (at least a dozen times). Matt (owner) and other technicians have been here numerous times, spot repaired and even reroofed part of it. We have stains on the kitchen ceiling from one of the repair attempts that caused water to come into the house. I know not what damage this may have caused in the attic space. Not one of the attempts fixed the leaks. In July 2021, they sent a tech to put a tarp over the fireplace chimney. That did exactly nothing. We’ve called since then to say the leaking continues and have been ignored. We spent $17,000 for a shingle roof and a flat roof over a porch on a 1,700 square foot house.Addendum: This was sent to Parlament a week prior to publishing in order to give them a chance to finally rectify this very stressful problem.
