Living in Florida can present some problems for older people. Most people come to work on your home and pray and take advantage. NOT THESE GUYS! They have been a great helping us get our home ready to go on the market. Little things here and there, some fascia work, some outside trim work, and then bigger things. New bathroom shower, new drywall and popcorn patch work in garage, then repainting entire ceiling. We had the pleasure of Tyler, being our person for everything, very well mannered, helpful, always there when he says he will be. If something has held him up you will get a call or a text message. Always double checking to make sure you are happy with how things are going, if there is any problem. Just a joy to work with. You need to use these guys, prices are good, walk through every step with you. I will NEVER call anyone while we are still living here other than The Handyman Company. Been a pleasure to do business with them, so much so we have found more we want done.Thank you for being honest, loyal, on time and having such skilled young people like Tyler working for you. And let’s not leave Mr. Mike Fine out either, comes to see what you need done, listens to what you tell him and then sits down and talks with you about the ways to go about it. Second time I used The Handyman and both times received prompt, friendly, helpful estimates and then a fabulous work product. I asked them to paint my 1150 square foot condo and it was done in two days. The walls and baseboards look great and the clean up made it seem nothing had even happened. Really happy with this company, their work, and their people!

We had a great experience. It was really great to find a company that would handle several different jobs inside our home. We needed to have a bathroom towel rack reinstalled, as well as several rooms that needed new drywall/painting from previous water damage. Leo was very quick and efficient, explained everything to us and was done much quicker than expected. We will be using Handyman Company again.

They sent someone to give a quote. Spent time walking the person through what needed to be done. This field tech wouldn't give us a quote in person and said the company would call later. Got a text from the company saying they wanted to send someone else out the next day to look at the job and give us a quote because the field tech they sent out couldn't do the job. Strange set up and unclear of the purpose of sending a field tech if no quote could be given.

Needed my utility room storage closet modified. Existing closet wall was too close to my circuit breaker box. Rep from the company visited my home and assessed the the job and we went over what was needed to be done. He gave me a fair price and scheduled the date for this job.A couple of weeks later, Tim from the Handyman Co. arrived and informed me what he was going to do. The job lasted 4 days, and Tim informed me, several times along the job, what he was going to do. He was very professional and polite. Everything was done with care. The work is solid, and I was very pleased with the job. I will use The Handyman Co. in the future.

Handyman company assisted with a bathroom shower stall correction. They were so easy to work with and quoted a very fair price. Handyman Mason Rodgers, upon arrival to start the job, was very friendly, professional and trustworthy. He commenced the job and completed it in a more than timely manner. He explained what he was going to do, when he was going to do it, and before he did it so we could fully understand the process. Mason completed the job with the perfection I expected. There were no concerns with anything he did. He also kept the bathroom clean as he went along, which shows his total comittment to his job. I would TRUST the Handyman company, especially Mason with other jobs in our home. Great job guys.Ryan

I was working with another Jacksonville, Fl company and asked for a handyman repair option. The Handyman Company was recommended. What a company! The particular repairman visiting my property was Scotty. He was awesome! He is professional, courteous, knowledgeable in carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, etc. You have a problem, he can fix it. He was thorough, checking potential problems with other parts of my home. You can't go wrong with THC. If you want a project done quickly and right, call THC. They don't exaggerate on their web site when they claim quick response and accurate repairs. I highly recommend them and will seek them out the next time I need a repair.

I recently had some work done in my home. Lance came out and took care of the issues, and even recomenned something I hadnt thought of, in talking with him, we decided to go ahead and do the install. It is a perfect fit and we absolutley love the screen door, which was not part of the orignal things we wanted to do. He laid a sub flooring material then put down luxury vinyl laminate flooring and it came out beautiful! I’m getting many compliments. The free estimate was done quickly at my convenience and the work was scheduled without hesitation. They are so easy to work with from the office employees to the workers. Gary and his crew did an exceptional job. The prices were also the best I could find when shopping around for quotes. I had one company estimate $400 for half of the work I needed done. The Handyman Company did EVERYTHING I needed done to my ceilings/drywall for close to that price. I will highly recommend these guys in the future to anybody in need of repairs and I will be using them myself.Thank you again for amazing service!

We had a very good experience with the Handyman Company. Their customer service was by far the most customer friendly people I had dealt with after calling at least 12 different places looking for countertop repair specialists. They were able to schedule a free quote based on my availability and the specialist that came out even provided me tips on some of the easy things I can do myself that would save money on the project. He completed the work later in the week and only took an hour. He didn't exceed his quote either! I would use them again in a heartbeat if there is something in the house I cannot do myself.

This was the second time we’ve used The Handyman Company since recently moving to the area. The first time was for fence installation, this most recent time was to put together a large, wooden outdoor swing set/playground. Both times, Jason has come to our home to complete these tasks. Though he did a great job on the fence, he really went above and beyond with the swing set assembly. He worked diligently, for hours on end, in less than ideal weather conditions to put it together. Not only has he shown excellent work ethic, he’s very personable and professional. Because of his fantastic work, we will definitely be calling The Handyman Company again in the future.

We had a problem initially with the company sending the wrong person to do the job that was unable to work electrical or give us an estimate to install our dining room lamp. Company tried to schedule of for next week with the right installer. That was not acceptable as we have a dinner party this Thursday night. I was very upset with this company and gave it 1 star review. The manager read it and contacted us to correct the situation. MIchael came to install our dining room lamp today and did a great job. He was professional and we are very pleased. Thank you!

A handyman or person is just that. Change a light bulb, paint a wall, install a fan.However this business claiming they are capable of doing a bathroom remodel is not right.I asked for a bid on a simple bath remodel. The number they gave me was quite high based on industry standards. The labor based on their time they expected to complete was roughly a $1,000 a day.Even worse , they threw in an Astrick stating a drop vent that may need to be moved will cost more.This business has a place in the market, quick handy type workHowever, advertising or even trying to sell more than that is simply not right

Gary was totally professional, did a great job with my drywall and baseboards, swept up after himself and stuck to his estimate. He made sure to call before arriving too. I'll start with the positives -- the "100% Satisfaction Guaranteed" banner on their web-site is pretty much true. The 3 people I dealt with directly we pleasant, courteous, and professional.Now, the negatives...I hired The Handyman Company to do some tile work in my bathroom -- the 60+ year old tile in the shower needed replacing. I was going to be out of town the following week, so that was a convenient time for them to do it. The price was rather high, but I needed it done quickly.I got home a week later. Every surface in my house was covered in a layer of tile dust. The screens in the bathroom and kitchen windows had dust prints in the shape of a fan -- so the worker(s) knew it was a problem.The tile work itself was shoddy; wavy grout lines, exposed cut edges, tiles that were sticking out at the corner, others that were twisted. They did not clean off the old calking before putting down new, left trails of grout or thinset on the floor, and just did not have any concern about the condition they were leaving my home in. It was just a very amateurish job from start to finish.They also filled my trashcan and recycle bin with the debris from demo etc. even though there was a $100.00 disposal fee (which was later removed).I contacted the company, and the gentleman who gave me the quote got back with me quickly - came out to see the work, and agreed it was badly done. There was never any hassle or push-back on that front, and they agreed to completely re-do the work.They sent out a different person to tear down and re-do the work. He did a fantastic job. Kept the house clean, and and the tile work looks fantastic.Then the final bill came. It was several hundred dollars higher than expected. I had anticipated it would go up, but was told initially the deposit "should more than cover" the cost of materials. Instead, the cost of materials was quite a bit more than the deposit. They did adjust that down quite a bit, but it was still higher than I had expected.So, in summary -- Excellent problem resolution, but there wouldn't have been any problem if they had not sent out unqualified people in the first place, and if they had better managed the expectation for "hidden costs." All in all, what should have been about a $1000-1500 job cost me about $2400 and 3+ weeks of frustration.

We went ahead and Rafael finished the work close to the estimated time. He did a great job and we are happy with the results. I will hire him again when we need more work done.
