Hired Kenny of K&S roofing to repair a roof leak at my home. The leak was so bad that my ceiling caved in in one of our bedrooms.Spoke with Kenny in the morning, he passed by the same day, and we came to an agreement regarding the price. My mom called to get her roof repaired, he came right away as he said, I even spoke to him he said he will lift the shingles and seal where the nails were so the leak will not come through, this man this not lift the shingles as he said, instead he put caulk and then plastered it with buck, he did a horrible job. We had a leak a few months ago on our flat roof and I did a google search for roofers in my area - I found K & S roofing and I'm glad that I did - Kenny arrived within the hour as he said, inspected the roof himself, quoted a reasonable amount for the job and then one of his colleagues arrived to work on the roof and even sealed a bit more of our roof without me asking (and didn't charge me extra for it either). I hired K& S Roof repair to make sure the flat roof areas of my house where in good shape for the wet season coming up. They looked everything over and recommended sealing and caulking the flashing was needed but said that overall the roofs were in good shape. Several years ago following one of the hurricanes, our roof had to be replaced. Not long after, we were having leaks! I called the roofer and they were out of business. I then called K&S, and Kenny, the owner/operator of the company came out to inspect the roof. Sure enough, the "new" roof was a terrible job. I don't know how it passed inspection. I called this company because of a leak. Kenny’s service on the phone was not the best. He told me the inspection/visit had a charge, which I refused to pay, at the end he agreed and told me he was sending somebody to check. Long story short, he sent a friend (Willie), owner of a different company, which told me he was working for K&S. He came to “fix” the roof the next day. I thought everything was ok so accepted to pay. He was requesting the check to be paid to him, which I refused because I had hired K&S. The next day the leak was worse. I don’t know how many times I had to call these guys to come fix after I had paid. They finally came and did something, but not what was promised. At the end, I had to hire somebody else.
