I had One Stop Construction remodel 2 bathrooms and a galley kitchen in my condo. I would like to say up front that the end result was a quality job that was managed very well by my project manager (Mike). Mike is an excellent project manager that was very responsive and kept me informed no matter if the news was good or disappointing. The project took much longer than expected and the process was a grueling one. The time between providing my deposit to the start of demolition was 8 months. The project’s estimated time of completion provided by Jesus, the owner, was approximately 6 weeks. I thought that was overly optimistic so I doubled the estimate and had 12 weeks in my head. The project ultimately took 20 weeks to complete. One Stop Construction uses subcontractors for virtually all the project components. The scheduling of the subcontractor’s time proved to be the most frustrating aspect of the project. Some of these subcontractors were excellent craftsman, some others… not so much. There were gaps of multiple weeks when the project did not get worked on. The juggling of resources between projects gave me the impression at times that One Stop was flying by the seat of their pants.If you do decide to use One Stop Construction, I would recommend insisting on a very detailed quote. There were items that were discussed as included during the original walk through with the owner but not detailed in the contract that were later determined to be my responsibility to purchase. If you are willing to ride out long delays and more than the usual ups & downs of the construction process, I would recommend One Stop Construction. You will ultimately be happy with the end result.

I was recommended One Stop Construction on account of their expertise and I couldn’t be happier with the end result. The owner of the company (Jesus) was happy to meet at a time convenient for me, break down the reason my bathroom ceiling was dripping water and flooding my floor, and quickly take care of it with a minimal invasive procedure on the tile and ceiling that would’ve normally involved breaking down an entire wall to fix.I could not be happier with their services and I will be using them in the future again, and recommending them to everyone who needs work done in their home!

We recently moved to a new home that needed work . After reading lots of different reviews we decided to give one-stop a try. They rebuilt a bathroom the kitchen and all the floors. I was always called when they were on the way. I was asked every step of the way on each project if this is exactly what I want and was it what I was expecting. When I asked for something extra or any change I was able to get it with no problem. All the work was done quickly and timely.We liked him so much that when I had a problem with another home he was the first person I called and while on vacation he answered and helped me. We hired OSC for an addition to our home. Immediately after signing and paying our first payment, we lost communication with the owner ( no answers to texts, emails, phone calls). His permit runner made a ton of simple mistakes that I as a first time home owner am still paying for. When I asked the owner why so many months would go by with no response from the permit runner, why so many small mistakes delaying the process were being made he insulted me and my husband calling us names and refusing to complete the process. It it now 1.5 years later and the city of miami is still finding mistakes his permit runner made - missing engineering pages that were completed but not uploaded, missing categories for review when submitting plans. A project that should have taken 6 months tops has now tripled in time due to these mistakes. We spoke to two other companies who moved our project along in different phases and the experience was night and day.Update in August to say the architect he works with is also very sloppy with no attention to detail adding in “default” things without consulting. She designed a tub under a window and put a wall mounted faucet but there is no space for that as designed. She didnt consult with us on any of the details she committed us to in the plans like lighting fixture placement, drain type, faucets, etc. These are the kind of details you rely on a company for.The owner just responded that he’s not affiliated with his own permit runner which is laughable. Not only did he contract this permit runner, but he defended his errors 3 times and even with the last big mistake he refused to take accountability. Any business owner who can’t take accountability for the small stuff, should not be trusted to take accountability when big things happen.

J provided the best customer service I've experienced and was fanatical about followup to make sure I was totally pleased with the work. If I ever needed any further construction I would definitely call One Stop Construction.

One Stop Construction remodeled my two bathrooms, their workers are all very professional and respectful. They finished the bathrooms in a timely manner as promised. My husband is very picky with details, they did everything to satisfy him. I would strongly recommend this company because nowadays is so hard to find a trustworthy company with honest workers. We especially like Thomas, he is very smart and can install anything by just reading the manuals. Jesus is helping us on our next project, we are installing a new outdoor deck. Can’t wait to have it done so that we can enjoy it with our families.

Hired One Stop Construction in May 2019 for an addition remodel and roof work. Was informed by Jesus the owner the work will take 3 to 4 months for completion. By the end of September, the work was not completed as scheduled. I always had to be on top of him and the contractor for progress status. The following year by March, the work was nearly completed but the pandemic occurred and everything had to shut down so work stopped. The work was contracted to be finished in 2019. Not until May 2020 is when we received the final CO for the work that was promised over 6 months prior. Besides the work delay, we had other issues such as waiting for their workers for certain jobs as framing & electrical. Having issues with other contractors they hired. They are good-hearted individuals but for the work I would not hire or recommend for hire.

My corner home was damaged by a vehicle which resulted in major structural damages and as a result of the damages, the house was deemed an unsafe structure by the Miami Dade Building department. We were very fortunate to hire One Stop Construction Inc, they helped us through this difficult time in our life to obtaining the proper structural plans required, repair all damages to Miami Dade Building codes and closed out all permits. They were not very professional, it was my first time redoing a pool and they hired sloppy contractors, they did bad pavements, it flooded, then they never acid wash or sealed and we spent a pretty penny. They came out to the property 3 times and I'm still very unhappy....
