Destin Roofing did a great job on repairing a lightning strike and replacing the entire roof of our home, a tall Victorian with some challenging features. They were professional and helpful from the start with a comprehensive estimate to the finish with clean-up. We'll definitely use them for our future roofing needs.

Wish I could give them 0 stars for the extremely disrespectful and unprofessional conversation I had with Chris on Wednesday. Called multiple roofing companies for quotes and Chris from Destin roofing shows up 30 minutes early to his appointment while I’m with another roofer. I went to speak to him and he immediately tells me I’ll be out of warranty if I let another roofer up on the roof. I was still waiting for the roofing permit to be pulled and asked him out of warranty for what? Did you build my roof? Then he backtracks and is like uhh I’m not sure, can’t answer that. Then proceeds to tell me 5 times in a matter of a minute that we had an appointment and agreement and that I should have not called another roofing company. He was extremely smug talking to me and I called him out on his attitude. I have a lot going on and in panic mode with this roof. I can’t believe you employ people to lie about being out of warranty if another roofer is up there, without knowing if you built it, and make your potential clients feel bad about getting another quote? Come to find out they didn’t build it and I will NEVER call them again. Do not go to this company!!!

We needed to replace our 20+ yr old tile roof with dimensional asphalt shingles. Our HOA only allows certain roofers to perform roofing in our development. We got quotes from several of the approved roofing companies and Destin Roofing had the best quote. I checked them out on the BBB and was pleased to see that they were a member in good standing.I spoke to Iris, the owner as we discussed several roofing, venting and repair options. She was extremely helpful, knowledgeable and worked with me on schedule.We knew we had some damage to the roofing plywood. They removed all bad sections, doing a good job with tight fit on the replacement plywood. They installed the self seal water and ice sealant in valleys.They got the project completed quicker than promised, did not damage the yard or landscaping and did a good job on the roof.Iris provided 30+ photos of the work in progress and the finished product. The photos proved helpful for the inspector who provided the inspection afterwards for the wind mitigation report.I would recommend Iris and her crews for anyone needing roof repair, replacement or new construction.

I needed a local roofer ASAP to fix a roof so we could get insurance on a townhouse in Shalimar. I called at least 10 roofers and only got their voicemails. Destin Roofing was my next one to call, Iris the owner answered and she had someone out the next day to look at the roof and give me an estimate. We agreed on the amount for the work and they started and finished the following day. The work was excellent and the man was great and courteous! I had an inspection done on the roof by the end of the week and we were able to get our insurance in place right away! I would highly recommend Destin Roofing, Iris and her staff! She was sympathetic with my urgent situation, professional and got her staff out to me pretty quickly! Not one of those other 10 roofers ever called me back!!! Shout out to Destin Roofing….. you all are lifesavers and AWESOME….. I highly recommend them! Don’t waste your time, just call Destin Roofing, you will be so glad you did!!!

Destin Roofing is an exceptional 5-Star company. They did a first-class job in every respect when they replaced our roof in 2003. So, in June 2023 after a large hickory tree fell onto our roof during a severe thunderstorm, causing structural damage and multiple leaks, I drove to the Destin Roofing office to talk face-to-face with Iris, the owner. She sensed my stress and immediately adjusted her schedule to have a temporary patch installed that same day. Then, only two days later, a 7-man team arrived and replaced our entire 20-year-old roof in a few days, working until sunset each day.Destin Roofing’s quick response and their highly professional job reflect a “family culture” that Iris has instilled in her employees over the years under her leadership. I would especially like to mention Chris who came to the house to assess the work needed and recommend options, Rodney who prepared a comprehensive proposal and answered my questions, and Eric who was the on-site superintendent leading the roofing team. As the client, Destin Roofing made me feel like I was a member of their “family” during the entire process.I highly recommend Destin Roofing as a first choice for roof installations and repair work.

We had noticed staining on sheetrock from a water leak. The Destin Roofing team quickly identified the source of water as faulty flashing and caulking around two furnace exhaust pipes.They performed repairs on a Saturday morning in a timely, courteous and professional manner.Would highly recommend Destin Roofing!!Service: Roof repair

Destin Roofing was Spot On! From the get go, on time and during the initial estimate every question I asked was met not with "Thats Extra" but "Thats Included" They got there at 830 am on Thursday worked till dark and back on Friday at 830 and gone at 1 PM leaving me a perfect new roof. Everything was done, all repairs made and my roof looks great. They kept everything clean around the house and picked up after themselves constantly. Destin Roofing was dependable and stood by their warranty after a complete tear-off of tile roofing and a subsequent leak occurred. They fixed the lead even though it was caused by another trade on the job site. Their technicians are top-notch professional and knowledgeable and extremely easy to work with. I recommend Destin to anyone wanting complicated and complete roofing repairs or replacement.

We had a small leak around our chimney before our new sunroom was installed in July 2016. The contractor was going to repair the leak prior to building the sunroom. This didn't happen. After many attempts from the contractor who built it to find and repair the leak, and from a different contractor they recommended, we still had the same leak. Gobs of sealant and poor concrete work was the result of a few thousand dollars we paid for the repair. Needless to say we still had the same leak. Finally in June 2017 we decided to call someone else. We contacted Destin Roofing. Torey stopped by and located what he thought was the problem. He provided a written estimate and a date he thought it could be done. The estimate was fair and the work was done on schedule. They found a little more wood rot than they expected and didn't charge any extra. They were very professional, courteous, and cleaned up after the job. I would highly recommend Torey, Iris, and the fine crew at Destin Roofing and will be using them again if ever needed.

Don't recommend.Did not stand behind their work. Charged me a bunch of money to fix my roof leak but they didn't really do anything. Just tighten some screws and put down a little compound was here maybe an hour not much more. Roof leaked the very next time it rained. I texted the tech. He said he'd make a new ticket and swing by next time he was in the area. After over two months they never came by. Rained again. Leaked again. Texted again. Guy didn't remember me. But did come back (which is why they're getting 2 instead of 1). He told me how they'd need to get a moisture meter and do a water test, etc and that he'd get back when they could schedule. He later texted and said that they weren't coming back. That my roof wasn't installed correctly. So, they took my money and fired us. Would live in a tent before I gave Destin any more money---Update: The response from the owner below came *after* they had already called me. The owner talked "at me" telling me that I should have never texted the tech directly (even though he gave me his number and asked me to do so) - that I ought to have called the office. They then told me how they brought the tech in, who has been with the company for 30 years, and scolded him for making commitments to the customer and then telling me what both of us ought to have done, etc. They were not concerned with my poor experience. They were only concerned that I had given them a poor review. **They then offered to refund my money but only if I deleted this review** I told them that I'd be happy to update my review if they came out and did the work that the tech had committed to. They declined.So, I've taken a star away from these guys. I love that they are looking at these reviews and want to have a positive impression in the community. However, I believe it is unethical to ask a customer to take down a less than stellar review for a price. Perhaps there are other bad reviews out there that were removed and perhaps some of these 5 stars are not all genuine.Service: Roof repair

I am in the real estate business. I have a continual need for roof repair for closings. I have called over a dozen roofers in then pass and zero showed. I was at wits end when on anther listing I needed a roof repair. The buyer agent said "no problem call Destin Roofing". They call and showed up on time. Gave reasonable estimate with a reasonable time frame. I told the estimator my issue about getting estimates. They took my list. And everyone I got a estimate. No fallow up just done. I have sent three more of my customers to them. They to have had the same experience. They were not over charged and did not get estimates for things did not need to be done. I feel a gratitude for the professionalism. I was looking their info up to send to yet another client who need roof work. And saw they had zero reviews. It was a shame.

Let me start off by saying I contacted several roofing contractors in the Destin Fort Walton Beach area Destin Roofing was the only one that contacted me to give me a bid on the project they were very professional sent somebody over the same day that I messaged them about doing the work and answered all my emails and questions very quickly would highly recommend them to anybody that needs Roofing work done in our area
