From start to finish, Atlantic roofing did a superior job on our 20-year-old (and leaky) roof. Their total cost was very reasonable. They communicated smoothly with our solar panel company which had to remove and replace our panels. The roofing crew was thorough, professional, and very friendly. On the second day they worked long after dark due to a predicted thunderstorm later that night. A light rain did fall, so we were happy that the roof was fully covered. They cleaned up thoroughly at the end. We are very pleased with our new roof and would definitely recommend Atlantic Roofing to anyone.

I didn’t hire them to get work done, but my neighbors did - I’m not on speaking terms with my neighbor, so I received no warning that the roofing company was showing up until I hear them outside my house scraping stuff off my neighbors roof (we’re in connected townhomes) into a trailer next to my car at 7 am. I was not warned to move my car which is getting hit by debris from the neighboring building, however I moved it on my own. Hours later I was asked to move my other car, (which was actually my neighbors). The workers were totally capable of warning me before they started, they just chose not to, which should have already been a red flag. They also used my outside water hose (which I blocked off) instead of my neighbors, which is literally closer to them and with easier access, then removed my nozzle AND left it on overnight. Not even sure why they needed my hose if your replacing my neighbors roof??? Various trash was left both outside my front and backyard, the job lasting two days and was only cleaned after the last day. However, they only cleaned my neighbor side, not my side, so now I have a flat tire from nails left in my driveway alongside the various wrappers to all the supplies they used. They also moved my garbage can, which was nowhere NEAR where they were working, and never moved it back, so it’s not like they were at a loss as to how to clean. Seems like they only take care of those who hired them, if you see this company working on your neighbors, be aware!EDIT: They responded to my review, but won’t respond to any of my voicemails regarding payment for the tire replacement that was both promised by HR and the owner - after I was asked several times to actually deleted this review! So obviously they’re not doing anything to actually solve the problem. My house has cameras, and you can see they only knocked on my door once the night prior at 9PM. No note was left and multiple visits were in fact not made. On top of that, no, the hose is not in the middle. It’s on the left and you have to leave the property you were assigned to, to even be able to reach my water access. And if job sites were cleaned everyday, then how does the last two photos even exist then? Should we also bring up how you even agreed to come back to clean, but didn’t fully get everything AGAIN? I can’t tell what’s more of a joke, the quality of your work or a lack of professionalism.

$18,000 new metal roof installed by Atlantic. Problems with mice and bugs in the winters afterwards. Went up into attic and saw daylight! It became obvious that ridge vent material that allows ventilation but prevents rodents and bugs from getting into the attic was missing. Their crew had run out of material 1/2 way through and just screwed down the rest of the ridge cap with no barrier. After multiple calls and weeks going by they finally sent out a crew out. Fast forward this winter and still problems in the attic. Inspected their repair more carefully and found that, not only did they use material that doesn't allow venting, but they also left out a portion over the garage that they thought we'd never see. We love supporting local businesses but can you imagine nearly 20 thousand for a new roof and their crew was too lazy or dishonest to go buy a $25 roll????? But even worse can you imagine they had a second chance to make it right and failed again??? Neither can we.

Unfortunately I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone. 1 year ago I had them reseal my porch roof that was leaking for $1600. They guaranteed that the roof seal would last many years and it was high quality sealer. It started leaking a few months ago (less than one year after the job) and I called them to check it out. They said it was because leaves had gathered on the roof and that broke the seal. It would be $900 to fix it. They never mentioned anything about needing to clear leaves off the roof with the initial job. I admit I don't know how to maintain a roof, but I did not feel taken care of when dealing with Atlantic in this interaction. They made me feel like a burden and a nuisance, not a valued customer. They even had the gall to offer me a "roof cleaning service" for $250/month where they would stop by and take a leaf blower to my roof to maintain it. What an insult! They're only trying to extract as much money as they can from me, and not take care of me as a customer.My recommendation to Atlantic would be to tell me that I need to maintain the roof when you first reseal it! Don't wait for the new roof to be ruined by 6 months worth of leaves and then try to charge me another $900 to fix it. Absolutely insulted. I'll be looking elsewhere for Roofing work. Lesson learned about the leaves though, I'll be doing a better job of maintaining my roof going forward.

* Quick. 1350ft2 house's roof entirely replaced in 1.5 days* Thorough. Front driveway left in better condition than they found it* Great customer service - had power go out in a couple of rooms during install. Talked to Dwight, he had an electrician Gage come out, problem fixed in less than 90 minutes. Appeared to be a couple of old blown arc breakers (apparently notorious for breaking). Both men were very knowledgeable and just went straight to diagnostics and fixing. Pretty sure Dwight owned the business too. I have a lot of respect for that work ethic.Couldn't tell you about their pricing, but knowing my landlord, it's probably *very* competitive lol...Only downside is my blue recycling bin seems to have gone missing. But those are free from the city, so, whatever. Maybe they recycled it.Also roof looks great. I'll change the review if it leaks, but I took a few peeks at the work during install and it looked very thorough, didn't see any shortcuts, etc - doubt it'll be anything but good.Thanks a lot guys!

Very disappointing. Found out over a year after having a metal roof installed that it wasn’t done correctly. We asked them to fix it, and thought they did, only to find out later that it was still not done right. Not sure if it is lack of crew oversight, lack of crew experience, or what, but I definitely cannot recommend them after this.

There was a surprise rain after the roof was installed, before the adhesive on some vents were dry. Shane came right back and repaired the drips. I'm an out of state real estate investor, and not being present at rehab has its challenges. Not only it takes time to find professionals, but I have to hire an inspector to check on every step of their work and report back to me...Atlantic Roofing was a totally different story! GREAT TEAM!Professional, reliable, quick, honest, and very responsible.Big plus: unlike many roofing companies, this guys do everything, including fascias, gutters, what not. No need to hire a second team or a handyman for those.Adequate estimate (also a big plus!). They started and finished on time. Every other day I was receiving reports with tens of photos. The change of order was done quickly, and also with tens of photos to show the need of it. Every day the premises were cleaned, I had no complaints from the City or the neighbors. And they sent me the second invoice only after inspection was done, together with COC and Warranty. An 80 foot tree fell on my roof causing holes in my roof with water leakage inside my house ! My insurance covered repairs, removal of the roof's 2 layers of shingles and reroofing of my entire home. Restoration Specialists recommended Atlantic Roofing who then, at my request, gave me lists of homes they had recently reroofed. This was very helpful to me in selecting the shingle color I wanted for my home! Atlantic's roofing crew was wonderful and my new roof is beautiful! At first Atlantic Roofing was very quick to help me. They provided me with pictures of the roof problem. I requested pictures of the repairs so that I would have pre- and post-repair pictures. I paid a month ago, have requested from Atlantic Roofing (multiple times by telephone, and e-mail) the post repair pictures, but have not received them yet. Where to begin... what started out as a pleasant experience has quickly turned into one of the biggest headaches I have ever experienced. Ed was the one who came out to do the quote. He was very nice and the quote was lower than any other company. Because of probate, production was put off for about a year. They were very understanding and offered to tarp my roof because we already had one bad spot in it. With an approaching tropical storm I decided to call Ed and take him up on the tarp offer. He said it would still be a week or so before they could start putting the new roof off. He said he would notify his production crew to send someone out to tarp it right away. So I was quite surprised when out of the blue two men show up at my door to start working on the roof. I was slightly irritated that no one called ahead, but decided to let it go. I was just thankful to finally get a new roof. Instantly there were issues. The two men that were here did not understand or speak much English. Communication was frustrating to say the least. They told me that no plywood was needed. I informed them that Ed said at least 2 to 3 spots needed to be replaced. Then they asked me to show them where to put it. That's not my job. As installers, they should know how to tell which parts are spongy and need to be replaced. I called Ed because at this point I had no confidence whatsoever in the men that were here. Ed said he would send two new men out. I never asked him to he just said he was going too. The same two men show back up at my house with plywood. I called Ed back and he said they were capable of installing it and that Shane (the owner) told them what to do. Really? So a man, who at this moment has never laid eyes on my home, told them what to do over the phone. At this point I had enough and could not handle the madness of another conversation with Ed. I passed the baton onto my husband. Now he is on the phone with Ed who is telling him that the men would not get on the roof to change out plywood until the carpenter arrived. Guess what happened?! They were on the roof ripping out plywood just a few minutes after I got off the phone with my husband. By the time the carpenter showed up the two guys were halfway done. Because of approaching rain they were unable to finish. That night was when the horror started. I noticed my bathroom ceiling was leaking. Then my living room started leaking in multiple spots. They did not do a good job protecting my roof from the elements. I was livid and called Shane the next morning. He was very apologetic and offered to come out to ease my mind and assess the damage. He took ownership of the damage and offered to have a painter come out and cover the stains. Not remove and replace my now damaged ceiling.. just paint it. He was confident there was no serious damage. I was floored by his response. I'm not asking for a free roof. I'm not asking for him to completely remodel the interior of my home. I simply wanted the inside of my home to look the way it was before his crew ruined it with their negligence. Call me high maintenance, but painting it, to me, is like putting on a band-aid. I also found trash around my property after the roof was completed. They boast on their website about job cleanliness. The building official signed off on the job on June 30th. I waited to write a review til now because I wanted to see if they would reimburse us for the cost of the repairs. Unfortunately, this evening, my bathroom ceiling is once again leaking.*Update: You have time to respond to my review but yet I still have not heard from you. It's 12pm 7/12/17 and more rain is expected**Update 9/19/2017: Once again my bathroom ceiling is leaking. This is the third leak in 4 months. I told Shane that the previous repairs looked unprofessional (I had an inspector come out to view them moments after Shane's repair guy left). Shane said they were done correctly. I have not heard from Shane yet, but I just called this afternoon when I noticed a water stain.

This company replaced our roof in 2019 after Hurricane Michael. The contractor that did the work did not explain anything that was being done, did not give us accurate estimates of how long things were going to take, and did not make a single call in our direction. All calls for information were instigated by me. Three years later my roof was leaking, we called the company to fix the roof that was still well within the warranty time from September to January I called once a week for an update and with each call I was told that I would be called back, I never was. We were finally given the number of a man who was working for the contractor who had done the initial installment and was supposed to be doing the repairs. By this time the first contractor changed his number and we were no longer able to contact him and he was not contacting us. The new man responded to us promptly and within two days had found the material that was needed; the same material that the original contractor said was "discontinued and hard to find". The repair after that was quick but we still had to pay $700, even though it was still under warranty, and neither the previous contractor or the company ever followed up. They caused a PUBLIC SAFETY HAZARD INVOLVING CARBON MONOXIDE.Atlantic was contracted through our association at Summit House Condominiums to work on the roof of our building. During the work, Atlantic damaged our AC unit and disconnected the gas hot water heater vent that vents poisonous carbon monoxide gas to the outside. Shane, the owner, told me at 11:14 AM that the AC was being worked on that no more entries to the unit would be necessary and that the repair would be 4 hours or longer and that he would notify me once they were done. He didn’t reach out to me again that day so we thought it was working as he led me to believe it would be. Over 10 hours later, at 9:25 PM, we learn from our tenants (just arriving home from work) that the AC was still not working. Shane didn’t contact us to inform us that the AC wasn’t working. I felt compelled to pay for my tenant to stay in a hotel since the condo was too hot and uncomfortable for them to get good rest. Since Bosshardt (association manager) contracted Atlantic to do work, we feel as though one or both of them are responsible for refunding the 2 nights our tenants had to stay in a hotel. I have texted Shane several times to address it and he has yet to respond. He also didn’t respond to me about the carbon monoxide issue which is of the utmost importance. Our tenants were living in a unit for four months before we realized it was an issue. This is dangerous and potentially deadly. We were disappointed to say the least that he didn’t care to respond to us in reference to the vent. The association manager has informed me that, even though they contracted Atlantic, it is my responsibility to do the work to get a refund from Atlantic. Atlantic has yet to respond to my messages. Attached are pictures of the two vents Atlantic left disconnected. The gray one is the carbon monoxide vent. Notice the roof debris on the hot water heater they didn’t clean either.

From the first phone call to Lindsay in the office, to Chris Palmer bringing by the last of the paperwork, we have been so very impressed with Atlantic Roofing. Chris was always on time and extremely informative. Really the photos only tell part of the story. First off it took a month to get these people to start the work. Then, the wrong size parts were ordered...then the correct size wrong color. The person delivering the items drove over my drain field (Atlantic Roofing better hope there is no damage). I've emailed and called the main office to try and reach the "estimator", which is much harder than one would think. The lack of communication from the employees and the company is absurd. The guy that came to do the work installed brown shingles on the roof, and then when I bring it to his attention he said, "I thought it looked funny." If something doesn't look right, why install it? Common sense would tell you to question the color of your materials compared to the color on the roof. I am still waiting for a few items that were on the statement of work to actually be done, as well as the correct color shingles to be installed. The guy doing the work had no idea what was on the statement of work. So, not only does this company not communicate with its customers, it doesn't even communicate with the laborers. Unfortunately I live in an area where choices are limited and I had to choose this place. I am regretting my decision.

We are very pleased with our new roof! The crew was able to complete our roof in one day and cleaned up afterwards very well. There was a slight delay in getting started as they had to wait for the shingles to arrive but with availability issues that wasn’t really surprising. I would not let this company touch my house. I have a metal roof that they installed that is still under warranty. It took two months and a lot of headache to get them to come look at the roof the first time. They temporarily patched the roof and was supposed to come back and make a permanent repair. 6 months had gone by and I can’t get the owner or no one else to even return my call. I had a local roofing contractor come by and inspect the roof and he said the whole roof was a mess. The leaking roof has caused damage to the inside of the house. First off they are inexpensive compared to all the quotes I received. Second they don’t make you get more than you need. I wanted an overlay and that is what I got many other companies wanted to remove the old roof even though it’s not required. Quality and craftsmanship were exceptional. Once the permit was obtained they knocked out the roof in no time. They only replaced bad plywood when required and did not try to find more wrong than there was. The cleanup was done expertly and promptly. Lastly the guarantee on materials and workmanship were exceptional. I only have good to say about this honest company and highly recommend them to everyone.
