I had such a great experience with this company! They did impact windows and doors and i can say it changed my life! I feel safer in my home, the windows are tinted so the house is less hot and visually I have the nicest windows and doors in my neighborhood! I am terribly upset and I hope that what I have written will help prevent others from being in a similar situation. My parents, who are 76 and 70 years old, wanted to replace the windows and front door with hurricane-proof ones, so they contracted with a company called USA HOME IMPROVEMENT. The company undertook the entire process for $18,000. The salesman Francisco also promised the stars from the sky and convinced my parents to buy a $3,360 hurricane-proof front door, my parents, who are not experts at all, believed everything. After 6 months, the ordered windows and the front door arrived. My parents paid everything in advance in cash....the workers and contractors came. I have only seen the end result. They broke a tile at the front door, a marble ledge and so on….The $3,360 hurricane-proof, impact entrance door is a cheap door with a maximum value of $500, of poor quality and without any protection, The door, which in principle closes airtight at several points, has such a gap between the door frame and the door that a person's finger can fit through, it is simple ridiculous and unacceptable! The latches on the door, which in principle have an entrance and security function, can be easily accessed and tightened from the outside, the so called “impact” glass does not protect against the impact of debris carried by extreme weather and high-speed wind, nor from possible burglary, as the glass cracked on its own the day after installation. We complained to the company, who said that this is a very good quality door that meets all requirements and that it is completely normal that it does not close tightly and that the latches are also accessible from the outside……..it is also normal that the glass cracks, “every glass can crack” but “don't worry”, because the glass will be replaced…….it happened more than two weeks ago, nothing has happened since then…………I told them that we don’t want this door, but they are not willing to admit the mistakes. Anyone who knows should avoid this fraudulent company from afar, who harm elderly people and sell cheap, low-quality products for expensive money! Thank you very much USA HOME IMPROVEMENT!!!!!

Edit:My Door has finally been fixed, Louis my Rep was very professional with making sure I understood that the doors manufacture was the reason for the delay and why my issues had not been fixed in a timely manner, I was also reminded that my door has a 10-year warranty to cover fixes like this if they happen again in the future. Although it took a long time, and the door was expensive I have to say that they were determine to make sure I understood that they were here to help me with my issues and it was the door manufactures fault why I was missing parts for initial install and why I was having issues with my door so early in it's life cycle. I wonder how this will bode in the long-term, but Live and Learn.That being said I still believe a more communication between me and the customer rep team would of settle most of my worries, especially when weeks turned into months, etc.Original:Stay* clear from this company. I ordered a door from them*, they charged me way overpriced but whatever thought quality would be better than others, turns out no, my door which cost nearly $10,000 is already falling apart. I’ve called them over 5 times with issue concern this door and it seems like after the point of sale they do not care. I’ve been patient it’s been 3 months since getting the door installed and they just do not care about their customers. I wish I didn’t have to write this review, but I cannot take this abuse anymore. Following up with a second review about my experience with this company.We had impact windows installed in May 2022. It took over a year of chasing them via phone and email to get the permit for the work closed out. Many unanswered emails and calls. In fact, the only way that we actually got someone to call us back was after I left the initial review on Google. It seems they care deeply about public perception but not actually serving their customers.Someone from management called me immediately after I left the review. He apologized and offered a $500 refund to us which was appreciated but now that I’m back to chasing them again for a response, I’m more upset about the lost time and being ignored than any amount of money could fix.Now it’s almost May 2024 at the time of this review. I am back to not receiving any emails or phone calls back about how we can start payment for the work that was done. It’s now been two years since our project has been done and I have no idea how to make payments and the company is ghosting us.We also contacted Ygrene about this, as the work was done through Ygrene’s program.

USA home improvement installed our impact windows over a year ago. One of the reasons we chose them was the in house team for repairs, tweaks or maintenance.Louis manages this division is professional, timely and always sends competent , timely professionals to do what is needed. I want to thank Eddie and his partner for their excellent service they provided on Monday and even going above and beyond and repairing an impact side door that had been installed by the previous owner and not by USAHI home improvements.

USAHI exceeded my expectations: Eddie the Salesperson showed up on time, and presented a detailed, professional proposal. Honestly the company need to improve some of the sub contracto they are using to to the jobs. Lat of slack installations I had to be in top of all myself in order to get the job finished right. The staff is very pleasant and try to do the best to resolve the issue. Thank you Rey for finished last step on my from door today 🙏 finally got done totally.

I had USAHI install my hurricane windows and slider. I had some issues with them, but just today, Louis took care of everything that I had issues with. He was very nice, and helpful, and I appreciate him making things right, because I wasn't expecting that.The handle fell off my new door (sigh). But they sent someone out to replace it today (at no cost, since it's still under warranty). Rey (or Ray?) Is who they sent out, and he was great. Installers were not the neatest folks. Trying to get anyone on the phone is a challenge. They demand final payment before they finish the job. Inspection did pass and that pretty much indicates they are acceptable.
