First, let me state that the quality of the roof they installed appears to be excellent. The problems I have with Top Seal are the lack of professionalism and poor communication. My roof project began on 4/24/20. At the time, I clearly explained to Ron that obtaining a new wind mitigation certificate (to lower my homeowners insurance) was an extremely important aspect of the project.I was initially told the project would take about 2-3 weeks to complete; however, due to rainy days, we got off to a slow start. I expected that I would get a text or call when a crew was coming out to work, but that rarely happened. In almost all cases, people just showed up and then disappeared.The crew were careless about how they treated my property, trampling my landscaping and failing to properly clean up after demo (causing a roofing nail to find its way into my car tire). My master bedroom has an exposed beam ceiling, and on the day they removed it, I got no warning. The roof was removed, opening my bedroom to the elements and scattering dirt and debris all over the room. On another day, one of the workers broke a spindle off my bronze iron fencing and attempted to reattach it with white caulking. No, I'm not kidding. The gutters were attached without the use of a level and had to be removed and reattached. The gutter spouts were mismatched and had to be corrected. And the underside of my carport roof was left unfinished, again causing a call-back to correct. Ron did his best to address all of the issues and ended up knocking some money off the price as compensation, which was fair. After all the mishaps, my roof was finally finished on July 8.Now here I am on Dec. 28, still without everything I need to get an insurance discount for the new roof. Ron did provide a wind mitigation certificate, which was not properly completed and had to be corrected twice. The insurance company also requires photos, which I have asked Ron to provide on at least 5 separate occasions. It's about a 50/50 chance that any given text to him will get a response, and the last two are unanswered.Based on other reviews, it seems Ron's brother Carlos helps him with the company, so I am hoping this review prompts a call and resolution of the photo issue. Ron is a nice man, but has really poor follow-up.Service: Roof installation

I must confessed I'm always skeptical when it comes to booking estimates or hiring a firm to perform repairs on my properties. Unfortunately in South Florida some contractors play the role of sharks very well and deliver poor results/repairs. When I stumbled upon TOP SEAL all my concerns and objections were met with excellent customer service, performance, repairs, and an AMAZING WARRANTY COVERANGE!(applied it once, and their word was honored).Carlos and his brother, and staff will make you feel like family. I've had the pleasure to work with them on two different occasions with two different complex roof leaks and the results were on point. Reasonable prices, very punctual, always answers the phone, and the warranty really backs their work.Please give them a try you wont be disappointed and your money will be well invested!!!

After the 2017 hurricane season here in Florida 90% of the community I live in had to get their roof re-done. A lot of my neighbors got their roof re-done by Top Seal and I was so impressed with their work that I decided to give them a call. I am so glad I did because they did an amazing job! My roof looks GREAT!! The office staff and roofers were very friendly and professional. They answered all my questions and concerns. 100% recommend!

I have only good things to say about this company and the people that operate it. They are professional across the boardTHE PEOPLE, THE OWNERS, THE STAFF THE CREWMy roof was replaced in 2017 after hurricane Irma and I am to this date very pleased with the results and the overall experience.They were extremely organized, timely and very communicative. The quality of the products and the craftsmanship are unsurpassed!The project went smoothly and when they were done they cleaned up everything and everywhere at my property! They even power washed the house and the driveway!!Talk about taking pride on what they do and their level of commitment and care!This year again, 2019 Top Seal Services has demonstrated the kind of company they are, which is why I am sharing my experience:3 days ago – they went above and beyond the call of duty for us when I called them out to take a look at my roof after we had really bad weather and debris damaged a section of it (something hit my roof and make a hole on the side – aka a bullet, branch, etc – we’re not sure)Not only did they come out the very next day and inspect it but they went ahead and repaired my roof as a courtesy to us and at NO CHARGE!!!Even though this was NOT their fault – It had nothing to do with them – but rather with environmental factors – but they were kind and generous enough to take care of this for us and relieve us of the worry!!!Where do you nowadays find a company that values reputation over anything else!!! It is almost unheard of! A gem.A true American Values based company with a soul that upholds to the highest standards.I hope this helps others consider this company for their next projects, whether big or small – If you are looking for quality, professionalism and long term value; Hands down this one is the best!!!!

I've now done three roofs with Ron and Carlos. This company has been the best roofing company I've ever worked with. Even when issues crop up 3, 4 and 5 years after the job has been done (not related to their work, flat roofs in Florida are notorious for issues) they've come back and taken care of the problem. Professional, reliable, and everyone in the office and on the job site are super helpful. I was so grateful to find they were working in the Orlando area as I needed work on a building in Vero Beach. Work that 3 other roofing companies could not get right. Top Seal got 'er done!Call Ron and Carlos first and you won't have to go through the headaches you will with another roofer.

We had a roof done by Top Seal three years ago, it appears to be a very well done job and all was good until we discovered a leak near the chimney. I got a hold of Ron and he came out quickly, assess the situation and sent a guy within a couple days to do a repair. The repair consisted of siliconeing around some flashing which did not resolve the problem. I contacted Ron again and he said he would be out on a specific day. No one showed up, no phone call, no response to voicemails or text, nothing. We will be hiring another company to do the repairs that Top Seal should’ve done. Personally, I like Ron he’s a nice guy, professionally, with the lack of response I’m not sure this is a company you should put on your shortlist.Update.....Since writing my initial review, I got a call from Carlos, who is Ron the owners brother. He stated he is the guy that handles repairs. He apologized for the lack of response and told me he would be out to assess and correct the problem. He sent out a guy who took up the tiles around the chimney and determined there was some water infiltration. He applied electrostatic mastic around and up the chimney. This resolved the problem with the leak. After allowing the mastic to dry for a couple days he had his guys return and replace the tiles. I am now satisfied with the repair and ultimately the service I received from Carlos.

As a homeowner, I’m sure you’d agree that having a leak in the house due to poor roofing is on the list of ‘oh no, not that’ things you never want to experience. Luckily, Top Seal diminished all stress levels to a comfortable zero. They arrived and repaired my roof so quickly I was quite frankly aghast. If I could give them 10 stars, I would!

My experience with this roofing company has been horrendous. I contracted them a year ago for a new roof. One advised that the roof was completed and passed inspection, they requested my final payment which I made. A year later, i get a letter from the city of Miami advising me that the roof had never passed inspection and that I was to pay a 10k dollar fee if it was not fixed.I have contacted the roofer on several occasions trying to resolve the issue with no hope. Progress has been slow after several phone calls and e-mails. At this point, nothing has been fully completed, still waiting for a final inspection and the Ronald Medina (owner of the company) does not return phone calls or e-mails.If you need to get your roof fixed, save yourself a nightmare. DO NOT CONTRACT WITH THESE GUYS.
