We had to get a new roof and South Edge made the process so easy! We were able to use online selections or see the products in person. The communications kept us in the know of where we were in the schedule and process. The installation was phenomenal! The work crew was here early and worked nonstop to complete our reroof in just one day. The care and thoroughness on the cleanup truly set them apart! Excellent customer service, amazing work ethic and timely follow up is why I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend South Edge to anyone.

South edge roofing & construction goes above & beyond! Best value & roofer in Northeast Florida!We did a ton of research on roofers, got several estimates, and by FAR, Southedge is the BEST! We highly recommend them; so look no further for any of your roofing needs! They were also a referral from a friend (and realator), so they come highly recommended by many.We had our entire roof replaced by Southedge, along with damaged wood replaced. They also sealed a plastic roofing cover over a walkway that was leaking. They also helped get a dip in our carport roof fixed. They are highly competent.Cost was about average to other estimates, but their quality & professionalism was superior! Best value by far!The entire process was seamless. They walked us through every little detail so that we understood exactly how everything was going to go. They stuck to the plan, got us in quickly (as we had leaks), and did an incredible job.The roof is solid and looks great! We had several neighbors ask us who did the job because it looks so good. It’s been months since the work was complete, and many storms later, and ZERO issues.Their crew was courteous, cleaned up everything, and were very professional (we wish every contractor was like them!).There was one night where they ran into some extra work, and knocked on the door to ask if it was OK to be after 6 PM. It was so courteous! I mean no one does that anymore!?!?Hands down the best roofer in northeast FL! Go with them, you will be happy you did!

South Edge Roofing and Construction recently did a roof replacement on my son's home in Neptune Beach. From the start Chris Carvajal was prompt in doing what he said they would do and thorough at keeping us informed every step of the process. His staff was equally responsive and respectful. Everything was fully documented, including pictures, and communicated with many emails, texts and phone calls. You would think getting a new roof would be a difficult process, but with South Edge the experience was a very easy experience. They replaced my roof, added some features that helped redirect rain water and fixed drywall inside my house. Will be looking for them to do more work in the future. 10/10

Couldn't be happier with the process of having a roof installed. Sean took care of all the whole thing, all we had to do was tell them a shingle color.Roof was torn off and installed in a day and it looks great! We've had a handful of heavy storms and no issues. It was time for a new roof for our large mix use building in the historic area of Saint Augustine. We knew it would be a daunting task to balance the parking needs of the commercial units, the need for residential tenants to have peace and quiet, and the necessity of replacing a very old roof. Chris from South Edge Construction did a great job with that balance, as well as communicating with us - owners in a different time zone.Chris walked me through the quote, handled the city permits, and coordinated with the management company to notify the tenants. The job came in on time, thanks to good weather, and within the scope of the quote. The only issue we encountered was the need to replace all the skylights, which based on their age, was a smart thing to do while this job was going on. Chris handled it and took care of everything. I highly recommend them for roofing and plan to have them bid on other projects we have in the future.Services: Roof repair, Skylight installation

South Edge did a phenomenal roof repair for us. Several years after a new roof install (by another company), we discovered there were a few rows of shingles that had not been nailed down. It literally took strong winds from a near miss by Idalia for the shingles to shift and a worrisome leak to pop up. Once my own handyman diagnosed the problem, South Edge was able to come by and put a rush on the repair job before several rainy days were upon us. In short: Great job. Very professional. Our Project Manager, Donna Bartell was with us every step of the way over the long 3+ year insurance claims settlement process helping us keep a positive outlook and making sure we were updated from start to finish on everything. It goes to show that most of these reviews are fake. It has been my experience with South Edge that they only deserve one star. I only give them that because they did do good job in informing me of the process initially, but after paying half of the invoice, I received no communications. I had to keep calling to find out when the work was to commence. When a worker finally showed, he acted as if he didn't want to be briefed on what my issue was and wound up partially doing the job that eventually ruined my living room. I've called the company and the worker constantly for a month with promises to come back and complete the job with no response. And they have been paid in full. I do not recommend this company

South Edge Roofing $ Cons Co had our backs. In a crunch buying a house with hurricane roof damage, insurance companies won't insure house with damaged roof in general. Found a company that would help if we could find a roofer willing to quickly put up a roof without being locked down to an absolute install date and be able to be flexible in scheduling and getting job done at our house closing. This roofing company had our backs and we were able to move forward. Unfortunately for us, issues were found during home inspection that the owner did not want to address. Also owner was not forthcoming in not disclosing he already put a roof claim in and was even given a check to cover repairs. The house contract was voided and we didn't get the house. But knowing South Edge Roofing was going to work with a difficult scheduling made us feel good. We WILL be coming to them in the future.

Loving far away from your properties is never easy, especially when you need work done. We need a full roof tear down and install as well as replacement of any wood that was needed. Chris and his team took the pain away from this entire process and helped guide me from beginning to end and answer every question along the way. We had a palm tree fall on our roof during a bad storm on the night Feb 6-7. There was substantial damage.I contacted South Edge Construction, along with two other highly rated roofing contractors on the morning of Feb 7th. Chris, the owner of South Edge Construction, literally responded within minutes of my phone call. He came to our home, gave me an estimate, and promised to have a crew on-site first thing the next morning.True to his word, his crew was at our home early the next morning. Their work was excellent, and within two hours of their arrival, our roof had been restored to its original condition - it was impossible to tell that anything had ever happened. We have had several rainstorms since that day, and no issues with leaks whatsoever.Quick response, excellent quality of work, very reasonable rates, everything about our experience with South Edge Construction was first-rate. Next week, we are getting an estimate from them for further work on our home. I would not hesitate to hire them again. Highly recommended.

Nice guys very hard workers who did a beautiful job on my roof replacement. They also upgraded the.roof vents to ridge vents which should keep the attic cooler. Update- Once work is thought to be completed, they will ignore any issues you have after although they say the work is warrantied. Multi months trying to get dryer vent properly reinstalled and a dryer that blew 2 control panels replaced have gone to death ears. Next steps going to lawyer to handle. BEWAREPre work with Donna went excellent in negotiations with ins company. Once work started, team did excellent job with the roofing and keeping the property clear of debris.
