Oak crest had a good strategy when it came to replacing my roof. The roof was replaced and I developed a leak and a warranty claim began. After 12 visits the leak has been stopped, but not from quality work. The contractors hired just used sealants and my nice roof and flashing look like it was a home job. Now my HOA is mad it looks like trash and it's impossible to get someone on the phone to get things taken care of. My advice to you is find a better company. Very dissapointing. I'm still waiting for them to finish the job today and it's been a year of back and forth repairs attempts. I have a hole in my garage ceiling and spray paint on my house.

Oak Crest made what could have been a very stressful experience absolutely seamless. Putting on a new roof is no small expense and I feel Oak Crest provided an exceptional return on my investment. Oak crest replaced my roof last year after hail damage five months prior. The work was done in just over a day! The PM for the job was great until suddenly I was told he should not contact me in anyway, not sure about that but moved forward and looks great! They contracted out the movement of my solar panels so I didnt have to stress over any of it which was perfect with me! Noticed a missing piece months later and its a struggle to get anyone to return my call or get the updated wind mitigation/four points that I was also told I would receive. Seems like once they get the insurance money, they no longer care2023- update: I still haven’t received the new wind mitigation and four point inspection that the PM promised me. We had the roof done in 2018 and it took 7 months to get them to finish. They tried charging the insurance company 50% more than the original quote and I was stuck in the middle answering angry questions from the adjuster that saw the size of the roof go way up and they were charging for things they did not do.They put on half the roof, took off the roof and it rained heavily. We got water damage in nearly every room. They paid a discount person to paint and that person got paint on furniture, fans, lights, belongings, etc... They left two large holes in the flashing and we got mice in the attic. They broke house reels, knocked off rain sensors, damaged the gutters walk through carelessness. The put equipment on our 2 weeks old lawn without any protection and it killed a large portion of it.We were told over and over they would make things right only for them to ghost us. "We will fix that next week" only for them to no show. They promise a lot in person and then skink away hoping to never hear from you again. The only reason I got the situation resolved was they wanted to be paid.We got a leak in 2020 and called probably a dozen times and no response. We have had two leaks on this new roof and the last contractor who did the repairs said this was one of the worse jobs he has seen in his time roofing. They were great before you sign, after good luck...

It was a true blessing to work with Shawn Shelton. From the roof crew, the delivery of the shingles and dumpster, all the way to the removal of debris, we were smiling. The insurance claim was filed quickly, permits applied for and inspections done timely. Shawn consistently kept us apprised of all status updates and was open and honest about the few missing items; that he was able to quickly reorder and personally delivered to ensure no delays in completion of the reroof and skylight replacement. The roof crew worked fast both days, were professional, courteous and along with Shawn did their best to leave minimal nails and trash in our yard. We HIGHLY recommend Shawn and Oak Crest to anyone. Jordan Geis was my outside sales rep and he did an awesome job answering all my questions with his expertise in my roofing project. we were able to have a new roof put on my home through my insurance company. the awesome thing about what Jordan was able to help me do is the fact that my insurance company was not willing to do the roof after Jasper Roofing was involved. Once Jordan and Oak Crest Roofing took over he was able to defend our side of the roofing issue with technical answers, show why it was the insurance company's responsibility, and when he was done got me a new roof through my insurance company!! Our family is so thankful for his assistance in getting us a new roof. Then after the job was completed he followed up to ensure that everything was okay including clean up nails Etc. You definitely will not be disappointed in the professionalism and ability for Jordan to get the job done

Update: After my initial review and several phone calls came to the attention of the management at Oak Crest roofing, they did work with me to achieve resolution of my issues as they could best possibly do so. My punch list items that were not addressed by the initial project manager were addressed by another project manager very quickly and with excellent communication. Further communications I had with the branch level manager assured me that they (Oak Crest) strive to deliver a high quality customer service as a whole acknowledged their failure to do so in my situation up to that point in time. As someone who has worked in both customer service and project management fields, they got the guy who was a little bit pickier about the customer service aspect than normal. But at the end of the day, they did their level best to make things right, and as such I am acknowledging that effort by updating my review of the company to reflect the company as a whole rather than the performance of one particular individual.Initial Review: Nothing but problems. Useless project manager. Took weeks to get contract signed. No communication to let me know work was starting. I discovered it in the morning when the crew showed up and blocked my driveway. Then they proceeded to start installing the wrong shingles. Thankfully I caught it before they got too far along. Reported multiple workmanship issues to the project manager after the job was done. After 4 months only one of those items has been rectified. I've tried multiple times to contact project manager by phone and text with no response. Not going to out the project manager in this forum out of respect for privacy.Service: Roof installation

Regret the day I answered the door. John Warren missed our insurance inspection. Insurance company ended up canceling our policy. Lots of talk but nothing came of it. I'm sure it worked for some but how many of us fall through the cracks?Update.. 6/2019 In all fairness after my review posted management got in touch with me and made an attempt to rectify the issue. They offered me a discounted package to replace my roof. I did a better option and went that route, but I appreciate them trying.

Oak Crest redid my roof and I couldn't be more pleased. I worked with Brian Reid and he did a great job and handled everything on the insurance side. He went out of his way to make sure the job was done correctly and everything was cleaned up after. Would definitely recommend.

Jordan Geis did an amazing job getting my roof replaced. I've lived in FL all my life and this was the first time I ever had to make a major insurance claim and he was was nothing short of supremely helpful. He answered all of my questions with no hesitation and absolutely showed how much he knows about the industry as he prepared all documentation for my insurance company.His goal was to make this as easy and painless as possible and he absolutely succeeded in that goal. He also made sure that everything being done would be HOA complaint in my neighborhood to ensure I had no issues there. Parth, was patient and attentive to all questions. He was a true professional. After the project was completed, he returned to show us pictures of what the roof looks like and to make sure the cleanup was complete. Afterwards, the biggest cast came out to my residence and did a masterful job. Not only do they do with expected of them, they go beyond the scope of their job. Once the job was completed I was completely surprised with the entire project. They are truly a credit to their chosen profession. THANK YOU! By the way, my foot doesn't taste very good.
