Great experience from start to finish with KL Smith. From the time they showed up, roof was torn off and replaced in 8 hours and they took an hour lunch. Property was just as clean when they finished roof. If your roofing contractor ask for down payment or large payment before they will start FIND ANOTHER CONTRACTOR , KL Smith did not ask for any up front money. Also if other contractors are significantly cheaper that other estimates, question why are they cheaper.

I was in need of a roof. JR was awesome. He spoke with my insurance guys who were jerking me around and got everything straight. I am glad he came highly recommend, because I have had a fee roofs done and it was a nightmare where I was stepping on nails for weeks. His team was in and out in 2 days and it was spotless when they left. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone as he is trustworthy and honest and, they did a great job!!!

They did our windows in 2016 and I was looking up the company info in my records to refer a neighbor and figured it was a good time to leave a review. At the time they were very professional and by far the best price. We have since had all the rooms remodeled. There was no indication of water damage so in my eye that lends credit to the install. They are great windows at a great price and the install was great also! No complaint …. Alot of bang for the buck ( there estimate was better then any others)

Caleb and the team at K.L. Smith are consummate professionals. From beginning to end, we felt safe in their hands. This is a project we've only tackled once before in our lives and we felt we needed someone we could trust. I spent over a year checking references and looking at reviews in Lakeland. Time after time, when we asked someone for a referral, K. L. Smith was recommended.The job was done exactly on schedule and every single aspect of the work was carried out exactly as Caleb described it would be. The on-site foreman paid close attention to our project throughout the installation and even gave us his cell number in case we had a question or an issue.As to the installation crew ... I was a commercial property manager for many years and in all those years, I don't think I ever saw a crew of people more self-directed and professional than the K. L. Smith crew. I mentioned that to the foreman and he said many of them have been with the company for decades and most of them had been there for over 10 years. That tells you everything you need to know about how the crew is treated by management and that translates into the crew doing the best possible job they can. They clearly take pride in their work and they work together like a well oiled machine.At the end of the project they cleaned up our yard as if it was their own. Each and every person on our job site was as kind and pleasant as the sales and management staff. This says everything to me about a company. This sort of professional and personable attitude comes from the top down.Of course, the roof is perfect and beautiful. That goes without saying.In my opinion, K. L. Smith is the absolute best choice for a roofing company in Lakeland.

When they set the date to start the roof repair. I thought it would take a couple of days. They finished my roof within a day. They cleaned up the yard and drive way of all the supplies that was laying around. I really love my roof.

Amazing!! Caleb, Pedro, and office staff we’re like family. The whole process was easy from start to finish. We couldn’t have asked for anything better to be honest. My son (autistic) even loved the yard sign he got for his room, he was so concerned about it when it was removed, they brought it back for him. I can only start by saying that K.L Smith, did a wonderful, amazing job on our roof. We had to have the whole roof done and from beginning to end, Justin, our rep, communicated with us amazingly. This is my first time having a whole new roof on a recently purchased home and I was super happy that I chose K.L Smith. The work was done professionally, the staff worked diligently, they cleaned the area thoroughly and made sure that our lawn area wasn’t damaged. The roof looks amazing with the home, overall processes was a breeze! I will definitely use them again for other properties. Thank you for providing such great service in these difficult times! Our 20+ year old shingles held up well but they hid serious problems with the wood surface. KL Smith stripped away 3 felt layers that exposed wood damage for the first time.They repaired the extensive wood damage and installed a flat roof drainage solution over our pool porch that previous roofers could not resolve.We have gotten numerous compliments on our new roof from our neighbors and guests.With the roofing and extensive wood repair It was not cheap; but as Curtis Mathis would say, “it was Darn well worth it!”.Knowing our roof structure is now probably as strong as when it was built in the late 70’s gives me Great comfort and confidence facing the future storms of summer in our Florida Paradise.Jerry MortonSugartree - Lakeland, FL

K.L. Smith came out to my house for a roof assessment per my request. The roof is only about 6 years old but I had a bad leak in one area after some northern wind driven rain. They were professional and honest in telling me that the roof looked good but the leak was probably due to some of the windows needing extra sealant. They pointed out the areas for me and even patched a random nail that was through the shingles in the area and didn't charge me anything. I appreciate them being up front and honest in this transaction and not trying to tell me I need to redo a whole section of the roof. I'll definitely keep them in mind for any roofing work in the future.
