Musick Roofing is the Number One roofing company in Polk County! Starting with the initial contact for a quote to replace our aged roof, they were very responsive and provided a competitive proposal on the same day they assessed the roof. As we reviewed their proposal, they also responded on the same day to a request to provide shingle samples for us to evaluate color options. After our signing the agreement, they began work within 2-3 weeks while another reputable company who also quoted wanted to postpone installation into the autumn, 4 months away, because of the roof's large size and steepness. Musick's talented, hard-working team of installers worked full days in the heat of late July and early August to quickly remove the old roof and install a new one, and they did a quality job. Each day, their supervising manager would send a status summary with photographs and/or videos. While installing any roof is a messy affair, they cleaned up the property beautifully after they were done. Included in the proposal, Musick scheduled an independent wind mitigation inspection after the roof installation - this was efficiently performed with a report provided to us the same day. In summary, the roof on our two-story house was a challenge – it is over 9,000 sf in surface area with the maximum steepness for residential roofs – but Musick excelled at replacing it. Everyone we dealt with at Musick, from the office staff to the installers, was friendly and professional. It is also worth noting that Musick Roofing is a BBB-accredited business with the highest rating, and has two decades of success installing roofs. These were important reasons why we initially contacted them, and we are so glad we did!

Musick Roofing has done a fantastic job for me on several occasions. Most recently they did a full roof repair and replacement stemming from damage during Hurricane Ian. The new roof looks amazing. Steve Straub was fantastic to deal with the entire time. First class operation. Highly recommend.

We have had Musick Roofing complete TWO of our families homes, mom and mother-in-law. We found them to be courteous, and professional. Afterwards they went around the entire home with a metal detector looking fir rogue nails. They followed up with us to ensure that we were happy and satisfied with the work. Their prices were spot on for quality. Be careful of who you chose, some roofers are looking for just insurance jobs and not about responsiveness or quality. I highly recommend them. Steve Straub was our representative, and he made sure everything went as planned.

"This will hurt me, more than you." - Roof needed repair. Musick Roofing Co was "highly recommended" by a friend who is a realtor in our church and Tampa Bay area. Called. Called two (2) other options. Musick came to home for estimate. Out of all three (3), Musick provided the most detailed and lowest price. Choice Musick. Crickets. Yes. No further contact after we said; "Yes." We had to call Musick and ask when, if they were still going to repair our roof as agreed. Gave us a vague date/time. Cleared our calendar for it. Date / Time came and passed by, quickly without any communication from Musick. Called later, same day. All of a sudden, Musick wants to come out the next day. It was a Saturday. We made it clear no one would be home. That we would prefer they not come, Saturday. Saturday came. We were away from home. Musick shows up. Through our security system, at least, we were able to attempt to speak to the roofers. But, none spoke English. They tore up our yard. Damaged ground lighting. Then, could not start repairs, for they did not have proper instructions on what was to be repaired. We gave them one final chance. It was agreed that they would return the following Monday. Cleared all Calendars, once more. Waited. No Show. No Call. After a time, we decided to call Musick, Cancel them. One of the owners emailed to apologize. We will not recommend Musick Roofing Co to anyone. We chose their competitor.

They were the second lowest Estimate, but the built in add ins such as wood and a better underlayment made it worth it. They came on time, worked fast and efficiently, and cleaned up completely. We quoted out several companies for replacing our 16 year old roof - all of which were recommended and popular in the area. One company required bundling gutter cover replacement with the roof job, for a hefty additional fee. Both this and another company came in very high on price. Musick came in, was good on price, offered choices for shingles, had a great warranty, and didn't try to upsell us. They were able to do the job while keeping our existing gutter covers. They also were able to handle our sun tunnels just fine (another roofer said he always replaces them and rolls the cost for replacement into the job). Musick did the job in two days, and were tidy & responsive to our requests.Its hard to find roofers you can trust and ones that won't gouge you on price. I’m so pleased with my roof. The men came around 830 a.m. and were finished by 6:30 PM even though we had a thunder storm that held the men up for over an hour. They worked so well together working in rhythm filling in where ever there was a need. The house and the surroundings were so neat and tidy after they finished. They had cleaned up very very well. There was nothing I had to do.I have to share this about one of the men. The roof was on its way , and tarps were on the ground surrounding the house. I had to go out for an appointment. I opened the door, and immediately a young man, came up to me, took my arm, and led me to my car so I wouldn’t fall. I was so touched.I was so pleased with the price that they quoted on the roof of the house. It was in my budget range and was fair and well explained to me by Steve Straub.
