If you would like a lien placed on your property, I highly recommend Ring/Spearfish. I contacted Ring Roofing, they provided an estimate, I signed. Ring then subcontracted Spearfish to do the job. I paid $14,916.06 for my roof, $7,458.03 was paid and cleared on 12.21.23 with final payment due after completion. A Spearfish employee showed up at my home on Dec 26th to collect said payment. He was nice enough to follow me to the bank as I had no checks at home. I wrote another check for $7,458.03 which I handed to the employee who then deposited it. Fast forward 3 months when I get certified mail that GulfEagle Supply has placed a lien on my home! Ring/Spearfish purchased my roof materials from GulfEagle for $6,319.55. As you can see above they had MORE than enough to pay for these materials and yet they chose not too. I've spoken with both companies, all parties involved and yet this money has still not been paid and I still have a lien on my home due to the negligence of Ring/Spearfish. One star is far too much but it was the only option. I'm not one to call people out or post bad reviews however they have had more than enough time to resolve this issue so now I shall make some noise.

What a wonderful company with which to work! Fast service, friendly people, the crew was kind and stayed out of the homeowner's way, cleaned up immaculately after completed, stayed on timeline. Shawndee and Kurt and others were just a joy to work with. We are renovating an old historic home with multiple roof pitches and we planned/budgeted for a "nightmare". NOPE! As a first time homeowner, a leaking roof that collapses in, is very scare. Ring Roofing came out quickly to provide an estimate, beat the competition's price and then came out very quickly to complete the repair to my roof. I was being told 2-3 weeks for the repair from other companies when it was quite literally raining inside my house. Ring Roofing was able to get out here in only a few days. The job was completed quickly and timely. They guys did a great job of cleaning up after themselves as well, which I very much appreciated! Ring roofing was the first company I requested an estimate from for repairs needed to my roof. I also contacted 4 other companies. Ring roofing was the ONLY company to provide me with an estimate. I thought the estimate was excessive when I first looked at it. But I was on a tight schedule with getting the house sold, so accepted the price and had the work completed. I requested before and after pictures of the job that needed to be done. The day after I accepted the agreement, the work was completed. And that was only a few days after requesting the estimate. The technician that performed the repairs found more damage than I new about, and repaired it all. They even repaired a vent pipe that was damaged as well. I was expecting to over pay for 3 holes in my roof to be repaired. But in the end, I feel like I paid an extremely fair price for 6 or more holes to be repaired and the vent pipe to boot. The repairs that were made look flawless and are barely visible without knowing exactly what to look for. Im definitely a satisfied customer. Thank you to all involved.

Roof installed around July 5, 2020. A water stain appeared inside the home on July 13 and Scott Ring was contacted. A painter came and painted over the stain and no one ever checked the roof or the attic for leaks, although I mentioned my concern to the painter and he said he would “let someone know”. A month later (Aug 13), the stain reappeared in the same spot (new water damage, not the same stain showing through). Ring sent someone out on Aug 14 and 2 leaks were found and repaired. A painter was also supposed to come paint the stain on the interior ceiling. Oct 12, I contacted Scott Ring to let him know a second painter never showed and the stain is still present, 2 months later. He said he would “find out why” and I never heard another word. On Nov 12 (three months after the current stain appeared), I reached out to Scott Ring again advising we still haven’t heard from a painter, to which he responded again, “I will find out why”. No other communication was given. It is now Nov 17 and the stain is still present and I’ve not heard from the company or a painter to resolve the issue. I’m not much of a complainer, especially in a public forum such as this, but at this point, I feel this is my only way to get the issue resolved. When you’re dealing with a $18,000.00 residential roof, one would expect the work and follow up to be top notch. Considering what has happened in the past 4 months since the roof was installed, I would not recommend Ring Roofing to my friends.EDITED : A few hours after this review posted, Ring Roofing contacted me with an apology for the avoidance and lack of communication. A painter was sent out the next day and the spot was painted over. Although a shiny spot is still visible with the right lighting, the color matches the ceiling and it is no longer brown. The Ring family has done an outstanding job not only for our family but multiple clinets of ours over the years, our most recent experience was a roof change on our present home, it was an outstanding job and from the initial estimate down to completed inspection it has been wonderful having them at our home!Chris the on-site manager, went above and beyond with what most would ever consider, initially our order was mishandled by the supply house, unfortunately they are the end of the same supply chain all of the builders use and the order was outside of their hands but not with Chris , and not with Scott Ring, Chris and his crew jumped into immediate action and corrected the suppliers mistakes, spread into multiple vehicles along with a trailer and returned with the correct materials, as well Chris made a then 3rd stop to rectify a last minute request of ours.Price was outstanding, the workmanship and the attention to detail the crew put into the job was beautiful, to some it's just a roof but this is our home , they worked around multiple vehicles along with 28ft boat on the property and when they left..ON TIME...not a sign was in view a major roof overhaul was completed on the ground, they spread multiple coverings throughout the property to protect the landscape and cleaned the place to perfection.We ourselves have multiple family businesses and have had hundreds of jobs yearly completed, the Ring crews are not good the are great!All jokes aside, if you need a roof... Company did a roofing job sometime in 2020 and we bought the property three months after the roof job was done(according to the time Ring roofer/ employee told me and I have texted them, called them, emailed them and today Aug.17, 2023 it's still leaking. They came and did a few inspection but it was obvious that they only showed up without an intention to fix the roof. I see they have 5 stars, who gave them to you?

I was in a bind with my mother (the home owner) in the hospital. I was looking for a roofing service and James from Ring Roofing immediately responded to my plea for help. He immediately sent someone out to look at what was needing to be repaired and withing a day the repair to my mom's house was completed with no worries for her while she was in the hospital. I wasn’t going to write a review until I went up to my attic to get my Xmas tree and found my attic littered with debris from the roofers. Shingles, old lining, nails, wood and saw dust from the venting. My other issues were: found over 50 roofing nail around perimeter of house after job completion. My son stepped on a nail and it punctured the skin. Very painful for him. I stepped on 3 while cleaning but got lucky that no blood drawn. My lawn mower tire also took a nail. They sent 2 guys to replace the soft fit panels and they kept asking me why they are replacing them because they looked fine . It seemed like they didn’t want to work. I had to call the supervisor to address the situation because I did not want to deal with the workers who didn’t want to perform the work I paid for. They left trim panels drooping and stickers on the new vent panels. Besides the lack of professionalism from the workers the roof looked great. No leaks. It is a shame that they do such a great roof and finish it if by leaving a bunch of nails and debris.Services: Attic venting, Skylight installation, Roof installation

They replaced my entire roof, for a 3,000 sq ft space in the dead of summer. They did it efficiently and their workers were very respectful. Months after, there was a small area that was leaking due to the flat roof, meeting the pitched roof; which is a common issue. I called, and they came out and did everything they had to do to fix it. It was a tricky fix that required repeated visits to narrow down possible causes, but they came out every time and were always very helpful and courteous. The owners were attentive, followed up, and dedicated to resolving my issue. I would highly recommend Ring Roofing because they are true their word and do what it takes to keep their customers happy. They understand the importance of building positive relationships with clients, which is rare in this day-in-age.

Ring Roofing to the rescue!I had a leak in my residential roof in Lakeland and Ring was highly recommended by a local group, so I called. From the time I called them, to the time the old leaky ridge vent was replaced - it was fewer than six hours!They were courteous, professional, reasonable, and efficient. Winning combination in my book. We'll use Ring Roofing again.

I got quotes from 4 reputable roofing companies and Ring was one of the highest, but I chose to go with them because they promised good things. I had 4 buildings re-roofed by them at one time. My garage was a simple job to quote. There are exposed rafters and you can see all of the wood that needs to be replaced. Marc quoted me a price for the job, but jacked the price $1700 after the job was started, claiming that there was more wood to replace than he thought. For the 4 buildings, they charged over $3000 more than originally quoted. I am confident that this is standard practice for them. This is how they make extra money. I complained about the ridiculous “change order”, but they would not budge. After the “completion” of the project (August 19), I was not satisfied with a LOT of poor craftsmanship. Marc came out to look at the roofs and agreed that the jobs were not done correctly and he would have his guys out Monday to fix it. He told me that I had to immediately pay in full for the project, but assured me that they would be back to get it done. I reluctantly paid in full for the jobs. The checks were cashed immediately and they were done with me. The projects have not been completed. BEWARE of this company! They are going to charge you WAY more than they quote you and once money is in hand, customer service is done.Update:. After the posted review, the owners came out to the job site and corrected the issues. The final product was done well.

Two things, one positive and one negative:1. Positive - The work they performed was prompt and looks great.2. Negative - Their lack of building code knowledge cost me an extra $1350(approximately) above the quote and their lies are able to cover up their inadequacy.Looking up the building code is how I found out they performed extra work that was not required by code, but they originally told me it had to be done per code. Once they knew I researched the code, they changed their story as to why it was done.On a short note; Do not use Ring Roofing.
