We bought garden soil from our local Home Depot today. The cashier couldn’t find the bar code in her book and requested that I take a picture of what we wanted, then asked us to bring the cart over to the soil to be loaded. She tried to call for someone to help us load it onto the cart and then into the truck, but he never came. Instead, a young woman worker helped me and my husband also helped load it into the truck. He has many back issues and shouldn’t be lifting that amount at all. We have used the same request for other garden purchases at Lowe’s twice recently and someone came promptly and we did not have to help at all. I understand that things come up, but we were disappointed with the service.

The store is great IF you already know exactly what you need AND you already know exactly where it is. Then you have to hope that the aisle you need to go down isn't gated off by an employee that's too busy playing on their phone to respond to you. Also, the location and availability of the items according to their website is 50/50 AT BEST.No wonder more and more brick and mortar stores are going the way of the Dodo.

I want to leave a special review for Patricia j in customer service. I spend a lot of money and a lot of time at home Depot and I have never encountered such a patient helpful customer service agent like I did with Patricia. I went to 3 other stores in 3 different cities that told me that it was not possible to do what I wanted to do which was to utilize a promotion that they only had one item of at each store and said that it's not possible. Patricia went out of her way to find out that it was possible spent over 45 minutes making sure that I got what it is that I wanted and save me over $700. I knew they had to be possible but nobody was willing to spend the time to figure out how to do it but Patricia did and I can tell you that that is very unique nowadays especially in home Depot customer service because they are very very busy but I was shocked with the fact that she continued to make sure that I felt taken care of and that her focus was on me and getting my problem solved before she moved on to the next person and because of that now my wife and I both get a Christmas gift instead of only one of us and we save $700 I can't say it enough I am thoroughly impressed and home Depot you should be very grateful for an employee like her

18 months ago we purchased a rheem water-heater 38 gallons with 6yr warranty on 1-16-21 it went out. Instead of repairing they just replacing it with a new unit. Today 1-19-21 we bought 4 new ceiling fans and picked up the new unit and still have to hire professional to install it. Large parking lot. Usually friendly helpful employees.

Same old same at Home Depot. Decent staff, selection and prices. I prefer HD over Lowe's as I can get my rewards AND military discount (Lowe's only allows one or the other). HD also have better pricing and product selection.I've become a Ridgid tool snob. Changing all my corded and cordless tools over to Ridgid. The 10" and 12" compound mitre saws have become an amazing upgrade over my Ryobi, Delta and Tool Shops saws.And, occasionally, there's this small child at HD that really seem to enjoy straight up their lumber racks. They should sponsor this kid!

Fed up with home depot. I recently tried to return a DeWalt battery and charger combination that I purchased there and I was informed that I couldn't because they were claiming that it was used I told him that I hadn't used it that it was brand new think it's ridiculous that they don't believe in the customer always being right and want to act like it's going to come out of their paycheck if they allow me to return something that I am telling them is brand new and I know it's brand new and I have a receipt for

I want to report my experience when buying some cabinets for two bathrooms, at The Home Depot, which is located at 2805 US Hwy 98 North, we were assisted by the manager of that department, Mr. John Hear. He never informed us that when purchasing two cabinets we needed some pieces called filler cabinets. We received the cabinets and the man who would install them told us what was needed, which resulted in a 3-week delay without being able to install them. It was embarrassing and frustrating. I don't understand why they have a person in charge of that department and he doesn't properly inform what is needed to avoid these setbacks. I hope the Manager is informed of this situation and bad experience. Thank you .

Great variety of succulents, cacti and houseplants! I'm always buying something new, even when I'm not shopping for plants lol. I get a lot of my growing materials here and they have an amazing selection of seeds too. So many to choose from!Here's some photos of the plants & seeds I've bought from The Home Depot. So i’ve been here now going on 30 min for a one item purchase. manager made me wait 10 for him to come. Him being the ONLY person in the whole building that can make this transaction happen. It would have been faster to buy online and not even deal with the mgr. He was not very helpful at all and was unaware of promotions his company had running. Total waste of time. Make no mistake I don’t blame the cashier it is a training issue that apparently the Managers need training as well. I had high hopes for this location as we’ve never been here before. This store was SO disorganized. Laid out different than most stores I was lost trying to find just hand tools. There were displays for tools in too many different locations. The merchandizing of the store was the worst of ANY Home Depot i’ve been in. The one good thing was the cashier was expressing how sorry she was. Zhills is twice the store and bruce b downs is 4x better than Lakeland.Lakeland Home Depot you should pass!!!!

Best Home Depot in North Lakeland. They have anything you need for construction, plants, furniture, renovation. The staff is friendly and most of the time willing to help if they are available.It is a very busy store inside and out. There is also a Mcdonald's nearby just in-case you want to grab a quick bite before you leave.The flowers are always blooming, but sometimes you can find some dead ones.This is always an alternative to Lowe's that is nearby as well.

In the plumbing area this old guy name John has no knowledge of anything in Plumbing. It took four employees to find a nut and insert compression what a horrible experience at this Home Depot. You hire people that don’t know what they’re!!! doing train them better!!!

I bought a riding lawnmower in January of this year. I've been fighting with them and Murray since the beginning of September. It's falling apart and won't start. I also purchased the extended warranty. Nobody wants to make this right.
