I heard about WD Hutchinson from a Wesley Chapel facebook group. I ended up calling 15 companies and I'll be honest - I had some scares with some of the quotes I received. One thing that separates WD from the rest is their quote only charged me for what I needed. Everyone else charges for extra wood which you may or may not need, so why pay for what you don't use? Their quote was VERY competitive, and I was able to choose my preferred shingle brand (GAF Timberline HDZ) and I wanted the Cobra ridge vent which other companies wanted more for.Jim was my salesman and guided me through my many questions from start to finish. Everything he said happened in a timely manner so there were no surprises. Permits filed, crew showed up bright and early, and of course cleaned up any roofing debris as Jim said they would.I would choose them in a heartbeat again - their crew is worth their weight in gold and from what Jim tells me, has been in the business a long time. They work as one, each doing their part and on a roof as big as ours, that counts! The job took 2 days, primarily because of Pasco permitting issues/national holiday.To sum it up, if you want an honest, hard-working company that doesn't upsell you, gives you what you need, and an honest quote without heavy padding while using quality roofing materials, go with them. Our roof/chimney suffered a bit from Hurricane Ian. Friends of ours referred W.D. Hutchinson Roofing, so we were confident from the beginning. Shane and his team exceeded all expectations!! Upon initial contact, the follow up was incredible and they were on time even with being in such high demand right after the storm. Look no further for a roofing company! I have dealt with this company, W.D. Hutchinson Construction since 1993. They replaced my roof in '93 after a hail storm. Then in 2004 after Hurricane Charley, they replaced my roof for the second time. Architecture style roof is the best in my opinion. Listen these people are still in business. That speaks for itself. They have a rating of 109 out of 95 percentile rating. Outstanding! Their salesman, Jeff Sleeper is one of the best and he goes over and beyond making a customer happy. He has checked my roof for the last 5 years to assure me all is ok at no charge. No need to hunt for a roofer anymore. W.D. My insurance company asked the date of my metal and flat roofs. Since there was no record of date, I decided it's best to re-roof. By a referral, I contacted WD Hutchinson. I spoke to Jim. As Jim described t he technical end of re-roofing my metal roof I got a high level of confidence. He presented a quote promptly. As soon as I made the deposit, he filed commencement documents, got permits and he had the materials bundled up and a crew on my roof the following week. The roof was completed in 1 day.
