A year ago this month I had the roof on my home replaced by Robert Taylor, and Fortress Roofing. After getting a number of quotes and meeting with a number of contractors, I chose Fortress based on references, price, and my belief that Robert and Fortress were trustworthy.When the job was complete I could easily say that the quality of work was excellent, and the price was fair. However, it takes time to build trust and that’s probably what I’ve been most impressed with!This month I needed to provide a new insurer with a document I’d lost. Upon reaching out to Fortress, I was pleasantly surprised to find that not only did they still have the documents, they were eager to assist!!! Wait, I’m not buying anything and they were still willing to help me? Not something you find anymore!!! In addition to that, Robert followed up with a phone call to make sure I had what I needed, and answer any questions I may have.In short, Fortress delivered what they promised, and answered the call after the sell was complete. I find both of those things so very refreshing, so very valuable, and unfortunately so very rare in today’s world!!!If you need a new roof, I’d absolutely give Robert and Fortress a call!!!!Service: Roof installation

I cannot say enough about the knowledge, integrity and professionalism of Mike Fortress and his team. Mike was able to pinpoint the reason for a slight soft spot on my roof, provide guidance and evaluate the overall status of my roof. Mike concluded that no immediate action was required and that the issue would be resolved when the roof needed replacement in about two to four years. I have never dealt with a service provider that was so truthful when I fully expected that a repair was required. Since I am a retiree of Owens Corning, (Mike was unaware of my background), I could evaluate his assessment unlike a typical homeowner. Mike would not take money for his time or even a "tip". You can be sure he will get the re-roofing job along with my recommendation to neighbors and friends. Just a very positive experience.

Highly recommend Fortress Roofing. We needed a certification for insurance purposes and they were able to accommodate us on a tight schedule with rates far better than the competitor's estimates. We will most definitely utilize them again should we need roof repairs or replacement.

We starting Leaks in are Old roof due to poor installation of Solar Panels. We could have had another 4-5 years left... anyhow...... I called 6 companies and got only 3 to give me bids.. One even came out and never gave us a bid.. LOL!! Fortress Called us back and Robert came out and had a long conversation with him and decided to go with them based on our conversation and 2 other people in our neighborhood used them and had no complaints. There back office was great, every time I called Robert or the back office , they got back to us. That is ALWAYS the problem with companies. They never call you back in a timely fashion.. We had some leaks and needed tarps before they started the job and Karl came out and was Super knowledgeable and did exactly what he said and STOPPED THE LEAKS.. Their crew was great. Showed up on time and did a great job... Cant complain about ANYTHING. HOW REFRESHING TO ACTUALLY HAVE A COMPANY DO WHAT THEY SAY THEY ARE GOING TO DO!!!! WOW. I WOULD HIGHLY RECOMMEND THEM WITHOUT ANY HESITATION!!! Thanks again Robert and Karl and Fortress!!! Oh, the Solar company that we used ( i wont mention their name) was nothing but and still is a headache.... the complete opposite of Fortress Roofing.. Had a worker named Robert come out last Wednesday (4/29) to look at the roof. He showed up, talked to us before he went on the roof and said he would go up and then have to talk to the repairman and then maybe even comeback. Since then we have attempted to call and email him. We have received zero word since he left the home that day. Terrible customer service and very unprofessional to leave potential clients without any type of follow up communication. Would definitely not recommend.
