I've been very impressed with the workers' craftsmanship from start to finish. There lead Mike Morh who showed his expertise in the value for best interest of the homeowner. Ensuring every step of the way. Giving us updates by his office, texts and email. His knowledge was the key in having the roof restored and adding SolarMax to the equation was a home run. We were stormed with hurricane Ian, it was a deadly and extremely destructive Category 5. We were lost in the beginning and figured out our options through the experience. I commend SolarMax and RidgeMax on their excellence work. I highly recommend to friends, relatives and neighbors the value of their company. Plus, I have a very happy wife now. Quality work, just make sure you get everything in writing on the contract that salesperson says they will do prior to signing. Very happy with the work they did. Price was reasonable. They provide a wide range of services that other companies don't provide. Would use them again for future projects. Roof looks great !

I think it was a bit hard-sell and focused on areas that were not relevant to me purchasing the system. To spend any time to tell me that all of their trucks are wrapped and everyone is in company t shirts matters little to the customer. Instead the discussion should be focusing on quality of the product (warranty, customer service, etc.) and price...

Mike was Phenomenal! very knowledgeable. Answered all my questions, even though it took a few hours. Not pushy at all. He had Solid reachback to Clearwater – he called his support team quite a few times. They were able to update my system as we tried various Solar array configurations in real time. His veteran discount was Awesome. He also threw in a lot of extras – insulation, back up generator, Etc.

The experience was great. Steve came out and discovered the issue rather quickly. Replace an item that was causing the issue. He also took extra time to discuss how solar production works and explained how energy in transfer and received.

Made an appointment with them to come to my house to evaluate solar. They said they will be here between 2:00 and 4:00 PM. They even called and confirmed it with me at 1:00 PM. I cancelled my plans and stayed home from 1:00 to 4:00. No one showed up. I called the person who confirmed the appointment and had me hold for 6 minutes and one lady came on the phone. She asked me if I was going to be home late evening or even another appointment next day. I said I was not available for those two days. She said she was stuck with another potential customer and therefore could not come for my appointment. She did not even call and tell me she was going to be late. I said I was disappointed with this company not even making a common courtesy call and tell me she was going to be late. I do not want to deal with them any more. How can I trust them if I sign a contract with them. Need to respect customer time and must follow common rules of decency and courtesy to get the trust of the potential customer. I did not even hear an apology. I do not go with them for anything.

I had to have some work performed on my panels. Steve came out the first time to replace the gateway, the second to investigate why some panels weren't reporting. In both cases, Steve worked on the unit in a friendly and professional way. He explained how the panels work that even I could understand.

It has been five months since I completed roof replacement and solar panel installation with SolarMax. We had run into some issues with roof replacement. I have water plumbing through the attic and the line was cut during roof installation. In spite of me offering to call a plumber to repair it and installation super visor said that he is well trained and can fix it properly. I kept his boss at their office appreciated of the development and he showed full confidence in this crew. The roof was put together and over night the repair didn't hold and we had a flood in the roof by early morning. I had to get another company to come and dry out the room and handle the water damage and to replace wet insulation. It cost some money from my pocket. I'll let the Max guys know and they offered to offset the cost from their final payment. So I was happy with that. The Solar installation was completed after that. The crew worked on it and followed up on it was very helpful and overall I was happy. I had posed a five start review her. I made my final payment minus the offset for the water damage work. All was done and I moved along. Now, after 5 months I'm getting calls constantly from their office telling me that I owe 'em money. The fool who is calling me and keep going is not willing to listen to what I'm saying. It seems to me that they had a overhaul of the personal there and they got rid off all the good people. Very sad.

Mike Gibson from this company went to an extra mile to cought the causes of leaking around the exausting pike coming up from my roof, which he found was clugged and cracked. He encouraged me to call the plumber to replace the pipe; needless to say, Mike was in my home all the step of the way, even to explain the plumber about it, and sealing and changing the boot of the pipe coming up from the roof. All of this was preformed free of charge, while honoring the new metal roof warranty. Thank you Mike.

I had a shingle roof put on my house by this company it has been nothing but a nightmare. First my roof underlayment was put on in the worst rain storm of July 26th. The next morning I had leaks in my house. They sent out a contractor he didnt want to get involved because of they knew the roofer and there was problems then sent another guy out after all I heard was yes yes. No one showed back up. I called the office was told I pay the balance or no repair work will be done. Two companies out. The 1st guy did not want to give a quote because did not want to get involved . He had issues with the roofer. The other never called back. Nowthey have put a lein on my house. I have the leak still. I have had 3 roofing companies out since then. My shingles are a mess. The edges of my roof is not sealed nails sticking up. The roof cover os popping up. On the edges It isn't even sealed. The peel plastic wasnt even pulled off. I have nails everwhere on my eves. On the drip edge in some spots tge is an in away from my roof. Also my flat roof was cut to short and uneven some part of original roof is showing. I have bulking. And not sealed on flat roof. How could this pass inspection???? 😫 Beware this is only a little. Oh yes they left a hole in the back of my roof. Never even cover it. Still open. They have put a lein on my house for non payment!!!!. showed

A very pleasant and low pressure experience. I investigated solar for my home several months ago. One of the companies that I interviewed was Solarmax, Peter Spezza was the sales consultant that arrived at my door in a timely manner. Peter was very low pressure and informative about solar. He patiently answered my questions and allowed me to think about considering solar before I heard back from him. After several days he dropped me an email asking if I had any further questions, on April 11 I signed the contract with Peter and gave him the 50% required deposit. On April 17 the installation crew arrived early in the morning. It was raining that day, but the crew waited for the rain to stop and began the installation around noon. The project was completed the following day. Coreys crew was extremely professional and polite. They kept the job site very neat and tidy through the whole process. on April 23 the city inspector arrived and signed off on the project. On April 30 I received word from the Solar Max office that TECO had installed my net metering meter, and that my system was up and running. I have monitored the activity for the past several days, and presently the system is out, performing expectations. I am pleasantly pleased and highly recommend Solarmax for your solar needs.
